Pizza has been my biggest craving during my pregnancy. Had 3 slices delivered to the Trophy golf course to eat after hole 9 to tide me and my husband by during the rest of the holes and they were phenomenal, I couldn't stop thinking about them. Today I was craving their Hawaiian pizza again and tried a different location, NOT the same. Totally upset my pregnant self. We eat at Johnny's about once a month and it's usually great, but... We placed an order online and upon arrival for pick up, it seemed as though the order had been overlooked and were told "it isn't ready". Perhaps they rushed the pizza through because we found the pizza crust flat (no rise) and completely tasteless. The toppings were less than generous for $50 worth of pizza (thanks for the five pieces of sun-dried tomatoes). It was edible, but far from enjoyable- won't be having another slice. The garlic knots were underbaked; placed on a plate, but uneaten after one bite. Pics show what three adults ate. Went here last night and the service was ok at best. Moz stick were traditional frozen then fried sticks. They were ok at best. The pizza was pretty good - got the cheese special well done. The issue came when I went to pay. They do not take Apple or Google Pay. The waitress said they have had this issue with others and they should have a sign up. I did not have another form of payment with me as I no longer carry cash or cards. I tried to get cash from Publix but they don't allow cash from tap to pay debit. Returned to the restaurant and offered to Zelle or Venmo the staff as I don't live in the area. Then a guy came from the back and was extremely rude, talking down to me and with a tone that was unacceptable. Total A-Hole! He stated I needed to pay right now (all $21.16) or figure it out. I let him know I would be happy to return tomorrow to pay as by the time I get my card from my house they would be closed. He was beyond rude and unprofessional. I walked out before it escalated further. I dropped off the money this morning. Will not return to this place. Disrespecting customers is not acceptable. read more

The food is good here. However the service is terrible. The servers were racist and put "regulars" first priority. Horrible service and people. We got discriminated and ignored. We waited over 10 minutes and the servers acted like we weren't even there. They didn't offer menu or drinks! The manager acted like it wasn't a big deal or problem. Really good! This is where we get our family fun night pizza from every Friday! When we moved from Alpharetta we were looking for NY style pizza as it used to be Brooklyn Joes for us. Their pizza is perfectly thin and the right amount of grease! My favorite is the White Pizza and then I add sausage which gives it a spicy taste and spinach! The kids stick to their pepperoni! Even though they we 30 min late with a 1 hr 10min wait time for delivery already, food was hot and delicious. I had a lasagna with a side salad and strawberry pound cake and hubby just wanted a slice of pizza. He said his was perfect and exactly what he wanted. We are glad that finally they delivered to us and they really read the notes. I asked for light sauce and cheesy lasagna and they came though. Their dessert looked amazing as well. We will definitely be ordering delivery again as long as it's not too long to be received. read more

Just a recap on a recent order this week. Due to our previous experience with a calzone at this location, the manager gave us another one with our 2nd order. This time it was much better. Though I will say, it was not as good as the Johnny's I remember having back in the mid 2000's. I guess each franchisee is slightly different, though normally that should not be the case. Nonetheless, I greatly appreciate that they were willing to fix a problem. My bit of advice, don't serve something that you would not want served to your own mother and second, as a customer, always make sure to look at your items before leaving to ensure you get what you paid for. I ordered curbside pickup online and I wasn't expecting too much to be honest. Which is exactly what happened. I ordered a califlower pizza crust because I'm on keto. The pizza was okay, not the best pizza I've had nor the worst. I've tried califlower pizza crust before at other pizza places and it tasted a lot better. Love their salads and my son loves the pizza. I use to get the deluxe pizza but had to switch to salad so I could see my feet again.

Great place! However don't order pizza by the slice!!!! Ive been a regular customer for years but in the last few months the slices (when you buy by the slice) have gotten a lot smaller (about half the size now) and if that isn't bad enough they have gotten VERY dry, they barley put any sauce on it or cheese. The staff is great & the beer on tap is cold, I like going to Johnny's HOWEVER if I you want a couple slices I'd recommend going down the street to Luigi's or Italian Pizza Pie... both are only a block away. If you want a whole pizza I have no idea since I only buy by the slice. They do have great salads & again cold beer... just the pizza by the slice sucks. 10-23-99 returned and ordered a slice and it took over 30 minutes to get it and it was burnt and flavorless! Man, what can I say. I'm just obsessed with their Calzone!!! Moved close by recently and had to hunt for my favorite Italian dish, and lucky me I found this gem!! For the size, price, ingredients, etc I really can't find any issues. I do get some smaller ones every now and then, but I guess it depends on the chef. Absolutely ridiculous! Me and my fiance were given dirty looks from the time we walked in. Our waitress didn't care much for us and she made it VERY clear. She walked away VERY quickly after ordering waters and didnt give us a chance to order an appetizer. Almost 30 minutes later and counting, she still hadn't came back to our table to take our order and we didnt get a chance to order an appetizer. First time trying Johnny's (Dacula), and to be honest the food was pretty mediocre, and really missed the mark when compared to other pizzerias in the area. This place has great pizza! I grabbed a large meat lovers to go over the weekend, and I'm telling you this pizza is excellent. Flavorful, fresh ingredients, piping hot. I ordered eggplant parm and my husband ordered a calzone. The bruschetta was god awful. Should be ashamed to call it that. It was not fresh tasting.
