We had the Caramelized Chicken Lombardi served with green beans and mixed vegetables. The balsamic that the chicken was cooked was excellent! The other plate we had was the Eggplant Parmigiana. Served with pasta, and do good. We had a "dip" appetizer with the fresh homemade bread before our meal. This is a must!!! So flavorful! Our waitress was so helpful and gave us her opinions on different foods. The meal was delivered very fast, but served fresh and hot. We had a lovely lunch at Auntie Pasta's. Our waiter Baxter was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed their complimentary hot bread with oil and garlic. I had a dirty martini which was done just right. I had the Chicken piccata which I was able to have topping their garlic mashed potatoes instead of pasta. It was so delicious. My lunch mates enjoyed the crab cakes, Cesar salad and the skinny Vinny. This is a nice restaurant for groups. They have plenty of parking. My wife and I have been coming here since we were SFA students over 20 years ago. It's a nice place for a romantic Italian dinner. We visited on Valentine's Day and took our daughter. We had a 30 min wait for our table of 3. The table tops were covered with pink paper, which my daughter loved. My wife ordered a Bellini but the waitress forgot to bring it out until the meal came. My wife's meal was also delayed coming out, so my daughter and I waited for hers to come out before eating (5-7 min). My daughter enjoyed her spaghetti and meatballs. I enjoyed my chicken fettuccine Alfredo. My wife loved her spicy pasta once it came out. Service was slow, but it was a busy night. Definitely worth checking out. read more

Quite underwhelming. The started bread was great. Freshly baked and perfectly crispy. The rest of the food was just okay. I felt that the food in general lacked seasoning and it was just meh. The menu has some great choices, I am curious about the meatloaf (bc of one review on it saying it's iffy and that's what I wanted). I am going with the wedge salad and pizza italiano TOGO, simple and you can order quickly at the bar. The place is busy on a Saturday night but it looks like there is plenty of space to accommodate lots of large groups. There are tv screens at the bar playing sports. Lots of parking. On a last note, I wish we could have ate here after coming in and seeing the huge patio. Makes me think I could bring my dogs. But yeah Sophia offered loaf bread with my togo order which makes this as close to dine in experience as possible from the hotel. Above and beyond! Food is terrible! Italian nachos are burnt fried wonton chips, Alfredo was non existent on them, and the pepperoncini's are the spicy ones. We didn't finish them. The Mahi was so bad. They don't use fresh mushrooms. My boyfriend took a bite and spit it out. Green beans under cooked, and Mac and Cheese was dry. The server was good until we expressed the food was bad. She took my meal off the ticket, but rolled her eyes as she walked away from our table. We still tipped on the amount before the Mahi was comped. Not sure why this place was packed. We've dined here for many times over the past 10 years and nothing has changed, which is probably good considering the customer base. Starting off, the place is super cold and wasn't very pleasing to be in. The tables were nice and spacious and chairs were pretty comfortable. When our waiter came, he was very patient and knew his way around the menu. The menu is full of options and very inviting. I took the colizzi combo as that's what is said to be popular. It comes with lasagna, fettuccine alfredo, and chicken alfrado. The pasta was overall good but it was dry and not super flavorful. I also ordered italian raspberry soda which was delicious. This place is called american-italian but there was just too much mix of american and not much usual italian flavors. We've been fortunate enough to eat here the last two weeks. I ordered the shrimp carbonara. The pasta and the sauce is terrific. However, the shrimp have been over cooked both time. The first time I didn't say anything. The second time I did tell the waitress and she had the shrimp replaced. They were still overcooked and was like chewing rubber erasers. This is my second visit here from out of town and I was very happy we went back. My family and I went at an odd hour so the restaurant was relatively empty. We had wonderful service although I forgot the waitresses name. She was very helpful, attentive, and sweet. She took great care of us. The restaurant is a rustic look with a more formal (but not fine dining) look on the inside. The food came out quickly and tasted fresh. We ordered the cheese stick appetizer which had a great crispy breading. We all ordered various dishes. Build your own pasta dishes, lasagna, and Vinny's skinny pasta. The vegetable in the skinny pasta tasted well seasoned and the pasta was cooked just slightly past al dente but maybe just by 30 seconds! Portions were medium to large but the majority of us finished our food. Everyone was happy with their dishes. I appreciated the variety on the menu and there was something for everyone, including myself as a vegetarian! The only wrinkle in the visit was my holiday drink. I had the holiday Moscow mule (supposed to be peppermint flavored) which was way too strong. The alcohol overpowered all the other flavors and I would have never known if was supposed to be a holiday drink. I believe this is likely a recipe issue as a family member said they had this drink before and had the same experience. I added some limes to the drink and this made it bearable. I would suggest a recipe revision for next year ...possibly a change to a cranberry Moscow mule instead. Overall, great experience with food and service. Fantastic - Italian and more! We were traveling and getting tired of mediocre food. What a welcome surprise. Suzanne wasn't very hungry so she ordered the Classic Wedge. I got the Caramelized Chicken Lombardi. A warm baguette in a paper sack along with olive oil and roasted garlic came quickly - tasty! Both dishes used an excellent grade of balsamic vinegar. Her wedge was icy cold, including the plate. My 3 pieces of breaded breast meat on angel hair pasta were seared with a reduction of the balsamic vinegar and were spectacular. The waitresses shirt said "It 's all good!" But that was not the case last night. When we ordered she told us that the kitchen was running behind about 15 minutes. After an hour and fifteen minutes, we asked her for an update on our order and she told us that two cooks quit and that the kitchen was swamped with orders. Lots of tables around us were waiting for food. Some started canceling their orders so we did too. The fact that they never told us and let us order in the first place annoyed us. And the fact that they charged us for the salads and appetizers we ate really raised our dander. I'm sure they lost a lot of business last night and I am sure that many folks like us will be unlikely to give them another chance.
