I went online through the app and I placed an order at 3:00 this afternoon to have a small order delivered to my house 3 hours later and looked at my tracking because the pizza still not here and it's been well over 30 minutes past the requested time and find out that the pizza have not even been made yet. I'd give negative stars if I could. I am so, VERY disappointed, as Papa Johns used to be my favorite "fast food" pizza, I was already pissed off b/c they will not allow crust flavor unless you buy a large pizza (or bigger), price gauging... tricking people into spending more (apparently if your household is 1-2 people who buy small-medium pizzas are not worthy of all their toppings and special crust options. More price gauging they no longer offer a supreme pizza or vegetarian (all the vegetables - they now only offer a tomato/spinach Alfredo pizza) if you want supreme or vegetarian you have to "make your own" thus paying more by having to add each topping to get to a supreme or "real" veggie pizza, and apparently they no longer offer mushrooms. I will NEVER order Papa John's again!! Domino's has really improved their pizza and they offer a lot of incentives and free pizza offers, and a very diverse menu, everyone should check out Dominos. They will be my go to for fast food pizza!!! read more

Horrible experience last night. I placed an order at 7 online which stated delivery would be 41-50 min. I was completely fine with that .... After about 50 more min I receive a text that our order is delayed. I understand there is a shortage of employees but if you know a delivery will be late then don't have the prepared pizzas sitting around on a warmer. I placed an order around 5:30pm today online and the screen showed 34-44 minutes delivery time. 6:15 I called the store to check the status of the delivery. I was told I was the next delivery going out as soon as the next driver showed up. 6:45 I called back checking on my delivery again and was informed that my order was out for delivery. I call back and was chewed out by a female stating that she could not control the deliveries and that my order was free. At 7:30, I called back again to see if it had been thrown away, delivered to the wrong place! My order arrived at 7:35, and the fact that it was free means nothing as it was cold and soggy. I would like to say that this was the first time but last week we placed an order and it never came. When we called to check on it, they informed us that they had no delivery available and we could go pick up our order that had been sitting there ready for who knows how long. Placed an order tonight, 2 pizzas and a 2 liter, simple enough, right? Driver showed up and had a dry erase marker for me to sign the receipt with so I gave him a pen. After he drove I realized the 2 liter of Pepsi was missing from the order. I called the store and when I addressed my issue with the manager he initially denied that I even ordered it, I told him no, I'm looking at my receipt and its right there, he said he'd send the driver back out. After waiting close to an hour I called back to tell them the driver hadn't come back out yet, 30 more minutes, almost 2 hours after my pizza was delivered my warm 2 liter of Pepsi showed up. I had ordered a pizza previously from them, and the seal was broken and bugs were in my food. I was beyond mortified so I need a day to process and I called to see if they would replace it. The manager continued to ask if I took pictures and shamed me for even complaining. I offered to pick up because I no longer trust I to be deleivered and was shamed by the manager so I hung up. I had an order at 5:14pm on Friday January 19th 2024 it was a carry out since I knew they were short on drivers from a previous time that I ordered, it's says that it will be ready at 5:28-5:38 so we leave at 5:30 and arrive at 5:38 we show the person at the front desk the carry out order and he looks confused and doesn't seem to know what he's doing, he looks at some of the orders and says it will be a 10 minute wait, I start to look around the store and realize there's a whole new staff no one looked in proper fast food attire and some people were not wearing gloves, a lot of them were standing around. By this point it's been 15 minutes and I go up to ask again they tell me 20 minutes, I'm getting pissed so 30 minutes past and people who were at the store when we got there were still waiting on their food which is crazy!, I don't get my food till 6:50pm, and keep in mind I ordered 2 pizza and a box of garlic bread sticks, I'm sure everyone knows what the garlic bread sticks look like, well these looked terrible no garlic and barley any sauce, it looks like the took the garlic sauce that comes ok the side and dumped it on there, I had asked to speak to the manager, or if the GM was there. Apparently the supervisor for the day was there, and I asked for them to remake it, or at least give me a new one. He said he could give me a voucher for a new bread six but this is already happened before with the previous order which I wasn't too mad about but this one made me pissed because I had already read it so long and so many people were waiting too, he couldn't give me it so I asked for a full refund which was $19.45 he also gave me a 2 L drink, but that does not make up for all the people who had had to wait longer than I did. read more

Horrible experience overall. I know this is a large pizza chain and this will not amount to anything, but I still wanted to share. They first took forever to even take my order. They then promised 40 minutes to get it delivered. 2 hours later they finally called because they were about to deliver my pizza and couldn't find my address. I live 5 minutes from the restaurant. They took another 20 minutes to show up, at which point the pizza was Luke warm at best, it was wrong, and tasted disgusting. I told them that I wanted to not pay for the pizza that was wrong. My fiancé is allergic to dairy and we Specifically got a pizza without cheese so she could eat it. We obviously couldn't even eat the pizza. They then called and offered me two free pizzas the next time I ordered to make up for the mistake. I took them up on the offer. The new owners and management and employees are all extremely better than the ones before. They're doing a good job up there. I really can't believe I've never had a thin crust pizza from Papa John's before, last week I ordered one and man it was pretty damn good. I haven't ordered from Papa John's in years, and I've never had this one in 5+ years in the area. A coupon that I was able to use on top of a website promo gave me a reason to grab it for lunch. 2 large 2-topping pizzas and cheese bread for like $16. Sold. I had to place the order online to get the discounts to work together, and the earliest it would allow pickup was 11:30 despite being open at 10:30. I called the store a few minutes after they opened and asked if it could be done any earlier, and was told "No problem. Give me about 20 minutes." When I showed up, she had it waiting for pickup already. Food was excellent (like normal compared to other chain places nearby despite it normally being a bit more money), but the service was perfect over the phone and in the restaurant. Only ding is their parking lot stinks and is made worse with construction. You can either do a u-turn down the street to get in or make a left onto the street that their building sits beside and walk through the holes and mud to get to the front. read more

To start....Taller older gentleman working there with balding head decided to rub the sweat off of his head and then put his cap back on and continue to make pizzas was enough for me to be completely grossed out ! This is owned by an inexperienced person in the pizza business. It's quite obvious because every time I have gone there there's been an issue that has resulted with him giving me a free two liter of soda. One particular time the girl at the register decided to help people on the phone rather than allowing me to pay for my pizza which was sitting on the counter getting cold. Since the owner was clueless, I made a comment myself stating "next time you might want to put the people on the phone on hold and allow me to pay for my pizza "and I was quite aggravated! I really wish this would have been a Jet's Pizza that would have opened rather than a Papa John's. There's a lot of other options for pizza in the area that are similar and I really don't think this guy's going to make it. Not only does the staff need to be better trained but the pizza isn't that good either. it's hard for me to rate a Papa John's this poorly but if you don't know anything about the pizza business then you really shouldn't own a Papa John's or any other pizza place. Not that that that should matter but the owner is of Indian descent and just doesn't have a clue. He seems nice but he should open something he's more in tune with ....NOT a pizza place Compare this pizza to what you would get at the Papa John's on 78 in Garland ....They are hands-down so much better than this place. I'd almost rather drive to Garland to get the Papa John's then go 3 miles to get this pizza. Just plain sad! The ordering was easy enough. But they put the pepperoni under the cheese; who does that?! My daughter asked for pepperoni pizza for the first time and the way they made the pizza ruined our evening. First time I've ordered from a Papa John's in a while and won't be ordering from them again. And when I asked about the pepperoni at the store she just said under cheese, no explanation as to why.
