The restaurant itself is beautiful and very clean. We actually felt a little underdressed when we walked in, but they treated us like we fit right in, even though we showed up in sweats. We started with the garlic dip, which was super garlicky, cheesy, and absolutely delicious--a must-try. My wife ordered the Mill House Pasta, which was rich, cheesy, and full of flavor, with perfectly cooked chicken and shrimp. I ordered a burger that was slightly on the dry side but still very tasty, and the truffle fries were fantastic--crispy, flavorful, and addictive. Overall, it was easily a 4.5-star visit with great service, great food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. And we did go back-one week later-this time sitting at the bar. We both ordered cocktails, and the drinks were excellent. I had two different styles of Old Fashioneds and really enjoyed both. My wife had two martinis and loved them. For food, we tried the chicken Caesar wrap with fries, and my wife ordered the half sandwich and salad combo. The wrap was honestly one of the best I've ever had--the chicken had a great char, and there was plenty of dressing. My wife really enjoyed her BLT; it had the perfect amount of bacon and was put together really well. At this point, I think we've found our new go-to spot in Downtown Lufkin. Can't wait to go back!

This place is located in Montgomery technically but is right next to Conroe you can see the lake driving up it was so beautiful. It's a prohibition style speakeasy with the hidden door and the ambiance is so beautiful inside with an amazing bar and just a great vibe. We loved how the waitresses were dressed in dresses from the time it was so classy and fun. And we went on a night they had live music and it was sooo good. Now let's talk about the drinks there were so many choices of cocktails bourbon whiskey you name it. I let the waitress pick mine it was something with pear and it was yummy. We both loved our drinks. My husband loved his old fashion. The food was absolutely delicious we enjoyed the crab toast and lamb lollipop and the Chilean sea bass which were all to die for. Oh and Lavendar creme brûlée for dessert. We met Rob and his wife the owners who are the nicest people and now we can't wait to come back with friends to salsa night. If you're looking for a nice dinner spot with great drinks food and music on certain nights just the best service you have to come try this location you won't be disappointed. It made our anniversary special.

Our waitress was admittedly new, but when our food arrived an hour and a half later, it was so disappointing. Three of us ordered ribeyes, and none of them were cooked to our order; plus, they were charred on the bottom & sides. The wagyu burger was burned as well. We also ordered a bottle of wine, but the first 3 choices were out of stock!? Really? Our choice was to jump into a $60.00 or $80.00 bottle. The service team never checked in on how our food tasted or how we were doing. It's like they knew that they ruined our dinner and experience. About this, they call it a speakeasy because the doorway is a bookcase that is as obvious as the nose on your face. The dude hosting the stand at the door, did not even ask if we enjoyed ourselves. For these prices, they should be ashamed of the food they served us. Seriously! Do not waste a dime here. I am making sure everyone I know does not make the mistake we did.
