Great food and people but the restaurant needs an update. The food was so delicious and the music was on point.

If I could give this place zero stars or even a -10 star review I would because I doNt know what…read morethe heck type of taco this is.. I can't even believe they felt comfortable handing me this. I asked for street tacos but I asked for the corn tortillas to be fried or pan seared how crispy street tacos are normally cooked. The girl at the front said oh ok you want crispy tacos I said yes... this is wtf they gave me and I AM LIVID! The tacos are dry as hell. Barely any meat and you had the nerve to charge $15.00 for a taco an elementary school kid could have made in the comfort of their home. With store bought hard shells telling people they are crispy corn tortillas . Just flat out unacceptable!

I stopped here for lunch after work this week. I ordered inside the restaurant when I got there,…read moreand was pleasantly surprised that the wait didn't take as long as I thought it would. They have seating, so you do have the option to eat inside. I noticed they have a board on the wall with specials that I don't think are included on their online menu. I would go inside to order if you can just to check those out. I'm not sure how frequently it might change. We got a small complimentary bag of tortilla chips and three sauces - a mild red salsa, salsa verde, and what seemed to be a spicy sour cream. I never figured out exactly what that last one was. I ordered the al pastor tacos and a steak quesadilla. If a restaurant has al pastor tacos, I'm basically guaranteed to get them, and I have come to realize each place does them a little differently. I was a little unimpressed with these only because the meat was so dry. The pineapple wasn't very juicy either, so that didn't help much. Between adding some of the salsas for some moisture and the amount of onion/cilantro, I really felt like I just lost the flavor of the taco itself. The steak quesadilla wasn't overwhelmingly good or bad. The only comment I have is that it could've used more steak! Based on this experience alone I'd give three stars, but I've had their food a few times before and consistently enjoyed it, so I'm giving them four. Hoping this visit was a one-off thing and they can redeem themselves next time.

Health: A menu with wide variety and genuine Hispanic cuisine is more than appreciated. Rice,…read moresalad, meat, soups. It's there and cooked without oil immersion or the awful trap of terrible portioning. Here, the nutrients shine. And that is healthy. Price: Decent. Very Decent. Everything I bought there was roughly over 45 dollars (before the tipping) and keep in mind, the condiments and sauces were complimentary. For this quality and quantity? I definitely got my money's worth. Experience: Wonderful server. Even in a busy dinner cycle, she came over and literally started to hand me a menu almost right as I sat down. Even gave me a great recommendation for the Enchilada platter and brought the holster of extras over to the table as well. The food was delivered quickly, and the small details (utensils, cleanliness, chair organization etc.) were great. Taste: Honestly this place is a standout for seasoning. It's flavorful, unique, and skewed towards spices over oil. Tasteful impact, without the baggage. A gem. Even among so many other restaurants serving this cuisine in the area I've tried, this is a standout. I'll come eat here again. You should too. It's right next to Patterson park with so many parking spaces nearby. I'm gonna run here. Soon.

Mmmmmm! Good ole' comfort food in the form of tacos and home-cooked chips. We wanted some tacos…read moreand this spot was close, rated high on Yelp, and that's all we needed to know. Don't let the outside deceive you. Once you walk in you'll smell the fresh cilantro and chile. It took a bit to translate the menu, but you'll figure it out. There are plenty of options. The server helped us figure it out and we were set. I ordered the El pastor tacos, beans & rice, and tortilla chips. The tacos were theeee best! What I loved the most is that the corn tortillas didn't fall apart!!! I hate it when I go to eat a taco and it falls apart. They cooked the tortillas enough so they held up, but were still soft. Did I already say how good the tacos were?! Along with the meat is cilantro, some onions, and you can top it with some green chili sauce. Sooooo good! The pico de Gallo was some of the best I've ever had. I know what you're thinking. How could you go wrong with pico de Gallo? Yeah, I wonder the same thing, but this pico was FRESH with just the right ratio of tomato, onion, cilantro, etc. Next time I'll order two of them. The chips are restaurant-made. That was our first indicator that the food was going to be ALL that we hoped it would be. AND it was. The beans were pinto beans. Memories from home and the ultimate comfort food. The were cooked perfectly with just enough seasoning. The rice was perfectly cooked too. This is the taco spot you need to try.
