Tacos de carnitas y de chorizo.
    Jeff J.

This rating is more like a 3.5 to be honest. I got some tacos and I thought they were pretty good. The carnitas were a bit dry but the flavor was still there. Also their online ordering system isn't really, the best, so I had to walk in and order in person and the cashier was super nice and super helpful. I genuinely think my issue was with the price of the taco. Each taco which is essentially a street taco was about 4.50, and I spent pretty much 18 dollars for 4 tacos which just feels like too much for what it was, and because the carnitas was a little dry I really couldn't justify the price the for the food. But I'm certainly willing to explore the menu a bit more because like I said, the online options don't pale in comparison to what they actually offer! They have plenty of specials like birria ramen and actual taco specials as well but for what I got, I was paying platter price for a la carte and I'm just a little fussy about it!

Wanted to try this place for awhile now and it was wonderful! Our server was very attentive and the food came out quickly. Food was pretty good we both got the chicken fajitas which were great portions! Would love to see this place get more love :) *photos were taken after eating a little bit *

This place is newly opened, and my wife really wanted to try it. We came in and we're greeted by the staff who is super friendly. The food was delicious. My wife and I both got the Carne Asada and it did not disappoint. The chips and salsa were amazing. I felt the price is very reasonable for what you received. The chips were so amazing that I accidentally filled up on chips, lol. I only was able to eat half my burrito. Lol. That just means that I get to enjoy the restaurant again when I get home later. My wife stated " I think I know where I want to come for my birthday" which saved me a whole lotta thinking. Lol. The atmosphere is very comfortable . Will do doubt be back soon.

Not because of the smoking, but because Taco Bell is trash. You're better than that. Tacos Tolteca is amazing. We've been trying some other local places recently, but made our triumphant return last night, on our way to do some laundry. I got the chicken chimichanga - fried. It comes covered in cheese sauce, with a glorious side of refried beans and some rice. Do yourself the favor and get a container of their freshly made pico de gallo, too. My boyfriend got the Gordo Burrito (Large burrito stuffed with grilled chicken, chorizo, refried beans, Spanish rice and pico de gallo. Covered with queso dip). And some nachos (Nacho chips topped with your choice of meat, queso dip, lettuce, sour cream, and pico de gallo. + .99 for Guacamole) to share - but we were too full up to eat them, so we brought them home. Those are gonna be great with a cocktail! Would definitely recommend!!

This last time, I tried their birria for the first time, which is my go to the last couple of years when eating Mexican, and was genuinely shocked by how bad it was. The meat, while tender, was flavorless, as was the broth and the cheese used for the quesabirria was American. I took two more tentative bites after the first one because I thought, there is no way they're using American cheese. No, they definitely are. I ended up calling because I was disappointed that I didn't have anything to eat for lunch (it was that bad, which is remarkable when you're talking about tacos), and the staff confirmed, with no irony, that they use white American and further, that they use it on all their dishes. Crazy. I'd also ordered lunch for the staff of a local business who had been really kind to me recently, so I can only hope their food wasn't anything like mine. I probably won't try them again, but hoping their sister restaurant, La Tolteca hasn't similarly declined.
