Unfortunately every drop of the food was just awful. My bread was way over toasted, while also being pretty literally too hot to eat, and by the time it was even slightly cooled off enough the whole thing was soggy. Wanted to give Papa Luigi a big 5 star review. I've lived in the area for 2 years now and they are the picture of consistency. Very good quality, consistently on time delivery, and the service is always great. During the covid pandemic we have purchased from them a LOT to do our part to keep them going and we don't feel like cooking as often haha. They have still remained consistent and amazing. One time they ran less than 10 minutes late on a delivery and the driver apologized over and over again, we weren't mad and told him it was ok, but the service yet again was great. The place was really clean, typical young girls and delivery driver packed behind the counter. Display case was full of specialty pizzas. I suggest going in for pickup because this is like Kansas and your delivery will take forever (minus the star.) the delivery drivers don't make even minimum wage so I hate when the owners get stingy and do not hire enough to handle the lunch rush... this is a factory town where business lunches are pretty common and probably a major source of customer base. Other than that the food is awesome. However as a pizza place who offers delivery you need to make sure you have the manpower to get your product to the customer. I wouldn't not go back however my coming will never order from there again. I suggest the "pap Luigi slice", thin grandma style with pesto drizzled on it was out of this world. Papa Luigi's is our go-to joint for consistently good pizza as well as generally reliable delivery. The people who answer the phone are usually pleasant and efficient to boot. Abomination of service. Placed an order of a chicken tender appetiser, chicken tender platter, and 10 wings. They shorted me a wing and didn't deliver the platter. When I called the delivery driver she said she had nothing else in her car and just hung up on me. Today we ordered 20 wings (naked,fried hard, half mild half honey bbq) we wanted all flats but that don't come that way because they are prepackaged. It didn't bother us because we know there food is always delicious and it truly was!! We also ordered a cheesesteak with friend onions and it was delicious. My daughter doesn't eat cheese but she always trusts Papas cheese which is great! Most times we call up and thank them and let them know how delicious their food was. This is a great pizza place in the area. They have tastier food than their next door competitors. The service is fast, and food is hot and tasty. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak and fries today and it was ginormous. There is no way I could have ever finished the sandwich - I was stuffed just eating half and a couple fries. The roll was soft and the shredded lettuce and tomato was very fresh. I also love their garlic knots!! Just a little feedback for the restaurant: could probably cook the fries a little more. My favorite slice in the area. Better than any pizzeria in town within a 15-20 minute drive. The store is also nice and clean enough to casually eat in for that quick slice. Plain slice impression: The crust here actually has good flavor, not at all remincient of cardboard. Cheese was melty and stringy (good), and the sauce was not bitter or lacking in flavor. The delivery is almost always on time and that is what keeps his from being 5 star. On the other hand, there is no minimum delivery price, which means you can order the 5$ delicious pizza fries and they will deliver without a fee! I order here about five times a month as I work in the area and its convenient. They also take card over the phone and I trust them doing this.
