The key issues were cleanliness (1), customer service (2) and the quality of the services provided (3). Cleanliness - My technician completed my entire service in a peeling face mask which was gross considering pieces fell from her face with some movements. The stations were not sanitized or cleaned in between customers and the instruments were used across customers as well. Additionally, there is a technician that acts as bartender serving drinks to customers. I watched him stop a service on customers and prepare several drinks without first washing his hands. Customer service was mediocre at best but the staff is very unprofessional. Not rude or mean but unprofessional in their presentation and rendering of services. Service quality is where things really got rocky. My pedicure service was extremely lackluster and disappointing. During my pedicure I was left to soak until the water eventually got cold (approximately 25 mins) and then my service was started. When asked if I wanted polish, I responded "No, please buff the toes"...my technician told me it would be an extra cost. The rest of the pedicure lasted about 10 minutes during which, the technician barely trimmed my nails, lightly brushed soap on my feet before ending the service with the smallest amount of lotion I've ever seen. My manicure was rushed and poorly done. My nails weren't fully soaked, so there was still dirt under them when the service was completed. I had to explain several times how I wanted my nails shaped....rounded. I requested a simple line design and end result was not worth the price paid. I paid $199 for 2 manicures and 2 pedicures and everyone in the group was disappointed upon leaving.

My real issue is two different times that I scheduled with his wife and she screwed up my appointment. The woman tried out maybe 6 or 7 different colors on me to get the exact match. She was super patient in getting me the right color and I really appreciated that. She filed down my acrylics and added the new color, all for $25!!! I was amazed at the price for such a meticulous job. She even drilled under my nails, which I've never had any salon ever do. My mom got a mani-pedi, and then got her eyebrows and upper lip waxed. She said the woman (same woman) did such a meticulous job, doing multiple passes to do it perfectly. We so appreciated how meticulous and thorough they were, and they have SO many colors. It's a shame we're only here to visit family, otherwise this would be our go-to salon.
