Super delicious ice cream! Busy place on a snowy February day so you know it must be good!

Wow, this place is a Gem! When you walk in you're instantly greeted by the nicest people behind the counter. They have a paper menu of all of their fresh ice creams, sorbets and non-dairy items. Everything tasted delicious! You can get your ice cream in a cup or cone and there are a couple of tables inside to eat. We decided to take ours to go so we could walk around town. I got the salted caramel with cookie crumbles and it was phenomenal! I accidentally took a bite before I took the photo, I couldn't wait. What a great place. I recently noticed a location in Coeur d'Alene. I'm so happy to find one closer but I would totally drive to Sandpoint for this one.

My family and i always come to this ice cream shop on our annual visit to sandpoint. The flavors are delicious and unique at the same time, there is always a new seasonal flavor that catches my attention! While having a group of 10 people and the line already long, the workers still manage to greet us with a smile and enthusiasm. There wasn't too many places to sit, but people were in and out so seats quickly open up. I will always come back to this ice cream shop!

I'm in Sandpoint for the summer. I arrived on June 20th and got a scoop of ice cream at Panhandle C&C. I immediately noticed the gross sticky fingered smeary handprints all over the glass door and windows. The store was busy. It happens. Less excusable, however, is the disgusting accumulation of old, blackened ice cream all over the sidewalk in front of the store. How many generations have dripped ice cream here and it's never cleaned? Since that first experience, I walk past the store almost every day. The windows are STILL covered in greasy handprints, to say nothing of the auto repair shop floor-like disaster on the sidewalk and bench. I swear they're the same handprints, never wiped down. If this is how the front of the house looks, what are the conditions in the back where the product is handled? Today I walked in to try another scoop but, with the condition out front in my mind, I couldn't bring myself to eat anything there. Btw, that first scoop on June 20 (Huckleberry Buttermilk)? It was okay. Nothing special, and not worth the lofty price. Please, give the place a good scrub! An establishment serving dairy products should be sparkling.

Why can't Los Angeles be on this spots level? I mean all around phenomenal ice cream and they're not selfish with the amount they give. All the favors I've had were extraordinary: Huckleberry Buttermilk, Chocolate, Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Salted Caramel Brown Butter Cookie, Coffee. Their waffle cone was soft and delicious. Askinosie Mocha great, affogato great, what more do you need? Seriously, haven't seen a place in LA be generous with the amount of ice cream they give and price!

Great ice cream & waffle cones! They give you a good amount of ice cream. Ours was a little soft when we got it but it still tasted good. They have a nice selection of unique flavors I haven't seen before. There was a line but it moved fast.

Really friendly service and amazing ice cream. We tried the 1. buttermilk huckleberry and the 2. salted caramel and brown butter cookie

You cannot visit Sandpoint in the summer and not stop at Cone & Coffee. During our time here we visited every single day, I loved ending our day with a double scoop of salted caramel on a waffle cone--deliciously sweet! This place gets busy with a line out the door. It's probably the only local ice cream shop in town and they sure do know what they're doing and they're doing it right! They have a wide variety of flavors from roasted strawberry, plain chocolate, vegan varieties, and so much more.

Panhandle Cone & Coffee is the premier spot for ice cream in Northern Idaho. They're located in a quaint shop right off Main ST. They offer ~12 core flavors and have seasonal options as well. Our favorite was the Salted Caramel & Brown Butter Cookie. The seasonal Huckleberry flavor was a close second. While I opted for a cup my wife had a waffle cone which was house made and had the perfect soft to crunch ratio. The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, and allowed us to sample many different flavors. If you're craving something sweet on a warm summer day definitely check them out!

The store is really good and my family used to love it, but we will not be returning or…read morerecommending it anymore because of predatory behavior by the company they contract with for security. A member of my household went back in to get one deli item that we hadn't gotten. Because you walk past the doors to get back to the registers, she forgot she hadn't bought this item yet and began to walk out. The security person saw a confused and distressed young woman, barely over 18, making no attempt to conceal or otherwise indicate an intent to be doing anything dishonest.... And decided that the appropriate response was not to see if she was willing to pay or have a simple conversation. Instead he detained this young woman for a half an hour while calling in law enforcement. When the police officer said they didn't see any evidence of an actual crime, the security guy instead made her sign something before she could leave. She didn't understand it, but it said she owed the guy's Security Company (not paid to Super One themselves) the cost of the $12 single food item PLUS $250 in "restitutions"!! This is not someone who has any prior issues with this or another store. This is not someone who was combative or deceitful. I'm convinced he saw someone confused and vulnerable and decided he could flex his "authority" and bully them over a trivial issue to make some money for his company and pretend like he's doing something resembling his actual job. He also trespassed them for a year from the store, which is frankly pointless because none of us will be shopping here again with this hostile approach.

It's roughly walking distance from the beach (maybe a brisk quarter mile or so from the sand), and is THE best kept secret in downtown Sandpoint. This place defines "hole in the wall" restaurant, and even if you're on foot, if you blink at the wrong moment, you'd likely miss it. Don't do that. This place is excellent. I've never been to Philadelphia, so I can't say with any accuracy or certainty how Joe's sandwiches hold up to the real deals, but I will say that the sandwiches and their burgers are indeed the Real Deal. Their sandwiches come in 8" and 12" lengths and burgers from 1-2 quarter pound patties. They have a fairly standard soda fountain equipped with Pepsi product, a few bottled beverages, and a mindblowing milk shake menu. A few years ago they even offered a buffalo sauce flavored milk shake. Full stop. Anyway, I can attest that their huckleberry shake and Hershey's chocolate malt are out of this world awesome. My wife and I went here for date night last night, our first time in in quite some time. Service was very friendly and attentive, and everything was made to order. Whereas I've usually gone for the Philly cheese steak or French dip, this time I did the bacon burger with pepper jack (they have a good variety of cheese available, I should add) and left with zero regrets. My wife did the standard cheeseburger with everything and we split a side of onion rings which were ambrosial (delicious, amazing, what have you). Parking can be a little iffy, but there are some spots on the street right out front. Worst case scenario, they're a very short walking distance from the big (free) public parking lot on Church street, which is where I parked. You might even need the walk if you're eating there. Inside seating is limited, but clean and comfortable. The AC wasn't the greatest, and I can't imagine the heat from the kitchen does the interior temps any favors. My wife and I rarely if ever get a date night anymore, so the whole thing was a great treat, and something I'd gladly do again anytime. Highly, highly recommended.
