I always loved Papa Murphy's. Their cowboy pizza is my favorite! Unfortunately, not every store has the same great product or service and this location was the worst one. The great Papa Murphy's pizza was ruined by terrible staff. My pizza had to be made twice because the staff member had no idea what they were doing. They also charged me extra for my pizza that THEY messed up. This Papa Murphy's location is the worst! Ever! Such a shame that a great brand has such a weak link in their chain. Management needs to get their employees in shape because this is unacceptable. Arguing with the customer, ignoring customers, locking the doors as customers walk up, and swearing when children are present. Unacceptable. read more

I go here often for the gluten free crust as it's one of the very few pizza places that is careful enough for celiacs to eat. Each time the service is bad but this time took the cake. When I asked the cashier (who ignored me when I walked up the to register) for gluten free crust and mentioned I have a gluten allergy he laughed at me and commented on the idea that everyone these days have gluten allergies. I stated that I actually have celiac disease and that it's a serious condition to which he continued to laugh at me. Disappointed. read more

Have been a regular at this location for 4 years. Always treated with kindness and respect. They had problems with a manager about 4 years ago and had to shut down for a week to reorganize and get their house in order. It happens to the best of us. They came back with a bang and haven't looked back since. Great manager, responsible staff and awesome pizza. We do pizza Friday with our children almost every Friday and sometimes pick up pizza other nights of the week. Always spot on. Everyone has a mistake once in a while, so I am guessing the bad reviews are just people that expect the best and happened to hit a bad moment. So go there and enjoy.....Chicken Garlic pizza is the best anywhere!!! And the new Combo Magnifico is all that. read more

Their pizza is made with fresh ingredients. Called the order in and the person answering told me about a better deal than what I had a coupon for and it was ready to go when walked in. As with all PM pizzas, you cook them at home. read more

LOVE their pizza's and have always had good service until today when I went in to pick up a pizza and asked to get a caesar salad. I was given lettuce with a very small amount of parmesan cheese on top for $5.50. When I asked where my croutons were the guy told me that croutons were extra. Huh? That's what's on a caesar salad! I have called in orders to Papa Murphy's in Rice Lake 3 times. Two of the three times, an hour before pickup, and the orders were not ready when I got there. That is the reason for calling ahead, if on a tight schedule, which I was. This past Friday, I called in my order at noon, requesting a 4:00 Pickup time. When I came into the store, no one acknowledged that I walked into the door, when I got into the store, there was a gentleman there trying to pick up an order that he said he placed via internet the day before. The store personal could not find any record of his order, and told him, "no you didn't place it over internet", he showed the clerk his cell phone and the order. She again said "no you couldn't have, we don't show it", There were 4 people working behind the counter, one young man standing like a statue in front of the toppings prep area, one woman arguing with the man about his internet order, and two other women standing in the doorway to the kitchen area, talking about so and so who is in jail and won't show up to work. I waited at the register for nearly 10 minutes, finally I said," can someone maybe help me?" the response was, "Oh no one has helped you yet?" seriously??? two of you were flapping your yaps about someone in jail, another was arguing with a customer, and statue boy just stood there! This is the MOST unprofessional group of employees I have ever encountered. Not just this time, but, every time. Your management seriously needs to work on Customer Service with its employees, talking about someone in jail, and arguing with the customer---NOT WORKPLACE actions, especially when customers are present. I will NEVER, go to Papa Murphy's again!!! read more
