Staff are friendly and greets everyone as soon as they enter, they tended to everyone despite the place being so busy. The staff called me as soon as my firearm arrived so I could complete the paperwork and they called as soon as my NICS cleared so I could pick up my firearm. read more

My boyfriend needed help and the owner had no problem explaining to him and showing him what needed. He did it a way that didn't make him feel unknowledgeable about guns like so many other places do. I don't review establishments as much as I should but Pantel Tactical blew me away. I called around the area for some simple gunsmithing and only found outrageous prices and lead times until I found these guys. The clerk who answered the phone was very helpful and told me they would try and help me out same day despite being busy. When I got to Pantel the shop was indeed busy but I was still greeted immediately. Josh, the owner, approached me and asked how he could help. He quoted a great price and went to work right away. 15 minutes later he was done and happy to show me his work. He took his time with me, was as courteous as can be, and I could tell he had experience. I was so happy with the service I recieved that I bought a few items that I didn't even really need just to support their small shops. TLDR: Pantel Tactical is my new go-to gun shop/smith. Over the last 6 months, I've bought a couple of guns directly through Pantel, but also used them extensively to transfer guns through. They have extremely fair pricing for a local gun store and they are super friendly even after the sale. Although they sell guns and accessories, they primarily focus on design and gear manufacturing. They make great gear for active military. I'm very glad they're near me as they are a great resource when I can't figure out stuff. read more

Best gun shop in Washington. Literally! I can't say it enough! Brendan is usually the one who takes care of me always but I just met Zach today (The mastermind in the back) and had a custom EDC belt made and he's dope and I love my belt! The rest of the staff are awesome as well! Seriously this is the first gun shop I walked into and felt welcomed and not stared at in the wrong way because the way I look or the color of my skin. Not going to mention the previous popular places I've been where I've been looked at different or not even taken seriously like I didn't have money to buy anything. I've had 2 guns I've bought and shipped to Pantel and they're always on time as soon as it delivers to them and I also sold a gun there with the service they offer and the $25 transfer fee why not go to them! I also had some sights put on my Glock 19 and they were done to perfection! This is always going to be my go-to gun shop as long as I live in Washington. You like guns? Great. You like good shopping experiences? Great. You like friendly and helpful advice? Great. You like local shops but you don't like local markups? Also Great. If any of the above applies to you as a firearms enthusiast, you need to come on over to Pantel Tactical. Their location is a bit obscure and perhaps a little out of your way, but the trip is completely worth it. It's no more than 5 minutes from your typical run of the mill Renton shopping track. If you need a transfer-this is the place to get it done. Ben's loans down the hill has a great selection of firearms but they don't do transfers. West coast armory has a good selection of firearms, a shooting range, transfers, and a bag of chips, but they're much further out of the way and a trip there warrants planning ahead of time and a good alibi to tell the person in charge of your life. If I ever need to transfer a firearm, I'll take it here. If I have a firearms related question, I'll call in and ask the owner himself, who served as a Ranger and has the most friendly Care-Bear personality, yet will give you the straight shimmy on his experience with firearms and price related inquiries. At some point in the past I've fallen sucker to a Palmetto State Armory sale only to find out that the shops that can accept deliveries are out in the middle of who and what and charge an arm and a leg for a transfer. After finding Pantel Tactical I called PSA and jumped through some hoops to get Pantel Tactical listed on PSA's recipient list for orders, you can thank me later. I had the order sent to their shop and I brought in my upper which had arrived earlier in the week. The owner snapped it together and transferred it to me right then and there. I wasn't sure about the AR-15 manual of arms so he gave me a 15 minute instructional on the manual of arms, field stripping, cleaning, disassembly and reassembly. All for free and for the sake of helping another person out. After he pieced it together for me I spent another hour in their shop hanging out and shooting the s*** about random firearms related topics and his service. Overall I would say they have amazing customer service and outstanding friendliness, which will bring me back to do business with them, and many of my friends as well. read more

An unorganized, stereotypical gun store. The first thing I noticed was how much of a mess the store is. It's unorganized with little pieces of items scattered in a not-so-orderly fashion. If you want to find something, you better ask the front counter. The area they worked on firearms for customization was not hidden from the customer area of the store, so it made everything more cluttered as well. A fisher example is when I went to use their restroom, they had a photo shoot set up inside. I'm glad their products are full of the bi-products of human waste on a daily basis. It also has barely any inventory. There were maybe 8 rifles, 15 pistols, and no shotguns nor rifles that were not AR-15 variant. Look elsewhere for a good stock of weapons. Back to the stereotype I mentioned before. Have you ever encountered that macho "guns guns guns!" attitude before? You'll find it here. The people behind the counter are the typical macho, buff "guns are cool" type, and will crap on your choice of firearm. For example, do you like the .40 caliber like I do? Don't tell them, otherwise they'll do nothing but tell you how the .40 is dead. Would you like to argue otherwise? Nope! They'll just become a broken record of "40 is dead, 40 is dead, 40 is dead". I get it guys - I once thought everything on the Internet was true too. But I like my choice of caliber for my weapons, and I'm not going to bash your choices of weapons. Way to make the customer feel appreciated and like they belong there! read more

The location is hard to find since it's hidden behind the old bowling alley out of sight from the main road. Their a small shop which primarily looks like they focus on selling parts/gear and special ordering firearms. The firearms on hand looks very limited but it sounded like they can order anything you're looking for. The pricing on the firearms are very competitive with other shops. Their staff is fairly knowledgable and friendly. Let me poke away at their knowledge and gave me some good advice. If you know which firearm you're already wanting to purchase I'd highly recommend coming here. If you're browsing go else where and come back and order through pantel. read more

Went here to do a transfer. Was greeted by both employees working behind the counter. After the transfer was done, I asked to hold one of the CZ Scorpions they had. After the clerk and I talked more about the gun, he then handed me his personal CZ Scorpion to let me see the mods that are available for it and how they improve the gun. I was very impressed, he let me finger-**** and dry fire his personal, customized gun. Will be coming back here to buy guns, especially since the scorpion on sale was the same price as online retailers. read more

So I decided to try them again even though I said I wasn't going to. The location is convenient for me and there were so many good reviews that I thought, ok; give them another shot. Wow, it was a totally different experience. The people at the desk were attentive and thorough. The guy helping me also made sure that I knew how to fill out the form for the transfer and kept me informed about where I was in the process of getting my gun and how long he thought things would be along the way. Pantel Tactical is a great little local gun shop. They may not have a huge selection of firearms on hand at any one time but they will order anything you want and they will get it quickly. The staff is always friendly and helpful and most importantly they don't talk down to women. I would much rather spend my dollars here than in any of the other gun shops in the area. Every time I go into Pantel tactical I am greeted immediately by a group of people that love what they do. I have made a picked up a few hand guns from them and even done two complete builds and they have been able to do everything from mild to all out top end builds. If they don't have it the owner gets asap usually within a couple days.
