I always pass by this little pizza spot on my way to the Jersey shore and I said one day I will try it. Vincentown is not some bustling place so I was a little concerned. I was hungry one day and just decided to try it. I ordered two whole pizzas for the family and it was good. Hard, thin crust. Very cheesy. Good amount of pepperoni. I also ordered a sausage parm sandwich and that was good. Since this place is very close to me I will probably be going back. Small clean pizza spot but the area they are in, I'm surprised they get enough business to stay open. It's not in a heavy traffic area. They must do a lot of takeout read more

Meh. In the absolute heart of red state, Covid denying, Trump country NJ, rests this little pizzeria right on Main St. We had an appointment in the area, and with options being slim to none, and our time being even less, we decided to come in to grab a quick bite. The first thing I noticed walking in was the mask situation; or rather, the lack thereof. The employees had no masks, and even though the tables were separated, I'd say that there wasn't really any REAL regard for the Coronavirus here. I'd say that 8 out of the next 10 people that came in didn't wear masks either. Not as big an issue for the Misses and I, as we both are vaccinated, but it is worth noting that Covid protocols don't hold much weight here. On to the food: the misses got a slice of sausage pizza, and I got an italian hoagie, with a side of fries on the side. The pizza was "meh," and the hoagie looked good, and tasted fresh, but it was literally a ham sandwich with provolone cheese. It was the kind of sandwich you'd make at home, except it was $8, and came with NOTHING. The fries, much like everything else here, were just ok. The slice, sammie, fries, 2 iced teas and a water ran us $21. The proprietors were nice enough, if in a very, "whatt'll-it-be, mack?" kind of way, and everything came out quick and with no fuss. I was visiting my dad and while waiting for him to arrive home to let me intl the house I decided that I needed to have real Jersey pizza before heading back to Hawaii (where Costco, Pizza Hut, and Papa John's are the most popular pizza). Looked up some reviews and decided on Massimo's. When I got there I suddenly wanted a cheesesteak. Ended up ordering a cheesesteak pizza and was very happy I did. Best food/service! We have been looking for good New Jersey pizza since we moved back here. We drove by Massimos and decided to give it a chance. We ordered a fresh cheese pie, and omg we wanted to eat it in the car it smelt so good. And it was amazing! My four year old had two slices! The slices are huge. I decided I wanted to use their catering option for my party. I got carried away with family issues that I forgot to order the food the day before. I called the day of my party and they had my order ready within hours. I was so relieved and everyone loved the food. The bbq wings are my favorite! Massimo's (formerly Riviera Pizza) has been our go-to pizza shop for many years. Placed an order last week for pickup, walked in, and not one employee in the whole place was wearing a mask. My husband and I are both at high risk of suffering serious illness or death from COVID, and the fact that these owners could care less about spreading this virus is unfathomable. I have lived in Medford for 10 years and previously having lived in north Jersey very close to NYC (the best pizza on earth) I have been mildly to extremely disappointed with the pizzerias in this area. I have heard about Massimo's for a while, but had yet to try it mainly because it's about 15 minutes away. We finally went recently and I can easily say it's the best pizza I have had in south Jersey, sorry it's still not NYC pizza, but excellent by any standards. The crust is just the right thickness or thinness if you will, very very good pizza. I was also pleasantly surprised by the wings, delicious. Service is very friendly and helpful. Speaking of the pizza it was very delicious but it wasn't worth the scam that we got. two days after purchasing from them I found out they charged me $40 for one pizza that pizza was only worth about $27 they tell me it's an oversight they tell me it's a mistake but I have to call my bank I have to get my bank's records and I have to get everything to do the leg work because somebody stole money from me. because they thought out of towners weren't going to notice until they were home well little did they know we're here for 6 months building planes for one of the airports so guess who's coming with all the information . 40$ isnt an oversight it's theft. You don't oversight exactly $40.00. theft isn't a joke. Taking advantage of people who aren't from here is sad. Also I'm having to do all the work for their employees theft. We will be seeing ya with the paperwork you asked for. The pizza was 5 stars but the theft Made me never wanna trust them again. It's sad to make the customer fix your employer mistake. $27.00 looks nothing like $40.00 on a keypad. Common sense. Wow just wow. 2 days in jersey and I was already jacked by a pizza place no less. Great pizza at a reasonable price. It's easy to tell they use very good, fresh ingredients. My friends say they have awesome sandwiches as well. Staff is friendly and service is quick. They have a nice small dining room if you would like to eat-in, but they are right around the corner from me so I always do take-out and am able to pick it up in 15 minutes. read more

I really love this place. I've been getting food here for over 10 years (it used to be called Riviera up until last year, same owner still though) and I love it. The owner is usually the guy making the pizza and is always friendly and does an awesome job. My go-to pizza here is Pepperoni, garlic and onion which is fantastic. Not to be missed is their sausage pizza - sometimes we get it with olives or mushrooms or both, but it doesn't matter, it's the sausage and the way they cook it that makes it. They have excellent penne vodka, really good chicken parm, fantastic calzones and a very good buffalo pizza as well. They sell what I like to call 'the big mozzarella sticks' meaning the ones that are large and rectangular and seem to be more of a batter..they also have jalapeno poppers that are good. One of my favorite things is the garlic bread with sauce that they give you with meals - SO GOOD! I have always appreciated the way they treat their customers and the role they fill in the middle of our little town, we are really lucky to have them. read more
