Don't know what's been going on. We use to love Papi's. Last time food was not up to their normal quality. This time was not great but everything was cold when delivered. Even the pizza. Very disappointed. I don't usually even call to complain but spent $80 on food so I did. Nothing done to fix my complaints. Guess it's time to switch places. And we really liked their food. Tried something different and was sadly disappointed with this place. Ordered a pizza with meatballs, pepperoni, and mushrooms. There was hardly any cheese on it and the sauce was so liquidy, it was dripping off the slices. I will say the crust was cooked decently, crispy but not burnt to oblivion. 1st order from this place for delivery on Saturday at 4:08pm. They didn't have turkey pepperoni at 4:22, they call me. Since I don't eat beef, I told her take it off - meaning the turkey pepperoni charge, so no confirmation she removed the whole pizza not the charge...so the charge goes from 40.61 to 21.74... it didn't make sense when I saw the charge...so I called to fix it.... 5:15 still waiting for my pizza... the mozzarella sticks were disgustingly cold - they were gross. We have just moved to the area, had 2 moving trucks worth of stuff to unload and 8 hungry over worked guys to feed. I did a quick google search and this was the first place that popped up. The pizza was a step above the pizza that was served at school lunches. Their 'hot wings' were not even close to hot. Franks Hot sauce has better flavor. The other apps we ordered all came cold and had to be reheated in the microwave. The 'hoagies' (I'm from North Jersey we call them subs - to which every time i called it a sub he corrected me by saying "you mean hoagie") had less meat on them then a subway sub. New to the area- close by figured I'd try it out. Came one night about two weeks ago just for a couple slices- selections is minimal and store front is very tiny- but the pizza was really good. Thin crust and no flavors were overwhelming. Then I ordered a plain pie for pick-up. Fast service, and pizza was good. No grease or oil buildup at all. Let's start with how long it took to get delivered. They said 45 minutes. It ended up taking twice as long. Then the food was ICE cold. we had to put everything in the oven. I have pizza ingredients. I could have done the same exact thing for way cheaper. The cheese fries were a giant ball of mush. When we called to complain they could care less. Chuckie cheeses pizza was better than this. 7-11 pizza is better than this. I spent WAY too MUCH money for such carp service and food. What a waste of time and it ruined family night. Thanks guys. While they did make a whole pie for us on the spot because we ordered 4 slices, it was dough-y and the sauce and cheese formed a soupy mixture on the top that just fell off when picked up. It was hot and service was friendly, but the pizza was not good. Not sure if it was just the attempt to make it quickly for us, but didn't enjoy it at all. What was good was the breadsticks. Worst service! Called at 11:15 to order food the man that answered said it would be here in 45 min. I called at 1215 because the pizza still had not arrived the man I spoke to the same one that took my order said they would be here in a few min that they didn't open until 12 which makes no sense seeing as how if you weren't open until 12 then why are you taking orders and telling customers you will be there for delivery when you open! But I let that go under the impression that they would be here in a few min fast forward 20 minutes still no food! So I call again and he assures me the food will be here in a few min again and try's to say that it's only been 45 min and that the road conditions are bad ( it was sprinkling out) I explain to him that my kids have been waiting for almost an hour and a half and are hungry that if he wouldn't be here in that time frame he needs to let me know so that I can figure something else out he said they were almost here the food didn't show up for another 20 minutes the pizza was cold as well as the manicotti and French fries will never order from them again worst customer service I have ever had! Will NEVER order from papis again, they nasty people. It took 2 hours for a medium pizza and chicken nuggets. I called twice to ask about my order and they hung up on me both times.
