Good experience our first stop at Slice of Austin! Ambiance is lacking, it's really a drive through, carry out place, and we wanted to eat on the spot! The description of the place would be better served to ID it as a drive through, carry out spot. That said, there are a couple of picnic tables there, and we hung out after the rain stopped. Staff was great, friendly, helpful, good service at "the table" checked on us couple of times the makes sure we were good. Super disappointed they were out of wings on our visit, we love our wings as a starter. The Caesar salad was good, mostly lettuce and shaved parm cheese... the dressing was great, the croutons were out of a box.... The pizza (supreme) was stellar, delicious... piping hot, plenty of toppings too! The crust was awesome NY/Italian-style, huge, flat chewy dough, thin and nice crust, a few burnt edges to make it real! A good meal, great pizza ... we like our pizza hot on the spot, not real carry out folks! But, that's just us! Sign in the window says beer and wine coming soon! This is righteous pizza, pricey but worth the money. We'd go back... and, we will! Stay tuned!

Got 2 slices and reviews are right- really good crust and fresh toppings

Ok so I kinda stumbled upon this small pizza place as I was in the area. And I nearly passed on them but was intrigued by all the great reviews. Well I'm so glad I ended up checking them out because their pizza was pretty darn good, and their homemade ranch - omg it's phenomenal. I stopped by here and had a craving for some pizza. Read the reviews and noticed they served slices which was appealing as I didn't have to commit to a whole pizza and could try a couple of slices for my first visit. I think Oscar helped me out - he had slices of supreme, pepperoni, and cheese slices in the showcase. I always have to get pepperoni, but Oscar also recommended the Supreme saying the veggies are fresh and also how the pizza remains crispy and is not soggy because of the way they cook it. Ok - you had me at crispy and process. So the crust is not too thick, not too thin, and it's crispy some some chewy and it tastes pretty darn good. I can't explain it - but it's seasoned just right, not bland, not too dry, and has good flavor but nothing over the top if that makes sense. And the quality was very good because it tasted great and you don't want to toss it out, you want to eat the crust. Sorry but you can deal with a few extra carbs - it's worth it. Oscar was right about the Supreme pizza. The veggies tasted really good and fresh, and the pizza was not soggy. I like Supreme pizza, but it's not my go-to, however the Supreme pizza here has changed my view as it was the most flavorful I've had. So I was really happy after taking a few bites of both pizzas. I don't remember if I asked Oscar for some ranch or if he told me that their ranch was really good - but he gave me some and I was like - wow!! Now that's some excellent ranch dressing! So I asked if they made it in-house - of course! You could (and would) literally drink it with a straw. It's got that wow-factor for me. Kinda like how Hidden Valley Ranch use to be way back in the day - when it was really good - the ranch here is even better than that. I mean if you're having difficulties getting your kids to eat their veggies, having this for dipping - I bet they'd eat the whole garden. It was so good I asked if I could buy some additional cups to take home with me. I have to make my way back to Slice of Austin - hopefully this week. I have been craving their pizza. I greatly appreciated Oscar's guidance and insight, he was very nice and professional and his recommendations were spot-on. I was really impressed with this place, it was quality good and a refreshing pizza experience. I'm going to see if they can sell me a 2-liter of ranch dressing with a big long straw. LOL!

Supreme Pizza

Very good local Pizza place in the Lakeway, Four points area. Thin slice style with very generous cheese and an array of toppings. The sauce is very good. The supreme pizza was our favorite. A little bit of everything and delicious. Service was fast. Highly recommend this place for takeout.

We got pizza for my son's birthday from slice of Austin, we had the supreme, chicken bbq and veggie and all of them were good We specifically liked the veggie pizza a lot. We asked zucchini to be replaced by jalapeno and they obliged and not every pizza joint doesn't do that. Recommend.

Overall solid dinner, nice packaging, and decent price for Austin. The great: Cannoli large, firm, but too hard of a shell, tasty chocolate chips on the ends, and fresh tasting stuffing - creamy and delicious. And, great value! The very good: Meatball. Nice size, pork and beef (I think), tasty red sauce. Quite Italian. Good value. The good, but: Chopped salad. Good size, a lot of meat, balsamic was tasty, good cheese, but not a legit chopped salad. Real chopped salad- go to Tony Cs. Pizza - Tasted fine, but too doughy for legit NY style pizza (and, I grew up in NY and get there 2-3x a year). Skimpy on the sausage, but excellent flavor/tasty. Would I order from here again. Probably not, as the non-pizza options are limited and the pizza was just okay.

Seating is limited enough that you start mentally drafting backup plans the moment you step inside. We ordered the lasagna pizza, which tasted good but was noticeably undercooked -- soft enough that it felt like it needed another round in the oven. And the "lasagna" angle? I'm still trying to decode it. Everything listed as the lasagna components were things a normal pizza already has, so the theme didn't quite land. Overall: good flavor, but execution missed the mark for us. Pro tip: order it to go so you're not stuck awkwardly hovering for a table.

Once we got our table we were ravenous. We tried the Sicilian pepperoni pizza, a pan style. Pizza came out piping hot and fresh - flavors were on point! Absolutely delicious. Worth the long wait. Service was slow and spotty - we never got our water refilled, she never came around to check on us or ask if we wanted another round of drinks. After bringing out our pizza we never saw her again. There is also no signal in this restaurant, so make sure you sign into their wifi upon arrival if you need access to texts/calls. A solid experience overall, but service could certainly be better.

I've spent my life chasing the perfect crust, comparing everything from the legendary pie shops in Manhattan to the pristine corner slices in Pittsburgh. I didn't think Austin could pull off truly authentic pizza. I was dead wrong. Baldinucci is absolute sorcery. The moment I took a bite of their Roman-style pizza, I was instantly thrown back to the tiny, narrow pizzerias I stumbled into in Italy. It has that exact, hyper-specific airy crunch that is so incredibly hard to replicate outside of Europe. The dough is clearly fermented with patience. It's light, shatteringly crisp on the bottom, and has those beautiful, irregular air pockets that give it a pillowy structure without ever feeling heavy. Let's talk about the sauce, because that's where most places fail. It isn't that sugary, paste-heavy stuff you find at standard joints. It is vibrant, bright, and tastes intensely of sun-ripened tomatoes and clean olive oil. It is remarkably fresco; striking that perfect balance where the acidity cuts through the richness of the cheese without overwhelming the palate. The vibe inside the West Lake spot is casual and unpretentious, but they take their craft seriously. Food service is streamlined and efficient; you order at the counter, and they pop the slices back into the oven so they land at your table screaming hot. The staff is genuinely proud of what they're slinging, and they should be. If you are an East Coast transplant drowning in a sea of mediocre pies, do yourself a favor and get over to West Lake. It's the real deal. PS: The gelato flavors are also sorcery. However, a review of their gelato is for another time. I must continue to savor the pie for now.
