The hash brown were a complete travesty however, brown and slathered in grease so badly they were soggy. They were cold and looked like they had been scrapped off the bottom of my shoe. I seriously wondered if the cook was screwing with me. When he wasn't insulting me with his cooking he spent the entire time at the counter flirting with my waitress, trying to convince her to leave her boyfriend and shack up with him. It was an interesting conversation to eavesdrop on, but not appropriate on any level as I really didn't need to hear about how good he was in bed. I had also switched my order to the Grand Slam because I didn't want the Super Bird as they were out of tomatoes. I decided to give it a second try a few days later, and the food was much better. Unfortunately I had to listen to a waitress ripping apart customers for not tipping her enough. This conversation between her and co-worker took place loudly across the entire restaurant. It was so disrespectful that it made ME want to tip her badly! I get being upset about a tip, but you have that conversation in private, not across the entire restaurant as it comes across as trying to shame current customers into tipping better. I did not go back a third time and will skip this joint the next time I am in town, despite how convenient it is.
