This place was so fun for my 2 year old . We did the toddler class and the kids had a great time . We painted , printed , stamped and laughed . The place is huge and there's just always something to interest your child . The two brothers are great people and will make you feel welcomed and laughing .

    Working on creative print work.

I happen to see someone on social media post about this location, so I looked them up and booked a slot to bring my son in for their Halloween 2022 weekend event. They had one focused for toddlers and another for older kids; my kid is in 3rd grade so of course we attended the older kids event. They are located in the Atlas mall in Glendale, Queens, which doesn't offer the best as far as free parking options. Since we were coming from northeast Queens, we ended up parking in the malls parking lot. Believe we ended up paying $3 or $4 to park for a couple of hours. The owner and his brother facilitated the event. The actual print shop is HUGE, filled with various activity areas and tons of murals and art to look at. They started by having all the kids write their names down and walked everyone through the shop, explaining what activities can be done in each area. They also have a bathroom for use. The entire event was about 2 hours and the kids walked out with a bunch of print shop goodies they created. The theme was Halloween and the staff there catered to this theme, with stamps focused on Halloween, and even gave Halloween candy at the end. Would recommend for parents looking for something outside the box to do with their kids. Definitely not something you come across nowadays and offers a new experience for our young ones.

They also sell personalized merchandise and art prints

We attended a birthday party here and everyone was so impressed! It's a party for a 4-year-old but older kids and adults all enjoyed making the prints together. The owner and his staff are all high energy and friendly, and all the kids enjoyed print-making and collaborative art using different brushes / tools. Some of the kids' parents were surprised their kids enjoyed the activities so much! I had been to this mall before but never stepped foot in this studio before this party. I didn't know the space is so big! It's a huge space for a birthday party, and I love that kids can try their hands on whatever they like during the party. We had so much fun!

Summary - every repeat comers said this is the place to bring your kids. I wasn't expecting to join the fun but Frank ends up getting all the adult to join the kids. My wife had so much fun. They should just do adult classes. Place - this place looks messy at first but they are alll work from previous painters and kids. This place is well organized and frank and his helpers will keep you entertained for 2 hours. Also time just feel like it fly by when we were here. You can just walk around and check out some creative pieces. Fun - so much fun. As an adult here, I got two hours of stress free fun and just run around with all the kids. Got your finger cover in paint. So much more. Overall please come here if you looking to get some fun with your kids.

I don't know how to begin to explain how amazing my son's 6th birthday party was at Little Pulp!!! Frank and everyone there were engaging, funny, personable and love what they do! I felt so at ease working with them leading up to the party as well as today. The kids and parents all had a great time. So many adults said " this place is amazing! Like no other party I've been to!!" I can't recommend it enough. We can't wait to come back!

Absolutely incredible! They need ten stars!!! We had our child's 7th birthday here and it was the best party we've ever had for any of our kids. There were loads of activities and everyone was thoroughly entertained the entire time by their energetic team. The place is also HUGE so everyone has a lot of space. From the moment we came in they had the kids rolling paint to make a poster for our birthday girl. Once everyone arrived they had loads of fun getting their hands messy making slime (optional add on) that they could take home and they used air pumps to blow bubbles in them. Afterwards we did the main activity of printmaking which was really fun and the adults were allowed to do it too. They were generous with all the supplies and we were able to make multiple prints of our designs using different ink colors. The kids had a lot of fun rolling the printing roller to make their prints and while waiting for their turn had fun adding to paintings around the studio which they were asked to add to. A few people have already told us this was the best party they've been too so definitely check it out! And if you do, picture frames make a good party favor for the kids to put their work on.

Seriously the best place for an event! I'm not sure how Frank manages to keep up such a high level of energy for hours, engaging children and adults alike. Fantastic experience both at a workshop and hosting a toddler party here. We love Little Pulp!

My kids and I had a blast at a recent Little Pulp workshop. Frank, Kevin and their team have a way with kids of all ages and somehow learned everyone's names within minutes. In addition to printmaking - the main attraction- they had set up the space with crafts of all kinds. They also make great use of their incredible space by setting up many large group paintings that kids work on over time. Although kids (and adults) are able to move around the space to try different areas and projects, it never feels harried or hectic -but the place is full of the energy of artistic discovery. Our kids came home with some truly beautiful art and lots of excitement. We don't live nearby but the trip is worth it- we'll be back.

This print shop is awesome and so much more, it feels more like a print shop and art collaborative. The atmosphere is electric and inspiring. I was getting my daughters haircut across the way and stumbled onto this spot today and wondered around for a few and was in awe. Great spot for a party or just to attend a workshop. We stuck around and watched the activities and the owner threw my daughter on one side of the marble rolling press and put her to work transferring a print, she loved it. The owner was great and I can't wait to go back and do a workshop with her and some of her friends.

So when the place is full or there's a lot of kids, it can be noisy. But it's too be expected. There's also a couple small dogs in the store. They keep to themselves. They had a decent selection of pottery to choose from. However, I think we wished there was a little more. We wanted to paint some of the marvel characters that we saw in a picture and also saw as a finished product on the shelf, but they were sold out. It's $8 to sit and then the price of the pottery on top of it. It's not cheap, but you're paying for the entertainment of it, the experience and memories, as well as, bringing home a one of a kind painted pottery. Additionally, there's a credit card fee if you pay with credit card. So I opted to pay in cash. Owners/staff are friendly. The staff offered suggestions on how to start painting (e.g. sketching out my design with a pencil first). But be patient, the owners have broken English. It didn't bother me, but I could see how it may be frustrating for others. Overall, we had a nice time at Mud Genius.

Sadly it was a frustrating experience and I am left wondering if it's this place only functions when the wife of the husband/wife team is at the helm. When she appeared she at least made an effort at customer friendliness. We went in on a weekday. I asked for an ice cream bowl. The husband's owner pointed to the shelves. I said I looked and could he help. He pointed to them again. No help. Sigh. I pick out a big item for my 8-year-old. We sit down. He proceeds to lecture my kid on using a big brush so he will finish faster. Is fast the goal here? It was overbearing and he didn't get any social cues to back off. More people come in -- a 5 and 8-year-old. He insists they sit together even though there's plenty of space because as he says: "this way I don't have to keep walking back and forth." It's a small shop people. Now we are crowded next to a 5-year-old who has ants in his pants and is ready to climb the walls. Relaxing it was not. Then there's the dog, which they keep in the store. I don't mind dogs, but some do. One such customer said her kid was afraid and could they put the dog away. He is put in the back only to keep coming back out or yap. Now we have to listen to the drama unfolding. But, I think the final straw, after enduring all this was that when I asked for a fine point brush because all the brushes out had bristles that were worn out I was informed customers ruined them so that's what they had. The message here: We can't have nice things and neither can you. I get kids are the main customers but it's an art shop and I KNOW brushes are not that expensive that you can't keep some aside for adults who are trying to do some more detailed work. So, no, it wasn't much fun, and it was sure as hell not relaxing. We won't be back.
