I actually went back to this establishment a few times because I wanted to give Stout's Irish Pub the benefit of the doubt. I thought maybe the first experience was just an off day for the waitresses. Unfortunately, after going back, I realized it wasn't a one-time thing. Each time, I've found the service to be rude, dismissive, and generally unwelcoming. There seems to be a select group of staff who are very close with certain customers and will spend their time talking with and befriending them, while other customers are seemingly ignored. I've also noticed staff spending a lot of time on their phones or sitting at the bar instead of checking on customers. The overall attitude from some of the staff gives off major "mean girl" energy. It's especially noticeable because there was a newer staff member during my most recent visit who was genuinely kind, attentive, and good at her job. I really enjoyed interacting with her, and she honestly stood out from the rest in the best way. The food is just okay and, in my opinion, lacks flavor. If you order it to go, expect it to be pretty soggy by the time you get home. I gave this place multiple chances because I really wanted to like it, but unfortunately the repeated poor service and mediocre food have completely turned me off. I won't be returning.

Either way it's unpleasant. The corners of some of the tables are disgusting, cobwebs and dead bugs crowded by a window next to a large seating area. Service is a hit or miss. Some act like servers, some just ignore you till you walk up to the bar, even if you are just there to eat. A little bit of consistency would be nice. Loud patrons and regulars. There seems to be one small batch of people that come here close to everyday, some of them are respectful and quiet, some of them leave the door to the men's restroom open while they are using the urinal. I also had my daughter with us having lunch there by the way, and the women's bathroom door was next to the men's on the left. And that patron didn't seem to care if he was exposed or not. The food is the only thing that is sometimes consistent. We ordered garlic cheese curds one time and kept getting served the regular ones that was kind of a weird experience. I'd like to come back, but it needs a lot of improvement to welcome new regulars. So I think we'll be going somewhere else for now.
