horrible management! Manager is wearing slides while making customers order in the After waiting an hour and 45 minutes for my order, I called to check on it at the store... They informed me that my order has been I never received it! So I drove all the way to the store and they tried to give me the old pizza that has still been sitting there! How could my order be complete if the pizza is still at the store??? management was horrible and not understanding at all! They did not compensate me at all! I placed an order seamlessly online for carry out and it was ready pretty quick! The cashier greeted me quickly and was very friendly. The food was not as great as i expected. I was once so hungry and desperate for food that I did the unthinkable--I placed an order for a Papa John's pizza by phone. It was either that or the choice of MREs. In retrospect, the pizza was probably the less healthy and less nutritionally-balanced option. Still, I bought and ate the food, so now I have to review it. After calling the number, they immediately placed me on hold for an untold amount of time. My cell phone might have given me cancer in the time it took for them to respond. But when they did, I ordered a "the works" pizza and it took over an hour for them to arrive at my destination. That was a pretty sad day for delivery. I then got a sob story from the driver about how he only gets paid five dollars an hour. Apparently nobody tips him, and he's wasting gas by driving through the ghettos. The pizza was tolerable after it actually arrived, but I had half a mind to just cancel my order at one point. Never again will I order from here. read more

Placed an order for just one pizza and one order of wings. I received the order 15 minutes later. Yay!! Wow they are fast. Yes they're fast BUT....pizza was burnt on both sides and was not even cut into slices...just one giant uncut piece of dough and sauce and meats. Now to my hotwings....the flavoring covered the wings BUT...the wings were completely overdone. Like so hard my jaw hurt after eating just half of them. It's a gamble. If the manager makes it, ya get ganked. If a real person makes it it's all good. Pre ordered for an hour and a half later, an XL cheese with the 3cheese and 2cheese plus 2X extra cheese. Had to wait another half hour while the manager made it because "I'm the only one working here that knows what's going on". Granted they did have a delivery mix up with two very similar pizzas, one with mushrooms the other without. But hey things like that happen, ya move on. Not her. She had to publicly berate her help for a simple mistake. Long story short. I could see sauce and crust on what should have been a 3X cheese pizza. It's been reported that this pizza chain has issues with its online app. On 1/6/2018,I attempted to use the app for a BOGO special and couldn't because it says that the location doesn't honor that special upon checkout. I called the location and actually listened to the promotion while on hold. The person that answered the phone told me that the offer is only available online. I informed him of the problem at checkout and he assured me that the app was working fine. I asked if he could process it over the phone and he said no. I informed him that I would have to purchase from Pizza Hut because they didn't seem to care if my $35 was spent with their chain. Very poor customer service. read more

They're only getting one star because Yelp won't let me give them zero. After several bad experiences with this Papa John's, I completely lost my mind and gave them a 27th chance. Wow. What a waste of time and money. Literally the worst customer service ever. Pizza took well over an hour to get here. Driver looked stoned when I opened the door. He was courteous enough, but when I told him I was going to check the order before he left, he started sweating. Sure enough, it was dead wrong. And cold. He could tell I was pissed, and said, "I was told to tell you that you can call the manager with any problems." I guess they knew they were sending out a crap pizza? I shut the door and called the store. I was passed around to three different imbeciles, none of whom could help me, all of whom said they were managers. I was offered 50% off my next order because the pizza was cold - not because it was wrong. They made sure to point that out. I told them I wanted a refund because I won't be ordering from them again, and they've NEVER made good to honor their bogus 50% off promise before. The last imbecile I talked to said he couldn't do that. I asked for contact info for the franchise owner. I was given an out-of-town number for some guy named Will and told he was the area manager. The imbecile couldn't even tell me his last name. I think I'll just get the contact info for the owner myself. In this small town, it won't be hard to track him down. I don't expect to get the $23 back for the crap pizza, but this guy deserves to know about the dip$h1+s he has running the place. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Sounds like a bunch of little kids playing on the phone handing it from one person to another. Last night I made the horrible mistake of ordering from papa johns on Jackson street. First the pizza was promised to be delivered 30-40 minutes it took over an hour from the time I ordered till the guy rang the doorbell. My child asked me where's the pizza about 30 times!! Finally the pizza is here we open the boxes to find that they burned it. So automatically I call back to let them know they delivered burnt pizza being that I'm assuming they didn't notice it when they boxed it up!! I'm told the manager says if you bring it back up here we will be more than happy to make you new ones! Ok if I wanted to make a drive out somewhere I would have gone out to eat instead of ordering a pizza to be delivered and paying a delivery charge and tipping the driver. So when my husband heard the suggestion they made he got upset and decided he doesn't even want the pizza anymore just asked them to come pick it up and bring back a full refund. So we're told someone will be there shortly to pick it up and an hour later and they hadn't made it yet. We call back again another person answers the phone and assures that someone is on the way and that we will have our refund before the end of the night... 2 hours later it's now 11 o'clock which means they closed and no one ever showed up!! I live in Alexandria off of Coliseum and ordered a pizza for delivery which was never delivered HOWEVER when I called Charles Evan an hour later, he insisted that his driver came out to my house, honked the horn, rang the doorbell, AND called my phone. That is the biggest lie ever. They never came. And I will be getting a printout from Sprint to show that no incoming call ever came to my phone. And my doorbell works perfectly and by the way, I was sitting about 6 feet from my front door the entire time. But I guess having the honesty and decency to say they went to the wrong house or were running is not the Jackson Street Papa Johns way, instead a lack of integrity and lying to customers is how they got out of a long trip from Jackson to Coliseum. Ridiculous...pizza hut and dominoes from now on. If you are reading this David Ross (Regional Manager), please instill more integrity and a spirit of customer service in your people...it truly does pay the bills!
