Today was our first time trying Papi's and WOW. The service was unbelievably great. We received our food in record time and it was piping hot. We must have just beat the lunch crowd because it started filling up fast as we were leaving. My only complaint is that the queso was pretty watery and thin, but everything else was great. We had the mixed grill, beef fajita chimichanga, and the grande with cheese enchiladas. Will definitely be back! read more

Really solid all around. Our server was great and the food was good. He constantly checked up on us and was able to makes the Texas burrito vegetarian for me, which I thoroughly enjoyed. No complaints. Check this place out for good Mexican food when in the area. read more

I loved the salsa - warn and a great flavor. I had the lunch burrito meal. Service was fast. The burrito had a cheese sauce on it which is always good - really soft mentee cheese not the fake orange kind. Beans and rice were good. Lots of big onion slices in burrito and rice. Wellllll....against my better judgement, I ordered a green chili chicken enchilada plate. The chicken was chopped, not shredded. The enchiladas were seasoned with a green chili sauce that was overwhelming. I could imagine the only people that would eat this would be people who like to brag about how much chili sauce they can tolerate. Needless to say, my mouth was fairly burning, but since I was hungry I ate it. They also had a chicken-and-sour-cream plate. Now, if they could combine the two plates, I'd say they'd have a winner! Amazing new restaurant in town! This is the authentic Mexican food I've been looking for! Fresh ingredients, guacamole made fresh not from a bag. Everything we had was amazing!!! The owners and service were delightful! The beef and chicken fajitas with poblanos and onions were perfect. I had a taste of the chicken tortilla soup. Best I've ever had! The kids loved the blanco cheese sauce with the chips. The chili relleno with chicken was delicious. Everyone loved what they got and we finished off with great sopapillas. It's a new restaurant so give them a break on the etched glass steak sign and the liquor license... Definitely a new regular spot for our family. read more

Traveling through town so we decided to stop and we are so glad we did. The food was excellent and very tasty. Edward was our server and he was outstanding. He recommended several food items and was very knowledgeable. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was nice. The Diablo sauce was on fire but very palatable. First time eating here, food was amazing it's TexMex. Server was nice he explained the menu, he spoke a little Spanish, so he gave a few recommendations very helpful. I had #35 Crispy taco and 2 Cheese Enchiladas with rice and beans, my wife had the flautas, and my teen had the queso with chips. When the sign in the window says "steaks and burgers" you expect that to be on the menu. Not generic Tex-Mex food that can be found at any run of the meal restaurant. When we asked about it we were told that it was left over from the previous restaurant. Well, if you take over a restaurant and have something different, scrape the sign off the window. We had only ordered a sweet tea and water and asked for the bill. It was nearly $4! The false advertising alone will keep us from ever coming back. read more

Went last week to try fajitas. Disappointing they didn't come with rice, cheese, and sour cream like other restaurants do. Couple pieces of the beef were hard and couldn't eat. I will go back but won't ever get the fajitas. read more

The food is flat out excellent. Service is friendly. Ambience needs working on. Back when this was Cowboy Jack's and Liberty Bell, the ambience was nice because of the low lighting. Now, they have the fluorescent lighting on and it really doesn't work well. The low lighting used to make it cozy and comfortable. That's my only complaint. Dim those lights! :) read more

The place was packed on Friday night but the staff were prompt to get our drinks and take our order. The food was hot and tasted great.
