So the middle was good, there was a clear honest attempt at making good eggs, but the execution was off. * The pork was a bit leathery, but it's possible I was envisioning thicker chashu slices as opposed to the thin-cut stuff here * The broth flavors weren't too well balanced. The salt was really a touch too prominent. I think I'd still consider going here again, but I would definitely want to try other places in Copenhagen first. Back in Boston or California, I don't think this place would be able to hang.

The noodles were well-cooked and plentiful. Toppings-wise, you get kimchi, shredded beets, shredded carrots, corn, two pieces of soft tofu, bean sprouts, and green onions. That's the 3rd CPH ramen place I've been that include kimchi as a topping, and I don't think it works, as it creates too much acidity. Anyway, good stuff overall. We asked for tap water to drink and they charged us 30 DKK (assholes -- such a stupid thing that many places here do), so bring your own if you want to avoid wasting money on water. Overall, a good spot for vegan ramen in Vesterbro.

I tried to eat a little more of it but had to leave a lot of it behind. How wasteful! That really bummed me out when he said no, as I tried to force a few more bites. I wanted to thank him for the meal because it was so delicious, but I was so irritated at that point every time I look at him. To me that was a big strike even if your food is good. I don't think I would go back there again. The waitress was friendly though. I do understand why you don't allow takeout since the art of the bowl would be compromised while walking or biking, I do think when someone has more than half of their food left over you could be gracious to give them a container to put it in. So that was really wasteful and I don't think I would come back here again but if you're very hungry and you can eat a lot of food get there early so you can get a seat otherwise it's a 40 minute wait outside in line on the street, and a very small location with no bathroom. The food was very good. The chef's rude temperment and the leftover container policy needs work.

Maybe I'm more used to more sophisticated or authentic-looking ramen setting, but it just feels weird to be in this place and eating ramen, especially right smack in the middle of Frederiksberg where there are only cafes, bakeries, and Italian restaurants nearby. All in all, it's a new player in town, the more ramen place, the better.
