They do everything so consistently. I called in an order and she couldn't have been nicer. Walked in and the same couple of ladies that have been there for years were there. Everything I have ordered has been per menu and tasty, clean restaurant, very polite staff from front to kitchen, tea is amazing .. just over all pleasant. I didn't want anything too heavy but was hungry and fast food just didn't sound good. I did a Google search for food near me and Roly Poly Sandwich's showed up. It was just what I was looking for, something that wouldn't give me the guilties for eating bad and something I had never tried before. I had the number 13 Hot & Honey. It was delish!! Smoked Turkey, jalapeño Jack cheese, BACON, sun dried tomatoes, baby spinach with a side of spicy honey mustard. They had me at bacon & Jalapeños, it far exceeded my expectations! I'll be craving this sandwich later, we don't have a Roly Poly where I live! I got the large because I intended to eat half later, the portion size was big for a sandwich. Usually half would have been perfect but..... it was so good, I couldn't put it down, I ate the whole sandwich. Very fresh, great service, clean and quick! You also must try the sweet tea! Best I've ever had! Did I mention the service? Yes, I did, but it deserves another mention. At a time where good service is hard to find, the service at Roly Poly Alexandria was EXCELLENT!! This small local restaurant is really cool and has really good sandwiches, salads, and soups. The sandwiches are rolled like a burrito (some are grilled and some are cold). The typical rolled sandwhich combo includes over 20 varations of turkey, ham, chicken, vegetables, spinach, bacon, cheese, etc. The sides include chips and a drink. They also sell really good cookies. This restaurant is kinda small and located in the strip mall behind Chuckie Cheese (beside the Collegiate LSU Store and Smackin' Macks). They have really small tables (best for 4 people or less). The services is really good and the workers are really nice. They take your order and you'll sit down for about 10 minutes while they cook/grill your rolled sandwich. The rolled sandwiches are footlong (cut in half) and will definitely fill you up. The price of the average meal is $7.00-$9.00...which is TOO much for a fast food sandwich place. They also cater for big parties! read more

I had the Chicken Santa Fe which was a heated, toasted, cheesy, rolled sandwich with fresh, juicy chicken, tomatoes, and onions all lightly smothered in a tasty ranch sauce. Comes with a side of salsa for dipping. Staff was very polite and warm-hearted. Prices were a tad more than at subway, but i would rather spend a dollar more for a better product and friendly service. This is one of the cleanest places I've been to in this town. :) Great new interior remodeling that is almost finished. I highly recommend this eatery for a casual quick lunch. read more

First time here. The sandwich was pretty good. Flavorful. I ordered the Cuban on wheat. I gave 4 stars for the soup, which was like watered down canned spaghetti sauce. But the staff was sweet. I came during lunch and had a hard time finding a table without crumbs on it. Overall I'd return to try another sandwich. read more

Every time I come here I always say NEVER again and a long time later I try them again only to say once again, NEVER again. This time seriously, NEVER again. They have the worst service ever. They are so slow and don't bother calling an order in for pick up. They won't even start the order until you get there and pay. 3 salads have taken 30 minutes to make. NEVER again! read more

There aren't as many Yelpers in the South as there are on the coasts. So its always a challenge to find a local restaurant in small southern towns that doesn't serve artery clogging fried foods. Roly Poly isn't exactly a family restaurant. It's a small southern chain. But their sandwiches are pretty decent. I got a panini. It was tasty and less than $8 for a meal. The owners are a really nice southern, LA friendly family. Worth checking out if you are passing through Alexandria. read more

It is _so_ nice to have a fast-food place that offers much healthier alternatives to the typical fast-food fare. Our entire family enjoys Roly Poly. The sandwiches are yummy, the service can't be beat, and the bathrooms are almost always very clean. We especially enjoy eating on the back deck. Really good wraps! I like the chicken fajita on wheat. I usually get the half sized portion because I also order the shrimp and corn bisque. To wash it all down, I suggest the almond tea.
