What made this interaction especially upsetting was that it felt targeted. Based on how we were treated, we were left with the impression that we experienced blatant racism. Whether intentional or not, the interaction made us feel unwelcome and disrespected. We've had positive experiences here in the past, which is why this visit stood out so much.
