Absolutely ridiculous, my card was charged and no one at the store had a clue! Including the "so called" manager that wouldn't even give me her first name...what in the world is happening with these young idiots we have working in fast food now???? The "manager's" only response to me was " you'll have to call the district manager tomorrow at 8 AM... meanwhile I have to go to the bank tomorrow to reset my debit card because of the fraud charge. Ordered a pizza from them last night. Not the high quality pizza I was expecting that I usually get from Papa Johns. I got The Works. The toppings were all just thrown on there missing a lot of the dough. It hardly had any flavor, like they skimped on the sauce. The fluffy crust that I'm used to having was flat and hard, like it was an old crust. I emailed them and I have not heard anything from them. Papa John's we learned wasn't too far from us and our visiting Grandchildren were hungry. Plus, we were two really tired Grandparents to go to far out. Ordered two Large Pepperoni Pizzas with one 1/2 of one only Cheese for the 4 of them.. Nothing left, so it was in their typical food group of items they all agree on. Fast service, quick pick up. I ordered delivery for the first time about a couple weeks ago with 3 items: Papadia, Jalapeño Poppers and 2 liter....what was delivered was the Papadia and garlic knots. I called and they were nice to credit my account for the drink and poppers. Well, today I came in to get my free food and ordered another Papadia cause they are good. Side note: I noticed they had messed up someone else's order as I walked in. Anyway, they said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I sat in my car for 12 minutes and came back inside and they said the screens were messing up and they were still making my food. 20 minutes later I got my food. It sucks that this is the only pizza place that delivers to my place out here, but I won't be ordering from here again. They can't get there crap together. read more

Papa John's used to our favorite pizza; however, the last four times we have order delivery pizza the wait has been over 2 hours. One time I called to check on the delivery, after waiting 2 hours, and was told it would be yet another hour before our pizza would deliver. We cancelled the order and ordered from another Resturant in town. Tonight the same thing happened, I ordered on line and received a message that our pizza would deliver in 115 to 124 minutes. I called the store to ask about this and was told the estimate was correct. The young lady on the phone was apologetic, but that did nothing to change the outrageous delivery time. I cancelled the order and am writing this review in a restaurant across the street while I wait for my pizza, which they tell me will be ready in 20 minutes. The Papa John's pizza tastes good, so if you don't mind waiting then you should place your order, otherwise I would order my pizza from one of the other fine establishments in town. read more

Too bad you have to even give a star. I ordered a pizza for delivery around 7 this evening, I usually go pick my pizzas up but I have a roll of carpet sticking out my back window. The time said 112-119 minutes. I get a call at 8:30 from the store asking if I had gotten my pizza. I looked outside to make sure I hadn't and I said no. The young lady apologized and said they would make me one right then. I said it hasn't even been made? She said yes ma'am but the driver took it home with him. This Papa Johns is one of the worst I've ever ordered from. And the customer service seems is not the best. They didn't add cheese to half the pizza. When we called to let them know, they said we had to change the settings on the app to add cheese...we ordered over the phone. I placed my order online for delivery. Once paid the wait time was quoted for about 2 hours. So I called to switch my order to pick up which didn't bother me, we just wanted to be lazy! The guy was super nice. He let me know they were just really busy. I completely understood. I asked when my order would be ready and he said 45 minutes. The phone call was at 7:14 and we only live about 5 minutes away. We left around 7:50. Pull up and this is what we see from our car: papa johns employee sitting on the curb smoking, a parked car with the papa John's delivery sign on top, 5 employees inside not doing much. We started to walk in and a girl employee ran out side to sit on the curb pouting, a guy ran after her asking what was wrong. We walked in and the cashier had her back turned, talking to another guy. She didn't know we were there. The guy finally stopped the conversation to help us. They were nice but for them to be "so busy" that it would take two hours for delivery seemed like BS with all the employees we saw doing nothing They didn't seem busy at all what so ever. I understand a lot can change in 45 minutes being worked in restaurants for 10+ years but for them to quote a 2 hour delivery seemed impossible with all that we saw pulling up. So we get our food and our mistake for not checking our food. The pizza was supposed to be half pepperoni but was all pepperoni. Not a big deal and I wouldn't have waited for a new one anyways. The buffalo wings barely had sauce on them. I mean like they were just drizzled with sauce and not tossed. And what really irritated me was the pizza was cold. The garlic sauce is always melted when I get papa johns since the pizza is so hot. Not melted at all. They shouldn't have quoted me 45 minutes clearly. On top of that I tipped ahead of time for delivery and they didn't take that off my bill but took the delivery charge off. I feel they should have asked. I also should have check the receipt before I left. We will never go back to this location which is a bummer bc it's so close to our house and papa johns is my fave pizza. I'll have to find a new fave pizza place close by. And also there was a little boy (I assume the cashiers son bc she was holding him as we drove off) was running around the restaurant. And the "manager" did not have a hat on. I'm for sure knit picking a few things I could have looked past had my whole experience not sucked. However, this afternoon, the heavily foreign accented guy on the phone spent 5 minutes trying to understand my address. Then he insisted that they could not deliver to our address. I love Papa John's Pizza. But this location in Old Town Magnolia IS THE WORST!!! I've never once gotten a pizza on time in the two and a half years I've ordered there. Every time I go to pick up the pizza (about five minutes after the scheduled time) they haven't even started making it yet. The final straw was when I decided I'm going to just order delivery. I called every 15 minutes after the scheduled time. Each time they said it was out for delivery (no it wasn't). Each time they said they spoke with the driver who said he was very close (no they didn't. And no, he wasn't). They just plain lied to me. After being late by an hour and a half, I called and told them to cancel the order. They said they would. They never did. I had to call my credit card company to reverse the charge. I complained to corporate about this location. I got a message from this location asking if they could make it right. I said, ok, I'm listening. What can you do? Never got a response back. Never even got an apology. When they asked, they didn't even apologize. They only said they heard we had a problem with our order. I guess the implication was that it wasn't their fault. I go to the next store down the road now (for me an extra 7 or 8 minutes). These guys have never failed me. Always on time. Always courteous. Great pizza. I'm never going back to the Old Town Magnolia store again. read more

We ordered online and the order was wrong. We called the store and spoke to Zee, the manager. He was very kind and offered to fix the meal for us. He additionally gave us his personal cell number and offered to buy us a free meal the next time we wanted to order. My wife and I were seriously considering not ordering from this location again, given a local pizza place has opened and has provided quality food and service. However, due to Zee's excellent customer service, my wife and I will continue to order pizza from this location. read more
