This place usually always has a wait so be prepared by joining the waitlist or waiting around (in my experience). I love their revolving specials. Their mimosa flight is yummy too. I love using the inKind app where you can earn cash back and rewards for paying through their app too. Nothing notable about the ambiance, but I've had nothing but positive service experiences, all the servers are knowledgeable about the food and what's offered. Visited today and I am happy to say I will be back the next time I am in Chicago. We tried the French toast flight and our favorite was the caramel and lemon. Absolutely delicious. I will walk miles to get to the French Toast Flight. It is really that good! Overall, my visit went well. Short wait time on a packed day. The server was okay. I wished she would have checked on us a little more. The Good? The chicken sausage is packed with flavor. Don't be fooled by its appearance. It's so yummy. The Great? A short uber trip to Lincoln Park on Thursday AM, we chose here for our breakfast. Seeing they had several locations, I was concerned about it being a chain and not having that certain charm - but all that went out the window when upon walking up - the front glass door was boarded up from being broken. Large seating area - they do have a live waitlist on Yelp to utilize but we never had to as there was plenty of seats available. I ordered the breakfast burrito which had cheese hashbrowns, as well as eggs and bacon. The cheese wrap was soft and the ingredients were very good. Served with their own hot sauce - this was a very good start to the trip food-wise. I wish I could give no stars , I was really disappointed with my breakfast experience. I ordered pancakes with my meal, but after waiting a long time I was told they were "still coming." By the time they finally brought them out, I had already finished my eggs and bacon. At that point, I didn't even want the pancakes anymore because my meal was over. The service was friendly, but the kitchen dropped the ball. Breakfast items should come out together, especially something as simple as pancakes. If there was a delay, someone should have communicated that earlier or offered a solution instead of making me wait until I was done eating. Everything we had, including the French toast and coffee, was extremely high quality, fresh, and exceptionally delicious. Maybe the best hash browns I've ever had. I was so disappointed everything is sweet. I wanted hot sauce for my cat fish that was not sweet. I was told that all of it was sweet. The butter for the pancakes and waffles was sweet which made them too sweet. They charges a service fee and w ended up paying an additional 40% of our bill. I ordered the waffle flight also. Strawberry, blueberry, pecan caramel, and lemon. Didn't make any sense to be so blooming delicious. Went back a few Sayurdays later and had the chicken and shrimp alfredo with cheesy hashbrowns and a small order of creme brulee French toast. Full blown turned out. Straight-up yum. We were there for lunch today and ordered and split and tortilla soup and a vegetable burrito. salsa were served when we walked in. Surprisingly the chips were crushed. They look like they came from the bottom of the bag. I've been going to Lincoln Park location for years. Decided to go with a friend to Batter and Berries suburb location for brunch. Plenty of free parking (parking lot is huge!) The decor is colorful and fun (purple and yellow) We were given a table immediately in outside patio. The place is very large with a full bar and seating on one side and seating on the other side of the establishment. The staff is friendly and responsive to requests of more ice or napkins. Best item on menu is The Flight, a variety of French Toast flavors. Feel free to share the dish, then order a main course for yourselves. Ordered the Fajita chicken omlet (egg white omlet may be ordered) which comes with cheesy hash browns. Everything was delicious! Oh my goodness. If I could leave 0 stars I would. The service was abysmal. We were a party of 3 and requested to be seated outside since there were tables available immediately. We placed drink orders, two coffees and a round of water. one coffee came, but mine never did. Then about 30 mins later our food came out which would've been great except the hashbrowns were raw. I asked for cooked hashbrowns and condiments. 10 more mins later and a new plate of raw unseasoned hashbrowns came out. Gross. No one here cares about what's being prepared for guests and that's unfortunate considering the price point. I will not be back and I hope this establishment considers paying their staff more and training them better so guests can have an enjoyable experience. Side note, the bathroom was filthy and there were 4 tables with plates that hadn't been bussed on the patio. I'm appalled, and you should be too. I wish we had just gone Lumes. read more

My cousins and I recently visited this location to celebrate a birthday. We went on a Monday and they were quite busy. Our party was originally told that there would be a 45 minute wait. We ended up waiting over an hour for a table. I ordered the mimosa flight, a sausage omelette and a side of bacon. The blueberry mimosa was my least favorite but I enjoyed the strawberry and apple flavors. I meant to order the gravy that comes with the omelette on the side but I forgot. The gravy had a hint of sweetness, which was unexpected. I wasn't a fan of it on the omelette but I like it when I dipped my bacon in it. Fantastic French toast. Drove 50 minutes from Woodfield because I was looking for a new place and I love French toast. It did not disappoint! Instead of going for the really sweet type, I asked if they had regular normal French toast and our wonderful server, Marcia, said she could make it happen! (It was rung in as caramel only because there wasn't a plain version available so no worries.) I asked for crispy bacon and it was not only crispy, but the thick style! The coffee was fresh and delicious and all of the staff were kind and helpful. The food at this location isn't the same at the one up North and the Service could be better but the waitress I experienced today requires more training, the attitude needs some adjusting. I asked for a separate glass of ice from my juice as she sat down our juices I simply reminded her of my ice and her swift response was " Two hands" which meant i can only carry two cups at a time which is understandable but not necessary. Instead she could have simply said no problem i'm bringing it next, this new generation requires way more training than the older generation we were raised with respect. Today was the first day of soft opening I am going to call it. Online and walk in orders to take out. I choose online. Everyone inside was friendly. The place isn't ready for sit down but the change from what it was previously to now is evident. Sunny yellow walls and tables waiting for us to come in. I had a regular breakfast: eggs, bacon, hash browns and a biscuit. Packaged well for take out. Bacon was crispy and I didn't have to ask. Scrambled with Gouda and nice amount of cheese.
