Incredible pizza and service (thanks Sienna!)!! Love Winston's! Keep up the phenomenal work!

    Margherita Pizza

I have heard great things about this place so we finally checked it out! We were skeptical because we weren't sure how serious they were taking their coffee! We are super critical when it comes to our coffee but we are excited when we get proven wrong. The coffee was perfect! The barista even asked if I felt like there was plenty of lavender in my latte. We ended up getting a pizza to go for our dinner! It heated back up well and the ingredients tasted fresh. I can only guess how amazing it would been fresh. Highly recommend this place for your coffee and pizza needs!

    Truffle Pizza to die for!

I'm so glad we decided to stop in today! This is a really cute neighborhood spot with nice ambiance and friendly staff. The good: we tried the Margherita pizza and the Truffle pizza. They nailed it! Crust was super thin, crisp and brown on the bottom. Toppings were plentiful and spread out to the edge. They use San Marzano tomatoes on the Margherita and it really makes a difference. There was Just the right amount of Truffle oil on the Truffle pizza. It might be nice to offer topping it with prosciutto after it comes out of the oven for the meat eaters out there. Wine seems to rotate, but they offer a nice mix, albeit a short list. The "negative" : lack of shaded tables. At 5:00 there was 1 in back which will quickly become 0 until the sun goes down. The front has 2 small 2-top tables. So for those with dogs, this really limits our options especially during hot weather. Hoping they will have heaters in the cold months! If you're in the area, I highly recommend you stop in!

So grateful that this awesome little shop opened in the location it did. Worth a stop! Fantastic hot tea, lattes, and pizza. I do like the avocado toast as well, but they do not serve that past noon. Super friendly staff, and nice place to visit with friends and hang out for a bit!

"Great service, quick and easy, amazing food. "- review by my 10 year old My 3 kiddos loved the pizza, soup, cheese bread and playground

The cafe/restaurant is nice. Their crust is light & has good flavor which is consistent with about all other reviews. It's a well balanced pizza that's not overly expensive either given it's a smaller independent shop. If nearby Bee Cave I'd recommend stopping in.

    Supreme pizza
    Bonnie R.

Wanted to try Winston's so I picked up a supreme pizza to go. Great crust but thought overall the pizza need more toppings. The pizza was good and I would return for breakfast. The place is small but looks like it has a nice outside area with a playscape which would have been nice on a nice warm day.

I have two kids that frequently interrupt my sleep, and I stay up too late surfing the web and playing video games. I yawn frequently. Coffee is very important to me. Based on financial audits performed by my concerned wife on my coffee drinking habit, I spend somewhere in the neighborhood of $150-$200 a month on coffee. That equates to approximately $2,000 per year, which is about the per capita GDP of Bangladesh. Now that I have established some minimum credibility in the area of coffee-consumption, allow me to state some opinions. Cuvee Coffee is not only clearly the best coffee roaster in the Austin area. Cuvee coffee is one of greatest craft coffee roasters in Texas, the United States, or, perhaps, the world. The espresso pulled from Cuvee beans is orders of magnitude better than just about anything else out there. Basically, the coffee shops that serve Cuvee have bad ass drinks while the competition begins to taste undrinkable in comparison. If you have any doubt, go to Starbucks and order a simple espresso-first drink like a double macchiato. Then, go to a Cuvee-based shop (like Caffe Medici, Patika, Caffe Yolly, or Houndstooth) and order the same thing. Cuvee has a great thing brewing in our backyard, and I enthusiastically throw my meaningless five stars to them for enriching and elevating the beverage that is so important to me.

From a devoted drinker who has tried numerous local, state and national roasters' best blends and…read moresingle origins: Cuvee is outstanding coffee. Chris S.'s review is right on the mark in several regards. Cuvee may well be among the very top coffees I have ever tasted, with the exception of Stumptown. And just as Chris S. pointed out, try a Starbucks drink. And then try a coffeehouse that serves Cuvee. My girlfriend did. She used to think that coffee was an acquired taste until I introduced her to amazing coffees like Brown, Cuvee, and Stumptown. Now, she just cannot get herself to drink a Starbucks latte. Coffee is dynamic. There is much that goes into making your cup of coffee good. A lot of it is in your hands, such as selecting the best bean for the brewing method you have, brewing with proper technique, and using good quality water. That which is not in your hands is the quality of bean and roasting technique. Cuvee is constantly trying new beans, tweaking their roasting techniques, and maximizing the goodness of the bean and farmer-roaster alliance. I finally made the pilgrimmage to Cuvee on a recent relaxing day. I talked with Hannah, the receptionist, and scheduled a visit on a Friday. Typically, tours are given several times a week, leaving Fridays for staff-meetings. I got lucky because Cuvee is soon changing their tours to once a month with periodic cuppings, or coffee tastings. I had the pleasure of talking with one of Cuvee's two coffee roasters, Logan. For almost an hour, he talked me through the life of the beans: how they are received, roasted, and bagged. He answered every question that I had, even the stupid ones, with courtesy and genuine passion. After discussing the throughput process with Logan, I was taken to Lorenzo, master barista. He talked me through the complex process of brewing and all the factors involved. I was lucky enough to have a comparison cupping in addition to Lorenzo's thoughtful short class. Mike McKim and his professional staff are passionate, focused, courteous, and welcoming. I cannot disagree more with the single one-star review that I noticed by Juan P. The staff at Cuvee were not at all snobby and Cuvee coffee is superior to Katz Coffee. Try the Meritage blend. It's my favorite, next to Stumptown's Hair Bender. If you have a Chemex, try the amazing Laguna Las Ranas.

Was seated in about the middle of the restaurant along the wall. I love these seats cause you can see the coffee station and what's going on back there. Basically people watching. It was a little loud today, so I put on my head set and listened to some music. My server was Joyce and she was sweet. Took my order, which was breakfast tacos and a pineapple mimosa. My drink came super quick, and my food didn't take long at all. I mean like a couple minutes quick. Tacos were outstanding. And honestly as soon as I asked for a corn tortilla over the flour I thought, they're going to fall apart. But they didn't. And when you see the size of these tacos it will blow your mind that they didn't. Good corn tortilla. Scrambled eggs are fluffy, the potatoes are seasoned a little. They added bacon for me a that was chopped up inside the taco. Honestly it was a lot of food. I knew I wouldn't be able to finish it. But I did, and enjoyed every bite.

It was alot of families and friends gathering there as well as a few different people working on computers and reading. I ordered a cranberry mimosa was absolutely delicious. What really blew my mind was that the server told me we couldn't sub the toast on the breakfast plate with the tres leches French toast bc it wouldn't "taste right together". I'm now immediately put off because what kinda flavor yall have on your food to where sweet and savory don't go together. So we ordered masala chai, the mango lassi smoothie, breakfast potatoes and bacon. The chai and smoothie were both very disappointing. I love masala chai and drink it often enough to know that this chai tasted heavily watered down even thought it was freshly made. The smoothie didn't taste like mango at all, it tasted like mostly like nothing with a side of banana and oats. I wish they had the ingredients on the menu because my man wouldn't have ordered it if he knew there were bananas in it. The breakfast potatoes were pretty good after adding salt and pepper and the bacon was the best thing out of what we got. It was flavorful. Overall, not impressed with this place.
