All of which The Candi Project met, much to our joy!!! Chris and Aenid are AMAZING to work with. They met with us about a week after I had reached out to them, and communicated with us to get all the info before our big day (which was only a few weeks away at that point!). The day of the wedding, they went to my now husband's place first to capture him getting ready and were infinitely patient when he was very late in coming back home from picking up his best man! They then came to my place to capture me getting ready with my ladies, then rushed to the church to set up their cameras for the ceremony. It was AWESOME having the dual team and THREE different camera angles at our ceremony. And they were with us at the reception until like an hour before the party ended - which was almost 12 hours!!! They were also ridiculously fast with the editing - our wedding was on 10/5 and they sent us the link to our highlights video YESTERDAY - only 3 weeks!! I can't stop watching our video. From the very first phone call, he was open, honest, friendly and listened to what we wanted. Dom gave us feedback to what works best to give us what we were looking for in the pictures. He went over all the details and pricing with us and happily answered all our questions when we booked our maternity session. As for the actual session, it was awesome. We did both in studio and outside in a local park. He was patient with us as it was cold and did not rush us one bit. The time was perfect and we were able to get many different poses. He was very accommodating and you can tell from the photos he is passionate about what he does. All the images were spectacular. It'll mark our 1st year wedding anniversary in 3 weeks and we are still missing both pictures and…read morevideos that were included in our contract. We have been completely ghosted by Ed and team, and exhausted all possible forms of communication to get a response. Alchemedia missed all deadlines in our contract and didn't give a heads up prior for anything. They only responded when we followed up with them after receiving nothing at each deadline date. Photos were sent 6 months late and are still incomplete. Our video was sent 5 months late and clearly looked rushed. We reached out to schedule a call to discuss our video feedback and ask about all missing items from our contract, but haven't heard back from them on availability and still haven't received an ETA on when we will have a completed wedding gallery. It's sad to see how we've waited close to a year for our completed wedding footage and are not confident that it'll be complete by our 1st year wedding anniversary. We overpaid, considering we are still missing footage that was billed to us, and wouldn't wish this upon another couple as Alchemedia is horrible with communication especially post wedding.

I have been in touch with Derrick over the months and he is super responsive and managed the meetings/organization and details. I met with the core team in person and and via skype to review my crazy logistics, and they provided the best input to help the day go smoothly. Now onto the day of. They arrived at the hotel i stayed at and took about 45 min on my detail shots. If they're taking such care with pictures of your dress and shoes, then you know you're getting some quality stuff from this team. Kevin and Ed were fun and kept me peppy/reassured even though i kept glaring at the snow. My guess is that they also scouted the building because they found a balcony for us to take photos and walked me out so i would slip (in solidarity, they even told me they'd fall with me if it came to it). I loved that thoroughness and thought they put into the location. They even helped me carry stuff to the uber! While some of the crew was with me, they sent a few others to the venue where the groom + groomsmen were setting up and getting ready. They had a number of different angles, shots and locations they wanted to try, many of them were not exactly easy or comfortable for them to do (i.e. being out in the snow and cold), but they wanted to help me get the best shot. FYI, i think they also ruined their drone for me. Throughout the night, i was speaking and walking around to see friends, and out of the corner of my eye, i could see the team taking photos of everything. I literally think they didn't take any breaks. Am i happy with everything? Absolutely. I've been to a lot of weddings, and many times my friends complain about whom they hire. I have zero and am so glad they were my vendor. Thank you for a great wedding day!
