We decided to go for the foot long BOGO special tonight. What we ended up with is 1 foot long…read moresandwich for almost $19.00. We ordered on the Subway app for delivery. The sandwich (1 sandwich) was left on the ground next to the door. No knock to alert us that the delivery was made. When I saw only 1 sandwich I tried over and over to call the store but never got an answer. I got in the car and went to the store. I told the guy behind the counter that I only got 1 of the sandwiches. He said "that's not our fault - you ordered from Door Dash". I said no I ordered on your app. He then said that they didn't have the ingredients to make the other sandwich and it was Door Dash's responsibility to let us know. I said that I still need a foot long sandwich of some kind. He said I can only make you a 6". When I asked why only a 6" and he said that's what you ordered. I put my receipt on the counter to show him and he said "see it's a 6". I said look at that again it says 12" #6 (the Boss). He then said I had to leave the store because I was getting loud. To be honest, I did get very heated at this point. As I left he was calling the police. I guess even when you have written proof, the customer isn't right.

This Subway could be good, but it's not. I have been going to this subway for about the past 5…read moreyears. I will say that it's not the place or the ingredients itself, it is 110% the staff. There was a guy working there for awhile who seemed to actually care about making folks dinner awesome but he is no longer there. The 2 girls that were there aren't inappropriate or ghetto or even unprofessional, but they were very short, rude, and non personable. They obviously were trying to keep from pulling out fresh ingredients since they had to go to the back to "make more chicken" since they were supposedly busy right before we got there, even though there were no cars or people to be seen. Their lettuce bin was basically empty when I asked for lettuce and she scraped as much out as possible and put a rudely thin amount on there as to not grab another bin. My girlfriend also wanted lettuce and the same was done but this time she was asked to grab another bin to add more lettuce than her insulting amount. I asked for salt and pepper and the girl sprinkles it on one side of the sub and put it back, then asked what else I wanted on there. It wasn't until my dirty look of "WTF" that she grabbed the salt and pepper and put some on the other half because she knew what she did wrong. They put the skimpiest amount of anything on there, and don't get me wrong, I know there are portions they need to try to give out, and I know I can ask for extra and they will put it on there without issue, but how dare you slap 5-7 olives on a foot long and move on. My girl's daughter got a turkey-bacon sub, and for some reason they put the bacon on one side. Also, I'm not OCD but make sure the meat and cheese is evenly distributed across the sub. I'm sure the employees don't make a killer wage, I get it, I'm not expecting perfection and I know I'm not at a 5 star restaurant. But you're making people's dinner, and after a hard day's work and a family that is hungry, a poor experience is the last thing you want. This is unfortunately a common experience there. There are good Subway Restaurants with people who at least pretend to enjoy their job and make the experience a great one, but this is unfortunately not one of them. Rarely do we eat there because of these issues. That's my 0.02 cents.

A quick stop off the highway, which turned out to be a decent meal…read more We stopped in for specific things: pulled pork fries and sandwich, and a salad. And we left satisfied. Now, I am suspicious of barbecue anywhere, even places that claim to do it right. You just never know. But I am especially leery of 'cue from non-'cue places. And fast food 'cue? Yuck. But, Sweetie tried the fries last week and said the pulled pork wasn't bad, so I figured I'd give it a shot. And it was pretty darn good, for what it was. Blows the McRib out of the water, though that's not saying much. But even a more upscale place like Bob Evans, et al, sometimes gives barbecue a shot and falls short of this. It was on a good bun, and there was plenty of meat. Tasty meat. Not oversauced meat, as happens far too often even at BBQ places. It had a mild smoke flavor, and some seasoning, and you could pick from three sauces. I tried them all, and while I figured smoky would be the safe bet I ended up preferring the spicy, with sweet a close second. Sweetie's fries had the same meat, and some cheese, and she went with sweet sauce. They were good, but Wendy's was more stingy with the meat on them. Her Caesar salad was fine, with fresh greens, but the croutons were meh and the ginger citrus dressing packed a wallop of garlic- good, but overwhelmed any other flavors. Now, I won't be going out of my way for pulled pork or anything else here. But if a Wendy's is your only option, or you come with a group, there is at least something decent to be had here. The place itself is clean, the service is good, orders came up fast, and we left happy. What more do you want from fast food?
