We visited around 4:30 pm on Friday evening and were seated promptly. My brother ordered the ribs, and my sister had the fried chicken. I opted to play it safe and only ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. My brother enjoyed the ribs, but my sister said the chicken had no flavor whatsoever. I had a bite, and I completely agree. It was as if someone just fried the chicken without seasoning it. My sandwich was fine, just as I expected. The fries, however, were nothing special. I assume that they came from a bag in the freezer. We all ordered the cream of chicken rice soup, which was delicious. My sister and I enjoyed it so much that we ordered some to-go. The vibe was relaxed and comfortable. I liked the old Western feel. Our waitress was attentive and friendly too, which was awesome. I'd probably stop in again for another sandwich or burger.

Marilyn used to own Marilyn's in Monee. The service this family provides is second to none. The compassion you hear in their voices, the care they have for you food being delivered perfectly, and the smiles you get from them consistently. It's hard to find great service these days.
