As for the food, well one thing is for certain, they do not mess around with their portion sizes when it comes to their specialty plates. Great little Mexican restaurant in Flowery Branch. Service is always too notch. Recently the wife and I have been splitting the carne asada tacos. They have so much toppings you need extra chips . My kids love the quesadillas and burritos. Honestly, I can't think of a single thing we have gotten that I did not enjoy. Arrived at 5pm on this past Sunday. About 50% occupied at the time. Chips and salsa promptly brought to table. Asked for drinks. We all got water. After a few minutes looking at all of our options we decided. Shrimp tacos for the wife, chili relleno with beans and rice, DIL for pollo relleno with beans and rice and my son got beef burrito with lettuce, rice, cheese, and topped with queso blanco with beans and rice. Also as a date the kids got a beef intestine street taco and a beef tongue street taco. Although, their minds got to them they could not eat them. So I ate them and all of us were only able to finish half of our meals since they were large plates. The food was authentic Mexican food with attention to quality and freshness. Would highly recommend LaCasaDelTaco. And for the final note, we were full and had leftovers that we were very pleased about. Then the bill came. $69.69 for all that great food? Last night we met friends so we ate in and as usual it was very crowded and the service was slow but I understand it's hard to keep up with that amount of turnover! Nevertheless, the staff is always friendly and we enjoyed our experience. The chip maker is pretty interesting. You can see them making chips and pumping them out into a large container. The chips are just right crispy and firm to pick up your cheese dip, my favorite! My meal was the Pollo de Limon and it was fantastic. The chicken was thin and tender, soaked in a lemony garlic sauce. The amount of food you get for the money is a great deal. I usually get the tacos when we order takeout, so I wanted to try something different. Parking is tricky and limited but it's still worth the trip!
