Went to this place for a quick coffee on our way back from Sandpoint on a Sunday, the aroma of food and the interesting menu motivated us to stay for brunch, and absolutely loved the result! Their food is fresh, lots of options to choose from, very reasonable pricing and provides a tastefully done interior. We ordered one veg wrap and one chicken wrap with added pesto. These were the best wraps I have had till date. So tasty, flavorful, fresh and filling. We also ordered some hazelnut mocha and some raspberry mocha (these were seasonal specialties) and loved them. Wish I could give 10 stars! I live here and this is my favorite coffee/breakfast spot. Super clean, fresh food and everything is gluten-free. One of their "specials" (Breakfast Savory Bowl) has become my favorite and I'm so glad they've kept it around. I just tried the Clean Breakfast plate for the first time and I hope they keep that around as well! Their coffees are delicious and their seasonal ones are epic. I highly recommend the brown butter latte in the fall...literal tiny beads of melted butter floating on top - delicious!! The vibe is chill and relaxed with live plants hanging and Lord Huron/Lumineers style music playing. It's a family run business and everyone who works here is so nice and friendly. The *only* thing is they are closed on Saturdays, so if you're visiting, be prepared for that. If I didn't work, I'd be down here all 6 days to have coffee and breakfast. Ok we happened upon this place while visiting Sandpoint. WOW so wholesome, so delicious. The staff were extremely friendly, service was quick, and most importantly food was delicious . All organic and no gluten. I know a lot of people would turn away at the idea of no gluten I promise it's still delicious. We had the pesto melt, fresh squeezed OJ cappuccino and americano. Open your to go container because it's rarely prepared the same or has what you asked for. Don't use words like "salad" loosely or you will get an entirely different meal w meat and cheese! I love places like this soooo much that I end up coming back and trying something new every time... however, I did have to deduct a star for them not knowing how the heck to make an acai bowl... and maybe they serve it in a bowl when you order dine-in but to go should also be in a to-go BOWL, not a drink container. The ingredients are amazing! My 5 year old eats and drinks their stuff (big win!) and their spicy avocado toast is TO DIE FOR. It's the craving of my life now. I read those Narnia books as a kid and there was a food the kids ate that they couldn't stop eating (which I never understood) until NOW. Now I get it with this spicy avocado toast. Bravo. My husband and I buy organic when at all possible so when we were in Sandpoint, we searched organic restaurants. They are hard, if not impossible to find but we were pleasantly surprised to see City Beach Organics listed on Yelp. The restaurant has a very eclectic or industrial decor. The menu is very limited so my husband and I only found one thing that sounded appetizing to us. It was the turkey sandwich with homemade tortillas. We both said "hold the avocado" so if you like avocado, you might find it to be a great sandwich. We also ordered chips and salsa. We drank water. I'm not sure if we will go back because of the limited menu but it's possible. The meal was okay, but not great. read more
