As soon as you walk through the door you realize their AC is out. I mean it was only 96° outside and but when you walk through the door you realize it's hotter inside. And by the way the swamp cooler was rigged up behind the counter with a dryer vent tube zip tied to it it's likely been that way for a while. Other than one lady (I'll get to her later) the oldest employee couldn't have been older than 16. The girl that took my order had the appearance of an actor of one of the earliest suspense horror films, Black Christmas. I don't want to be unfair by stating her appearance, she was not unattractive just that she jumped through a 50 year time warp and landed in a hell hole. She was also very pleasant and professional taking my order. And the boy making the sandwiches with his purple long hair just seemed to fit right in, posibly also stepping through a time warp from a film somewhere between The Longest Yard and Porky's. Got my cup and went to the drink station. The sweet tee canister was leaking at an erie and hypnotic steady flow almost as if in slow motion and ponding on the counter which seemed so hygienic that even the bacteria vacated. At that time the deli scene in Texas Chainsaw Massacre looked like best practice of food safety. This time I just couldn't let it go. I've been to many Subways and never feel like I've been cheated on a salad, most stuff the bowl so full of vegetables and lettuce that it's hard to get the lid on. This Subway you ask for extra lettuce on a veggie salad and after all other vegetables are added, the bowl is only half full. You are paying $10 for a salad for crying out loud and they can't even fill it up. Then take the audacity to ask for a tip, any how that's really the only complaint that I have is the greed of this particular Subway. Subway had it wrapped up on Sub sandwiches for a long time but they need to step up their game with places like Firehouse Subs and Jimmy John's in the competition.
