Found this place as we were visiting Lake Murray. So glad we did. Service was friendly and pizza ready timely and well made. We got ours to go but it looked nice inside. Salad bar looked very well done. Now to the food. We got half cheese half pepperoni. And a creamy chicken pizza. All of it was very good! Dough was well cooked on the bottom and crust was nicely crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Toppings were perfectly portioned. Pizza slices were all cut through so no extra cuts needed. I saw another post that said their pizza reheated badly - not true! I just reheated our leftovers in the oven and it was perfection. We will definitely be back when we visit lake Murray (pretty often). read more

Friendly service as you walk in the door. Freshly made pizzas which taste great hot and fresh out the oven but not so much warmed up the next day. Spaghetti was the same, great when fresh and warm but not so great warmed up the next day. I found the sauce a little too sweet for my taste but wasnt bad. read more

The pizza was burnt on the outside and cold on the inside. We had to ask repeatedly for refills. The bathroom was disgusting. The manager hid from me when I asked to speak to him. He was also rude to my daughter. The buffet was dirty. read more

Lucky find passing through town. We arrived to the buffet. Very reasonably priced but still very good quality. Surprisingly good for what I'd expect out of a pizza place buffet. Hubby & I LOVE Papas Pizza! This is the coolest pizza parlor in Ardmore. They have THE BEST SALAD BAR EVER! It's all scratch made pasta salads, tuna salads, potato salads & they make this yogurt dressing that hubby LOVES!!! Papas pizza parlor is very old school, doesn't serve liquor so it's more of a family kind of place. There are always kids running around & old people hanging out drinking coffee talking about the goings on around town. It's like looking into a Norman Rockwell painting. They just don't make'em like this place anymore. The pizza is a thin crust/hand tossed & it's sooooo yummy :)' They have a open kitchen so you can watch them stretch your dough & top your pizza right there. When traveling back from Dallas, this has been a great little Gem we found years ago in Ardmore. Pizza here has always been worth the buck. Currently they have a large, any topping pizza for 10 bucks.... that's cheaper then the chains! Overall - pizza is very good, and the staff is bonkers nice for all the bumpkin-style old people demanding refills from the soda machine 6 feet away.... bless the sweet little waitress tonight, I felt for her!!! Found this cute pizza parlor after visiting Turner Falls on our first trip in Oklahoma. It was wonderful! We paid $60 worth of pizza to feed 6 people and we had plenty left over to take back to the hotel. The service, the food, the buffet...all was wonderful! We arrived about 50 minutes before closing time and were warmly greeted. We ordered two pizzas and had the "one stop" salad bar. While the lettuce was only iceberg, it was fresh and did not taste of sulfate! There were a variety of salads - I tried the tabbouli and the cauliflower- both were good. Pizza came quickly and was enjoyed by all. The mushrooms were fresh, not canned. While I prefer more of a NJ style pizza, it was good. Would stop here again. read more

I read a couple of reviews and got the individual size pizza with spinach and onions as toppings. It was a carryout and got to my hotel to eat it. Yea, its pretty sad, but you don't come to Ardmore for the stimulating nightlife. :/ When I got to my room, 10 minutes away and even in the 95 degree weather, the pizza was lukewarm so I had to pop it in the microwave. But whatever, its expected. The taste was average. Nothing to write home about. The dough was bland, the sauce was pretty tasty and cheese was just on par. No packaged jello, potato salad, pasta salad or anything like that here. 6 different pastas including stuffed shells with Alfredo. 6+ pizzas. Crispy and chewy my favorite. Plus incredible service from Jerri who wouldn't let me get up to fill my sweet tea and didn't miss a beat running 12 tables with a great big smile. I would not recommend going to Papa's Pizzaria! I ordered the chicken fettuccine. I was lukewarm when I received it. It was covered in melted/cold cheese. There was so much cheese on top that I had to cut through it with a knife. Then the sauce tasted like there was pickle juice in it. Yes, that's right, pickle juice. It was the worst thing I have tasted ever. I can make better Alfredo sauce at home. I'm hoping I don't get food poisoning from it. Blah! Not to mention my husband's pizza was just as bad. read more

Can't believe I found a pizza place this good in the Texoma area. Came here for some cheap pizza on a Sunday night. I was not expecting anything amazing. Pizza comes out, and it was probably the best I've had in years. Light years better than Ten Star without the pretentiousness. Better than anything I've had in Chicago. New York, haven't been there a while, but I'm sure this pizza could hold it's own. Great stuff, usually most independent places are garbage but this place was amazing. Almost makes me wish I lived in Ardmore! I just have to add, I just went to NYC, and this pizza is better than most stuff there and in Chicago. Look at this pizza and you can see it's appetizing. I needed to to see my grandchildren to give them their Christmas gifts since we are not gathering as a family this year. I live in Texas and the kids are in Oklahoma City, so I decided to meet in Ardmore and I chose this place because the boys love pizza and they had good reviews. The pizza was really good! And even more so the staff was amazing! I had 30 gifts, stockings, advent calendars and a table Christmas tree. I asked right away if it would be ok to bring it all in and be a little away from customers due to covid and I didn't want to annoy anyone since the boys are all 4 and under. They welcomed us in and provided amazing service! They offered to take pictures of us, repeatedly checking if we needed anything, they even insisted to to take care of the wrapping paper and toy boxes that need to be trashed! I appreciate them so much for letting me enjoy my family time that I need badly as I missed them so much being more separated than normal. Thank you ladies!! read more
