The dumplings here are different in comparison to the Czech dumplings that Bohemian Cafe served; more bite-sized, and slightly different in texture. Very good in taste nonetheless, along with the pork roast, mashed potatoes and sauerkraut that was served with it. I also tried out a cake that they described as a "Croatian spice cake" - not sure what the actual name of the cake is but it was very rich in flavor. This place is definitely worth trying out - I highly recommend doing so when they are serving food.

I have been there in the past when they were having an antique vendor sale in the hall. They always advertise upcoming activities on Facebook and on a sign that faces 36th street. For the last year I've been watching the signs as they advertise different dinners and fish fry occasions, but I always forget to stop in and try it. This time I saw they were serving dumplings and sauerkraut. I LIVE for dumplings and sauerkraut! I will try any kind of sauerkraut that I see in the store, but they never seem to live up to the "real thing". I wrote a note on my calendar to make sure that I didn't miss their latest dinner. I got there early and the line was already outside the door. I figured it must be worth it! I got in the line and I could see that there were already 20 something people in front of me, just to get inside the building. Once you get inside the building, you buy a ticket inside the door. They do accept both cash and credit/debit cards and the dinners were 11 dollars. With the line being so long, it actually went pretty fast! All of the people were SUPER nice. The guy who took my credit card was joking and really funny. When I got up to the serving line, you can choose to eat there or take a dinner with you. I took mine with me. You get a choice of different desserts and I took the spice cake. The pork, the dumplings and sauerkraut.....OMG....Yum...Yum...that's all I can say! How long must I wait for the next dinner! I have found some amazing bargains at this location, and they are constantly putting new items out. I stop by often on my lunch breaks, and there are usually 2 or 3 carts of "new" merchandise being shelved. The carts are where to find the best deals! The store is very clean and very organized. The general layout is easy enough to figure out, and things are priced fairly. Most children's clothing is $1.59, which is a decent deal to begin with, but there are also two different tag color sales running weekly - one being $.49 and the other $.99. I buy everything from books, DVDs, housewares, clothing, linens... The most I've paid for an item is $9.99, and that was a pair of like new Nike AirMax 90s. My kid was super excited! Check it out! Do your part to reduce the harm from the textile industry and buy used.

This is the best Goodwill I have been to around the Omaha area, and let me tell…read moreyou that I should know because Goodwill has been the only place I have been going into for the past month and I know for a fact that I have made it to more than half of them here. I went here with my brother and it was our first time going to this one, but we'll probably be back more often now. It was jaw-dropping when we first walked in there because we were just expecting another plain Goodwill with dim lighting and things all over the place, but nope, we were in for a surprise. The floor was spotless and maintained not a single item was on it. The lighting was stunning, it was bright and you could see everything clearly. The pricing seemed fair, but then again my brother and I usually don't look at clothing at any Goodwill unless it catches our attention or if it's around halloween or christmas time. The service compared to the other Goodwill's wasn't extraordinary, the cashiers were yelling at each from one register to another and talking about their weekend, but hey I don't mind because of how fantastic the store looked, and because they were honestly doing their job of ringing people up. 10/10 would recommend
