I ordered via DoorDash and it was ready in about 10 minutes. These wings are so good!!!! 10x better than wing stop, which is where I'd usually get wings. I got the 6 hot wings with fries and asked for them extra wet. Their hot is pretty hot, I would probably get mild the next time

    The fried rice was bomb.

The wings are ok , their not breaded wings more like wingstop wings . If I go back I'll probably get the philly , it looked very enticing. The place is small about three tables . I took mine to. I wouldnt eat there , from what I've seen and heard they are always packed. So if you were to eat there you would probably be annoyed about how many people come in and just stand there waiting to order. I also say that to say the building is small and crowded. I also tried to place an over the phone order but the line was busy for like 15 min . We were told by a friend that they will ignore the phone if they are too busy. Its unfortunate that they do that because we almost said nvm we will try another time because we couldnt place an order. Honestly it's just chicken wings it's the rice that was the star of the meal. The fries were good unlike wingstop they were crunchy and soff.

The cheesesteak was good. I ordered the combo that comes with wings, fries and drink to go. Dine-in is not available at this time. The wings went to my hub, he wanted lemon pepper. He wasn't impressed. Said they were overcooked. Said that the ranch had too much mayo...reminded him of tarter sauce. My cheesesteak lacked sufficient onion, mushroom and peppers. It did have a good creamy cheese flavor and a good amount of tender meat. The bread was fresh and tasty. The crinkle fries were hot and we liked the seasoning they add.

6 piece Lemmon pepper wings and Philly combo comes with ranch!

Their food is our favorite!! The lemon pepper wings are the bomb!! I love the chicken fried rice combo with wings but my husbands favorite is the Philly!! Don't been fools by the sign or building it's a locals favorite super busy at lunch time but worth it!!

This was yummy! I would say go for the cheesesteaks and the fried rice. Not particularly warm and inviting. Wings were average!

I went with the meatloaf since I kept seeing people call it the best thing on the menu, and they were right. It came topped with that house glaze and a pile of mashed potatoes, and it honestly tasted like something my grandma would have put in front of me on a Sunday. We also tried the pot roast, which was fall apart tender, and made room for the cobbler at the end even though we were stuffed. Big portions, fair prices, and the service was warm without being over the top. There is a sweet little story behind the name too if you flip the menu over. This has quietly become one of our regular stops in McKinney and I do not see that changing, especially with the great service and atmosphere!

The taco salad was just okay , my husband liked it more than I did, but it wasn't something I'd personally crave. The burger, however, was great ! The meat was cooked just right , juicy and tender. The French fries were very flavorful, though slightly on the oily side. For dessert, I tried the cheesecake brûlée and really enjoyed it. The top was nicely burnt, just the way it should be. I also ordered the sangria , I have to say it wasn't really my taste, but my husband liked it since it was on the stronger side. Overall, a good experience and I wouldn't be opposed to coming back .

While waiting for our table we wondered up to the 3rd floor. They had live music. The place was jumping up there. We are going to have to look up who is going to be playing and have another married date night. The only downside to the evening was unfortunately the host at the front door. Once seated we waited nearly an hour for the food, and it arrived with one good plate, and a $55 "Wagyu" which was a small, twisted piece of sinewed, chewy meat with cold, soggy veggies and mash. Sent it back, and my wife was finished by the time the replacement came - which again, was about as 'Wag'yu as a pup's tail. They kindly removed cost of my meal, and we got anniversary desert. Nice building and staff working hard - just set your expectations accordingly.

I am not usually a dark beer guy but the server talked me into their schwarzbier and I ended up ordering a second one. If you are into porters and stouts they have you covered, and if you lean lighter there is plenty on the board too. The food held its own right alongside the beer. I went with the burger and it hit exactly the way a good pub burger should, juicy with a solid char and fries that actually get finished. My wife ordered the pappardelle on a recommendation from the table next to us and she was not sharing much of it, which tells you everything. Perfect hangout spot whether you're with family, friends, or just grabbing lunch solo. Prices are reasonable and competitive with similar spots. The downtown McKinney location is ideal and easy walking distance to other shops and restaurants, so no need to keep driving around. Food was great. The burger was juicy and flavorful even well done. The salmon was also well done with crispy edges and a slab of butter that melted right over it great flavor. Hoping that butter option is available for the steak because that's next on my list. Sides were solid too. Only thing I wasn't big on was the fries. They're super thin, so they were crispy but had a slightly hard, borderline stale texture. Just my opinion though. overall still a great experience. Definitely coming back. We love downtown McKinney and so many establishments have that southern charm, friendly service, and just love people. We always bring in a group of paying patrons. Early on we felt there was a clickish vibe, but never thought anything about it. We make friends everywhere, since we are travelers . Last few months we noticed a shift, bartender ruder, lack of service, the regulars shifting their gaze as if something was wrong. Last night ended that for us, and I'm sure they will be thrilled. Our bonus son chose to come here for his celebratory event. We invited a variety of people we knew, local talents, professionals, and family. Hateful comments about having a few balloons and party hats and how "you BETTER clean all that UP, I'm not doing it." We were treated with disdain. No service, each person had to get our own menu when we were ready to order, , and silverware after food was served, no one took our drink orders, when we went to the bar-our tabs were closed after each drink order. The bartender, Chevon, (who is always there) was rude and ugly to our whole group and to those she didn't even know was in our group. The new DJ, (Shawn) skipped over our friend twice. Chevron (bartender) who didn't know the person she was speaking to was my sister, said "I hate that guy, all he sings is rock songs." I mean... it karaoke. And that guy she's talking about has been bringing a group of people here for over a year. So carry on the "high school drama" there are a ton of places in McKinney that are lovely and welcoming. When you are hateful to singers, doctors, nurses, business owners, and veterans... that news will travel fast. And as rude and ugly as this review is, it's not near as rude or ugly as we were treated, individually and as a group. If you are gonna be bias to people, you don't need to be serving them. It's sad, because I know Karen and what Spoons means to her and her family. I hope they clean house and start over in the back. FYI (Shawn was a really nice DJ, he was so kind to people celebrating others.) But other than that, I wouldn't recommend The Garage for any new Collin County resident, any bridal party, bachelor party, or group celebrating anything... you can DM me and I'll give you a personal list of plenty of places to go. Many of them walking distance.
