Whoever made the pizza didn't take their time, 3 minutes after placing my order i got a notification that my pizza was in the oven. The sauce, cheese and toppings were all together in the middle and the the crust was about 2 inches and completely flat, by far the worst spent $22 including tip. read more

Not impressed for got why i stopped ordering from this place but quickly reminded. They do not use papa johns signature sauce. If i go to ft myers or cape i get the sweet sauce but lehigh i just don't get you. That sauce is so horrid i had to scrape topping and sauce off just to stomach the plain bread so i could eat something. Ordered the new Papadia to give it a try, along with the jalapeno poppers bites. Both were disappointing. The poppers were doughy, nowhere near uniform in size and tasted like vinegar and glue. The Papadia was okay. Not terrible, not spectacular and nowhere near the quality and caliber of Hungry Howie's sub, of which this is an obvious attempt to copy. Papa John's may have a better pizza and you pay for it, but Hungry Howie's is safe and gives you much more value for your dollar. I hate to admit it, but this is the first time Papa John's has let me down. It feels like being betrayed by an old friend. At least the Mt. Dew was reliable. read more

Pizza is terrible. Ordered extra large and a good 2 inches all around the edge had no cheese or toppings on it and the toppings were a disappointment since it hardly had any. Ordered with everything and you could hardly see any green peppers pepperoni etc. It's like they used what they would on an 8 inch pizza. And the dough they use is super sweet, hated that too. Will never buy another pizza at this Miami Springs Papa John's, it's awful. And yes, I should've taken a photo ... but why bother, I'm not going back. read more

But by writing this review, maybe -- just maybe -- someone locally will avoid this place and spend their money at any number of surrounding, customer friendly, top-notch restaurants that offer pizza. Six days ago, Hurricane Irma wreaked havoc in many areas of Florida. As you can imagine: lives were lost, dwellings were damaged or completely destroyed, many stores are still closed and the few that are open close early due to curfews in effect, millions are still without electricity and must boil their water, basic necessities that we all take for granted like water, ice, bread and gasoline (not to mention phone service) require patience (waiting in lines) and a whole lot of lucky timing (that you'll just happen to see a truck unloading, or the station doesn't run out of gas just as you finally get your turn at the pump). Even though I detest the prolonged suffering, terror and excruciating pain inflicted on animals by factory farms and slaughterhouses, last night (9/15) I thought I'd treat my elderly neighbor to a pizza...you know, a hot meal for a change ~ especially since he wasn't sure what he had left to eat once I dropped him off (we spent well over an hour at the Cricket store trying to resolve the problem with his cell; by then, the supermarket had already closed early.) It's important to mention that every employee I spoke to at this Papa John's -- from the cashiers, to the food prep people to a delivery person -- was hot, tired, working their fingers to the bone and YET: were still pleasant and managed to smile. When they called my name, I wanted to make sure it was what I had ordered. OMG! There were 2 tiny pieces of onion, HALF of a single pepperoni slice and a couple of sausage crumbles. But what really shocked me was the size: I had paid $12.72 for a 12" pizza, and what I got instead would have fit perfectly in an 8" box! I wish I had the presence of mind to take a picture to prove my point, but I really was dumbfounded. All I managed to say was that this wasn't what I paid for; I paid for a 12" inch; this is the size of a personal pizza; I should get what I paid for. Just then, the manager rushed by and said: "well, the dough is fresh, so it shrinks a little!" A LITTLE? Are you kidding me? And how stupid does he think we are? I watched the size of the dough balls that the employees flattened and formed one after the other, and it seemed strange to me that so many people (most with children) would be waiting 30+ minutes for a personal sized pizza. Now I know why! This ______ manager was deliberately ripping off his customers! I feel sorry for all of the families who got home and could only feed SOME of their kids. Since I repeated that this wasn't what I paid for, he said: "Look, we're doing the best we can." Yeah; to cheat your customers (who are already going through a difficult time) and make extra money, you greedy, heartless ________. Manager: "What do want? You want to wait another 30 minutes for a new one?" Me: "No, cause that'll just 'shrink' too. Can't you at least give me a partial refund?" Save your money,they make you wait 2 hrs and then pizza is cold, they forgot my drink, gave me 3$ for the inconvenience of not having a drink but if I have to run out myself what sense does it make to pay 10$ tip and order delivery if I have to go out myself anyway? I used to like Papa John's, but I had some recent bad experiences and wrote to customer service (3/17/13), who said that someone would get back to me. They never did. I wrote to them again on 4/11/13, and nobody responded. I had complained that the order of chicken poppers were ridiculously undersized for the most part. See photos that I uploaded. Papa Johns is my favorite pizza place. But due to their horrid delivery times and absolutely awful staff I frequent them less and less. This store seems to be on a roll with bad service. I only order from them once every 6 months or so because every time I do they cannot get the food out in a reasonable time. 20m after they open I place an order, 65m. That seems pretty crazy for just opening but okay, I'll bite. Perhaps they've gotten better. They make the pizza immediately and then it sits there for over 90m before it leaves to be delivered. Driver shows up, it has now been nearly 2 hours after I ordered mind you, I open the box and the pizza is barely warm, cheese is hard, exactly what you would see from a pizza that is 2 hours old. I told him I do not want it, they need to remake it. He then has the audacity to lie to my face saying he watched it come out of the oven when I know for a fact this is not how they're set up. I told him to call his manager. The kid got in his car and just drove away. So now I'm on the phone with the store. A young lady picks up, I ask to speak to the manager and she says she is. I proceed to tell her my issue and she offers to remake it and tells me its going to be 90 more minutes before they can get back out here. I tell her that is unacceptable, I want a hot, fresh pizza, not another warm old one. She then argues with me that they can't put my order ahead of the other 6 they have there and I was floored. She then asked me if I would like to speak to the manager to which I replied, didn't you tell me you're a manager? So you too lied to me. No there's not, I placed my order 2 hours ago, you're telling me that you can't figure this out? She then goes into a rant that they don't have enough people there to get it out faster. First of all, why would you make excuses to a customer about how you're failing at your job. They don't want to hear it. You're a "manager". Do you know what that means. You're supposed to manager things, things like people, quality, schedules. You know, those things that impact your business and customers. I told her back up, I just want my pizza, hot, fresh and not in 2 hours. Seems pretty simple, it takes 8m, to cook a pizza, send the driver right back out as soon as he returns, they're 15m away. She tells me she will not. When I told her what managers are supposed to be doing and how awful she was she then asked if I wanted to speak with the manager?!!!!!! What have I been doing the last 3 minutes? You can not be serious. His name is Luis and he will be in tomorrow. They should literally shut this place down. The people who are attempting to run it do not belong there. They have no customer or listening skills. They're clearly flying by the seats of their pants and they're being lead, which is laughable because there are clearly no leaders in those 4 walls, by incompetent people whom all think they are managers but clearly do not have any traits of leaders. Ordered a pizza at 5pm on a Thursday. Estimated wait time was 119-129 minutes. Pizza was out for delivery at 5:17 pm. Didn't receive delivery until 6:07pm. Pizza was out for 55 minutes and arrived soggy and cold. Never again. Would give a zero star if possible. read more

Ordered a pizza for my 70 year old grandmother who can't leave to get herself food because of the pandemic and the food arrived with the wrong toppings, raw, and inedible. The sauce tasted old and the dough wasn't cooked at all. When I called and asked to speak to a manager the manager refused to send a new order or issue a refund and said 25% off the next order was the best they could do. Why would I want to reorder from here after this? When I asked for the manager's name she refused to give her name to me because she said she wasn't going to lose her job over this because she clearly knew she was doing something wrong. Terrible, terrible service! The girl on the phone was INCREDIBLY rude, picked up the phone and said "hold on" when she finally picked back up the only way I knew was the music stopped playing.. She didn't tell me my total, was constantly interrupting me & just was an unpleasant person to speak with. I haven't had Papa John's pizza in quite a few years. The reason being that the quality went downhill compared to what it was, and my taste buds matured to more complex desires. Recently however, my love was reunited by the location in Lehigh Acres. The pizza came delivered within an half hour, was piping hot, and the dough and toppings were impeccable.
