While there I got to see so many vintage attractions, memorabilia, and learn more about the Carnival history. This had been on my list of spots to visit and finally was able to cross it off my list! Yes, the admission is $20, but it's worth it for everything I learned and saw. They also have a shop where you can buy Carnival themed products. I ended up getting a cute carousel ornament. And while there, check out the disc golf course next door! There are even more vintage rides in the course.

Easter Egg Hunt at our community public area. It was awesome. Must have been 200 kids...easy…read more Easter Bunny made his appearance and patiently stood in the hot sun and took pictures with the kids. Egg hunts were divided into ager groups. 1-5 & 6-10. I helped with the ages 1-5 group, lining the kids up (no parents) to make sure each child had the same advantage. The mad dash for the 100's of eggs spread out on the tennis courts was awesome and went off without a hitch. After the hunts were over, prizes were awarded to kids who held a winning ticket which they received upon entry to the event. These were many Easter Baskets, scooters and bicycles as praises. The kids had a blast, their parents & grandparents also had a blast watching their little ones. A great community with great events!

You must provided your resident ID to get a free membership card and while your use is tracked it's to help provide the community with statistics on what is needed in the area . Most free classes are sponsored by BabyBungalow & The Children's Board. Designated citizenship, English as a second language, computer and painting classes.. CPR & First aid, babysitting, car seat safety certifications also. 0-5 play groups for music, art, enrichment and developmental milestones.

FREE museum, what!?!…read more This awesome museum is a work in progress, but still has tons of history to see. Entry to the museum costs you nothing, but they accept donations. The memorial dedication was humbling. I'm glad to see these heroes honored in this historical building. I've always known firefighters have a dangerous job, and this memorial is a reminder of the bravery of those who choose to put their lives at risk for the safety of others. It was truly an honor to be able to experience this piece of history.

I didn't that part but the play area is really fun for my toddler and he loved it. It's a small area but the play sections are very intentional. Other than the blond lady guarding the play area, everyone else was super friendly. I wish they were open for play on weekends but only Tuesdays and Thursdays.
