We waiver back and forth with this place. The food is generally decent, but the leadership sucks! Ordered over the phone. Arrived 2 minutes before our order was to be ready only to be told it hadn't went into the oven yet. Witnessed people in the dining room getting wrong orders, then watched as the delivery driver came back in to announce his delivery order was wrong. Almost simultaneously watched a person bring back an order that he had picked up that was wrong. While waiting, overheard a woman yell from the back , "Zoe, this order was your screw up and you have cost us $200 tonight. Clock out and go home". Really, that couldn't have been handles privately?it seems as if this place wants to run with the big dogs, but lacks the skills to do so. read more

Most food is good. But the service is so unprofessional! A bunch of young, rude kids working there. They talk crap about customers in the kitchen and can be heard. Ive never experienced and witnessed anything like it before! I'll never order from there again. I know many other people who say the same. We have been making the drive from Cedar Springs to this spot since the start of the pandemic- to try and support local businesses. We really do love their food- when they get it right. Unfortunately, 8/10 times they will get it wrong- whether it is a sauce missing or an entire incorrect entree. I will say that after tonight we will never go there again- especially after Jeff, the owner, YELLED at me on the phone when I called to talk with him about the errors in our order tonight, that he didn't care if we ever came back again. We live about 15 mins from their location, and unfortunately, a few times we did not open our food prior to driving home to eat. We learned the hard way and began to open our food before we left their location. That solved some of the issues. Unfortunately, tonight when my husband ordered a sub he did not physically unroll the sub to make certain it was a steak sub rather than the pizza sub they decided to give him. He turned around and drove back, called them on the way to correct the order. He arrived to pick up his new sub and asked to talk with the manager. Jeff, owner, was rude, yelling, and would not let my husband finish a sentence. He actually walked back into the kitchen without letting my husband finish talking and yelled "GO BLUE" like an immature 8 year old bully. (Apparently this was because my husband had an MSU sweatshirt on??). He yelled to my husband "we made a mistake and made it right" and would not let my husband talk. I also want to point out that all of these incorrect orders are online orders where they are able to print out exactly what we ordered- so there is no miscommunication over the phone as an excuse. We called him later that night. It only got worse. I have never been yelled at by a restaurant owner or manager. Ever. In my life. Until tonight. He told me he doesn't want our business. He actually hung up on me at the end of the phone call. He would not let me talk. Every single time I started a sentence to tell him about our loyalty to local businesses, he cut me off. He would yell back. He'd say he had to get off the phone with me because he had customers to take care of that were important and appreciative of their service. He claims that my husband came in dropping f-bombs in front of his teenage staff and it embarrassed him. NOT TRUE. He told me on the phone he felt he could be rude back and be defensive in front of his teenage staff in order to stick up for them. He claims when my husband left he told his staff "only I can talk to customer's like that". What an awful lesson. The worst cussword my husband used was "Well to be honest, I'm kinda pissed". He then went to try and explain things and just got yelled at and cut off , over and over. This was after my husband drove 15 mins there and 15 mins home and 15 mins back again to get the correct food. We tried to call and explain all of this, in hopes that it wasn't actually the owner that did this. Unfortunately it was Jeff. I told him on the phone about a time during covid that a member of his staff walked our food out to our car and it caught on fire in front of us on the way to the car and they dropped it and stomped it out. He called me a liar. Really, he did. I am certain if the young lady that it happened to reads this, she can confirm it happened to her. Yet, we still gave her a tip. I'd say every other time we order there is something missing. We learned to catch it while we are still there and correct it and move on. We understand errors, mistakes, short staff, pandemic cuts and stress. 100% we understand that. Apologizing and working through it on both sides is necessary. We have consistently ordered food here for the last 18 months with an average order of $40 per visit I'd estimate. I asked him several times on the phone to quit yelling at me. I asked him several times on the phone if I could explain my story to him. He continued to yell and he said he would not let me tell my side of the story if it was about how bad their service is or how they make mistakes. He continued on telling me he had a customer there in front of him that was thankful for their business and that he had to go take care of them and he didn't care if we ever came back again. The buffet here is trash. They put weird pizza on the buffet. Anything they put on it is a weird style of it that no one likes. They said that the only time they get ready a pizza is when all of it is gone on the buffet. If you come later all of the food taste old. read more

I wanted to love it, i really did. The food was ok, but when I got the bill i was overcharged. The sampler had a menu price of $11.99 and I was charged $12.99, the deluxe pizza menu price was $18.00 and I was charged $20. When i asked about it they said sauce on my 5 little wings was an extra $1 - no mention of it before the bill, and that thick crust was extra also, and she told me it was marked that way on the menu. I checked and it indeed said it was and "extra item" charge for thick, but that should have been $1. I wasn't offered to have the bill corrected. Paid it, still tipped well, and just won't go back. I would have been fine with the extra $3 if i had been made aware, but i don't like feeling like they are trying to pull something over on me. I don't like to write bad reviews, but if they don't know the processes that don't work, how can they fix it! Give it a try, but check you bill. read more

Worst business I've ever been to! My order was incorrect, when I called they accused me of lying even after I told them if they brought out a new sub I'd give the uneaten wrong one back. The mother of the owner was rude. So I drove all they way there to be ignored until another customer came in AFTER me who was then helped. Then they decided to acknowledge me. After explaining myself I was told that I was lying and I should have ordered my sub a certain way( how do you get extra sauce and extra cheese nothing else wrong) then after arguing with the owner I just asked for my money back and I'd never order again. He agreed handed me my money and I waked out. 5 mins later he calls and calls me a shit head because he gave me the wrong change ( $10) and I paid with a ($10) Groupon.
