Immaculate (but make sure you get mild if you want to enjoy without chugging water every 30 seconds LOL). I've also tried their cold noodle salad special and it was to die for. This food truck provides QUALITY meals at an amazing price and has some of the best costumer service in the industry. I really can't say enough good things about them. Oh wow - we bought some food from the truck. It was delicious. We had the fresh rolls, fried rolls and sticky rice. All of this was so good - I wasn't expecting it. Went to Delaney Park today with my family to check out all of the amazing cars they had at car show. The gentleman was very polite and patient as I was fighting the urge to order the entire menu . I ordered the shrimp fried rice, Thai tea, fresh rolls, & fried rolls. Everything was delicious, fresh, piping hot, and didn't lack any flavor. Where have you been all my life?! I've known about Papaya Tree for a while. They are usually at Cynosure brewing on Sundays. But, we are usually trying to get back into Anchorage on Sunday, and...early brewery closing times being what they are...have been unable to try Papaya Tree. To know where they are on a given day, you have to check their Facebook page! Anyway, Cynosure was going to be closed for Easter, and I got my 2nd COVID shot the day before Easter...so the stars aligned and we went to Cyno to celebrate...and Papaya was there! First: the folks that run this are tired with IHOHD (International House of Hot Dogs) for being the friendliest business owners in all of Anchorage. They are incredible! Second: I love their slogan "unmessed with Asian street food". I'm not at all an expert but the food seems to be largely Thai-focused with some Lao and Vietnam influences. The food is incredible! Their take on some of these classics (Pad Thai) is the best I've had in Anchorage. And their skewers are...also the best I've had in Anchorage! I will definitely be back, I'll make it a point to head to Cyno on Sundays now, if I can! read more

Found this place by accident when we were checking out a business nextdoor. Small menu of items - IMMEDIATELY settled on the Pad Thai since so many places in town dont make it properly I was hoping it would be good. Aslo got garlic chicken for my honey and a Thai Tea. I ordered and since it was super cold out the gentleman who waited on me took my number so I could wait in my car. He texted me a short time later. The pad thai was excellent, and the portion was enormous. I would not order the Thai Tea again, there was something just not quite right about it. It wasn't bad, just not how I like it. My husband liked his garlic chicken, but he did note that Ray's is better (but he is also very much a creature of habit.) I noticed a sign that indicated Door Dash is an option, so that's cool for a food truck. read more

We tried them at the Gold Nugget Triathlon today, and they had excellent food. We had the basil shrimp, fresh rolls, and chicken skewers. The basil shrimp was very flavorful, a little spicy, but perfect for our palates. The rolls were good, and similar to others we've had with fresh basil. There is a small sliver of fried spam rolled inside, which was a little surprising , but it was still good. The highlight however, was the chicken skewers. Excellent, with a little crispy skin on the outside. We almost went back for seconds, but decided to try again another time. Highly recommend! read more

New Asian food truck is delicious. Their motto is "unmessed with Asian Street Food.". Was everything I hoped for, Pork skewers were tender and flavorful. Dipping sauce was a perfect compliment. I order the pad Thai from here while they were set up at King Street Brewing on a Friday evening. They served up a heathy portion, and it hit the spot. The staff were friendly and it didn't take forever to prepare the food. Is like to try more dishes from here. Prices were very reasonable for a food truck. read more

Hit up their food truck at Truckin Tuesday for some chicken skewers. Now I wished my whole family would have ordered from that truck versus some of the other underwhelming options. Went today for the opening. Did a large order for Mother's Day. Be patient with them as it's the first time out, you might have to wait awhile for your food. I waited an hour and 10 mins for 8 food items and 3 Thai teas. The Thai tea was a little salty, I asked a few people and they agreed. I did mentioned it to the man who took my order just so they knew. The spring rolls were good but I thought they had shrimp in them but none of the 3 I ordered had any shrimp and the sauce for it was a little too spicy for me and my family. The papaya salad was too spicy for me. It had potential and I did ask for a smaller chili but I couldn't continue after the first bite my mouth and tongue were on fire. The kao piaek sen, my whole family loved it. I've always wanted to try it but I think it lacked flavored a little but I still enjoyed it because the noodles were very bouncy and soft. My mom loved her pork skewers and sticky rice! I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again especially since it was the grand opening. Kind people and did very well for how many people came around 11am. We need more asian food trucks so this experience was about a 60/100 for me. I'll probably try again after a few weeks to compare. read more

If there were 10 stars for customer service Papaya Tree would get 100. We sat outside in the glorious sun at Cynosure Brewery (shout out to their Helles beer!) and ordered Pad Thai; the special, which was mussels with basil and sticky rice; and fresh rolls. The food was mouthwateringly delectable! The service excellent! Noi and Dao (sorry for spelling?!?) were stellar, remembering customer names -- some loyal customers came just for the food truck and not for Cynosure, and Noi greeted them by name. They are currently at Cynosure on Saturdays and on Friday's at King Street Brewery. You can't go wrong. read more

Our family of 7 visited the Papaya Tree food truck and ate upstairs at Ravens Ring. The owners were sooo friendly and the food was awesome! I had a (spicy!) Papaya salad with sticky rice, which was delicious. Others enjoyed their chicken skewers and we got a few orders of shrimp fresh rolls, and they threw in an extra :) the Thai tea was amazing.
