Have ordered the Chicken Stuffed Crust pizza twice in the last month and it was made incorrectly each time. The first time I ordered on-line, "no tomatoes", got it home and its full of tomatoes. So this time I went inside to order. I told Daniel "no tomatoes". Well I got home and guess what, there were no tomatoes but...he took it upon himself to add spinach and artichoke! Yuck!! Neither of those comes on that pizza nor do I want them on the pizza, it was undeniable. This will be the last time I try to get a pizza there, what a waste. read more

Lakeway Papa Murphy's is under new ownership/management. A few days ago, a dipping sauce was left off my order. I stopped by to request a refund and spoke with the new owner. A refund was no problem. I also pointed out a minor situation with an employee that happened a few months ago, not to complain, but to make the owner aware. She was very appreciative and very apologetic. To make things "right," she offered me a complimentary product. I love Papa Murphy's pizza and am thrilled to see this store is in good hands. read more

Pizza was delicious and we like that we can cook it at home on our grill's pizza stone.

With the restrictions on going out these days, pizza can always come through for a great take out experience, and Papa Murphys is where I like to get mine. These days I go for a take and bake cheesy bread (the most exciting part for me tbh) with a simple pepperoni pizza. Sometimes I go for a stuffed big murphy with chicken instead of beef. The last time I went, we tried a bar-b-que pizza with ground beef, and it was awesome! Getting a customizable pizza is always fun as it can be exactly what you want. read more

The owner is super friendly and funny. The pizza is very good. I like their new gourmet ingredients: fennel sausage, roasted garlic, artichoke hearts, angus steak and sun dried tomatoes. My order was prepared quickly and at a reasonable price. I called my wife after placing the order, by the time I was home the oven was ready and we were enjoying our pizza just some 12 minutes later. My daughter loves the cookie dough, she eats it raw. The salds look good, but I have not tried one. Good pizza, good value. read more

We ordered 2 pizzas 30 minutes before they closed which shouldn't be a problem since they don't cook anything in the store. I even asked if it was too late to place an order and they reassured me it was fine. When my daughter went to pick up the pizzas the employees were complaining about customers that placed late orders. We won't be back. There are plenty of businesses that need our support. read more

The service is consistently great and they are always flexible and courteous. The pizza itself is always great and fast. Once when I was there with my kids, one if them ran out of the store and I chased after her. The Papa Murphy's boy fixing my pizza delivered it to my car saving a very stressful moment. Pizza quality is great but admit I'm not a pizza aficionado and eat lean anyway. Proper cooking is necessary to achieve the best crust results. This is a build your pizza any way so i dont claim to know the quality across the board. The s'mores pizza is always a hit. It's just plain sinful. The cookie doe pizza not so much as it is just plain awful when cooked - an oily sugary crusty disc. As far as the religious stuff others comment on...I've never noticed it and don't care. We live in a very diverse world so the reviewer taking exception should really to a mirror check. The reviewer commenting about how they pushed back making pizza 20 min before closing should consider that their employees are mostly high school students probably needing to go home. With that said, this is a management issue that should be fixed so people can come in an build a pizza during their posted hours of operations. read more

I call 20 minutes before you close, and get told that making my pizza would be a "hassle" because you have already started cleaning up and tearing down ingredients. This is always our lazy go-to when no one is in the mood for cooking- it happens. The ingredients are always fresh, the place is immaculate, the prices are cheap, you get a punch card for your purchases, they send me coupons in the mail to make it even cheaper, and to top it off, it's the healthiest and best pizza I have found. Online order was placed 3+ hours before arrival, and pizza was not ready at promised time. We had to wait ~15 minutes for preparation after checking in. I reserved a surprise bag in Too Good To Go, and when I got the store they claimed they don't even know the app or the platform, and didn't have anything for me. I have been using Too good to go to get surprise bags from local stores a couple of times a week, mostly for snacks, and never had a problem until now. I was looking forward at trying the store since I don't usually eat pizza, but was heading to meet a friend to help him move, and could have used a quick snack while we are busy. Seems like management will enroll on different platforms and not tell the staff. A couple of them talked among themselves, didn't know anything, so they went to a third one, didn't know either. So it wasn't like just an employee that didn't know, but rather a management problem. Besides wasting my time now I have to open a claim with the platform to get my money back, which was already charged to my credit card. Too much of a hassle, so with several other pizza places in town I doubt I will waste my time there again. read more

This is my family's favorite pizza place in the Lakeway area. The service is always great. The ingredients are always fresh and the specials are awesome. It is a take and bake store so they do not cook it for you, but that works just fine for us. The stuffed pizza is good and outrageously large. If you like pepperoni, they load it up. The delite thin crust pizza is pretty good but hard to get crisp in our oven. Our favorites are the Chicago Style Stuffed, the Taco Grande, the artichoke, chicken and bacon, and the Mediterranean. read more

Hubs was craving a Stuffed Pizza, so we thought we'd give the local Papa Murphy's a go. We were pleasantly surprised! Cost was great .... ($20 for pizza, salad and cookie dough), ingredients were fresh and tasty (even the sauce was good and we're picky :) and the baking instructions were clear and correct. Great customer service at Papa Murphy's Lakeway! I'm always greeted upon walking in the door and several of the guys behind the counter even know my order - or at least what I usually order. Sometimes I show up close to closing time and I never feel like I'm inconveniencing anyone. I like the variety of options on the menu with the variety of crust options - some days I want more and some days less - and the flexibility to put the pizza I want on the crust that I want.. Also nice to have a fresh salad option for when I'm feeling healthy and dessert options for when I'm not - or to balance each other out :-) I call home and have the hubs turn on the oven when I leave and by the time I get home it's ready for the pizza!
