Can we say good. My only complaint is someone forgot my mild sauce and hot sauce. But besides that the food was good. The fish was crispy and good. I highly recommend. Go get you some!

Coupon scam!!!!!!!!!! 10/2021 Counter person named Kattiana Pulled up this location as I have enjoyed the Minneapolis location in the past. They usually have 2 or 3 coupons on the website and I ordered 3 hot dogs. I told her I had a coupon for "buy 2, get a 3rd free" and showed it to her on my phone. They only made 2 hot dogs and struggling with communications, she asked the cook what she should do. After a brief conversation in Spanish, she then told me the coupon is no good unless I print it. No where was this posted as a requirement. They do state only 1 coupon can be be used but nothing about printing of a coupon for them to accept it. Completely embarrassing in front of other customers for me trying to communicate with them to honor their companies coupon, so I let them bully me into submission. I'll stick to the Minneapolis location as they honor their companies coupons.

I went to this place because of two reasons... 1. the Yelp reviews were almost so i wanted to see what it was all about 2. I was starving and had just gone to U of M Family Physicians for a check up down the road.... I asked the nurses if they had recommendations... She said Pappy's. So we went! Very New Yorker service... No real nicities but straight business... Here's your food fast and go away kind of attitude. I had the Chessesteak... made to order. Yum. Fries were crispy! They even had hot sauce ready to go. This is a really good location for a restaurant and the food is fresh. I highly recommend it.

Reliable and delicious. I have had the cheese curds, fries, tilapia and catfish many times and it's always been perfect.

We both ordered the Spicy pepper Bloody Mary $10 .9 5 Pepper infused vodka, house bloody mix, candied bacon, cheese, pickle & olive skewer. Very flavorful and loved the extras with the beverage. We split the avocado toast with poached eggs &13.9 5. Toasted multi-grain bread, crispy prosciutto, tomato, baby spring greens, two poached eggs, everything bagel seasoning, side of fruit. Poached eggs cooked perfectly. We also split the Prime Rib Hash $16 .95. Tender beef, potatoes, bell pepper, yellow onion, poached eggs, hollandaise, toast, chives. Poached eggs cooked perfectly. This dish was very flavorful. The beef, although cut in small cubes, was a little more tough than I expected but they were still tasty. The sauce was very flavorful. We enjoyed our brunch and will stop in again should we be in the area.

First of all we found this place on Yelp and landed on it because of the high reviews and how close it was to our airbnb. I was a bit worried about a wait as it looked popular but with two people we were able to get in pretty quick (less than 5 min wait) on a Sunday morning. It was packed though, so there might be a wait. Space is at a premium in this building and despite being a bit crammed in it was still a great experience overall. Honestly everything was wonderful. The server: A+, ambiance: great, food: holy hell it was delicious. I had some sort of benedict that came on cornbread and was paired with some incredible hashbrowns. Chef's kiss. I also ordered a specialty mocha for fun and it also did not disappoint. This place is a slam dunk for breakfast. If you live in the twin cities and you haven't eaten here yet what are you doing!?

I have seen people argue with the owner. It's a small place and he values his staff so much that he will not opt for income over his staff's mental health or stress level. I admire that so much. Now the good: the food was absolutely incredible. Easily a 10/10. Our group of five had a variety of dishes; the Marma burger, Rosa fettuccine, pesto penne, walleye, and Bang Bang shrimp - and every single one was excellent. The whipped feta and Brussels sprouts were standouts and a must-order. The atmosphere is beautiful and inviting, and our service was fantastic; attentive, friendly, and seamless. That said, the 90-minute table limit made the experience feel rushed. With five people ordering drinks, appetizers, and entrées, it's just not realistic to have a relaxed dinner in that timeframe. We didn't even have time for dessert before being asked to wrap up. What made it more frustrating was that tables of four across from us were seated before we arrived and were still comfortably enjoying their meals while we were being rushed out. Bottom line: amazing food and great service, but if you're looking for a leisurely, relaxing dinner - especially with a group - this may not be the best fit. Go for the food, just be prepared for the pace.

Loved the charcuterie especially the cheeses, but do wish the bread was sliced better. The potato wedges were piping hot but a bit too thick on the potato for me. We finally got seated and was pretty disappointed as I saw that the table they sat us at was open the entire time we were at the bar. I was told by the hostess that someone was sitting at our table when we arrived, but clearly that was not true. I was grateful that they didn't make us eat off the Restaurant Week menu and I got the gargenelli pasta. It was a nice pasta dish with the goat cheese and the toasty bread crumbs. I didn't taste any of the n'duja though the waitress said it was in the sauce. Overall a nice dinner but do wish the service was as good as it was in the bar area.
