DID NOT appreciate the pizza cashier more less implying that my husband and I are liars in regarding to whether the pizza order had previously been paid in cash earlier in the day. It was an order that was preordered and prepaid and the cashier did not want to believe me or my husband who was on the phone. Even after the manager had seen where CASH was written on the order, she even questioned him on whether he was really sure if I should be allowed to take the pizzas. She acted like I was stealing. I ordered online, and have a receipt of what i ordered, which shows half cheese half pepperoni. they gave me a full pepperoni pizza, which i don't eat meat so now i cannot eat it at all. when this happened before i called and the pizza was remade for free. this time, after saying he would remake it, the shift lead told me i would have to pay, and that it wasn't a mistake on their end so they won't remake it or refund me. read more

I enjoy Papa John's pizza and bread sticks and choose it over Pizza Hut all the time. My favorite is a BBQ thin crust pizza with square cut. Each piece is crispy and reheats well the next day using a nonstick pan. My hubby's fav is the stuffed crust. We both like that the bread sticks stay soft even when reheated. My only complaint is that the thin crust could use more toppings, it's a little too sparse, which is annoying. read more

And things were going to well, too... The last few times we've ordered from this place, we've been finding things just aren't as good as the first time we got food from them. I order my old go-to, the Deluxe Cheeseburger, and we get a pie absolutely covered in tomato hunks and pickle slices- whatever happened to the pickle chunks that made this pizza so great?- and the actual burger was pretty darn spartan all over the pizza. There wasn't as much cheese, nor was there as much burger sauce. I hope this place can get back to where it used to be, because where it used to be was right on top. But until then, we might be seeing what Pizza Hut in Paw Paw has to offer for a while until we see if this place can get its proverbial groove back. I'd say stop skimping on sauce, stop skimping on beef toppings- it's supposed to be a cheeseburger pizza, not a cheese and pickle and tomato sandwich pizza- and things should pick up again. run from this papa John's! absolutely horrible pizza. they can't even get the ingredients right, I thought that's why they have on their web site, left half right half or whole. total soggy mess and no cheese! boneless chicken wings were very soggy, yuck. everything went into the trash. $45 later we are all hungry. read more

Picked up pizza and brought it home. They made the wrong pizza for our order (we ordered 5 pizzas). When We called, the manager said they would give us a free pizza next time. I said that we wanted a replacement because my son will not eat the pizza with beef on it. She told me the replacement order would go at the end of the line to be prepared...at least 40 minutes. The manager was very rude and told me I was being unreasonable for getting upset that out other 4 pizzas will sit for 40 minutes getting cold while we waited for a replacement. read more

Literally have ordered from here for years, the same items, always happy with the service. Until, I received breadsticks that were 1/3 the size they normally are. I called to tell them not make a huge fuss. I already ordered more food because of the lack of food previously. While putting the phone down they talked unprofessionally about the situation amongst each other, then gave a solution that didn't help whatever. But really made me absolutely disgusted was the fact that someone from there called the police for a welfare check on my home and family, complained of possibility of DRUG USE. WOW! I literally work with children for my JOB! My kids were awake at 9:40 because they sent breadsticks that were nuggets and then had to wait for more food! Absolutely disgusted that they did this. After 5 years of 2-4x a month going there I am NEVER using them again. Over a complaint on small BREADSTICKS! They are on drugs! Not my family. read more

It had been a while so thought we'd try Papa John's again. 80% of the toppings on my pizzas were all in the middle, not very evenly spread out. Overall the pizza was so-so at best. I ordered the garlic Parmesan wings and while pulling the door open to leave (carrying four boxes) all the buttery garlic sauce leaked out of the paper the wings were wrapped in and went all over the front of my shirt. Went back in for napkins and they were nice enough to wrap the wings in foil. No apologies just an "oh". Got home and was surprised I didn't have another incident with the garlic bites since they were soaked in butter also and was just about to leak out of the box. Hey Papa John's, why not wrap all your items that are buttery in foil? Not impressed, won't be back. read more

I strongly advise you to avoid this particular branch. The past two times I ordered food arrived late, cold and both times, they had to go back for forgotten items. TONIGHT, they were late, manager called me and said driver gone, but your food still here. We will make yo new. The second time THEY FORGOT THE DRINKS AGAIN! Its not like there aren't other options, so I'll be going with Pizza Hut for delivery and for take out, there's Mancinoes across the street. FYI, no apology from Manager, no class.
