I'm giving it a fiver yall! I don't always do that but it's safe to give burger dive a A++. We received gift card from the DICKs sporting goods grand opening that we were invited to and took advantage for lunch. Thanks for the gift card for @burgerdivemn These burgers were Seasoned smash burgers were smashingggg House burger Onion burger BLT burger I had the wedge burger with blue cheese dressing it was delicious the burgers were perfectly seasoned with a crispy crust around the edges of the smash burger. I'm normally not big on ordering burgers when I'm out because I feel disappointed each time with lack of flavor despite all of the crazy toppings but burger dive delivered. To top it off our cashier was dressed as a banana - that was the best!

Small menu. Fairly quick service. Order at register and seat yourself. Burger was tasty but only served with pickles and an onion dill sauce. Would have been better if they offered a set up for those who want lettuce, tomatoes, and actual onions. The chicken sandwich was big although very bland but did actually have a tomato and lettuce. The jalapeño curds were not spicy unless you ate it with an actual jalapeño which was disappointing and it came with no sauce. Fries were also not exciting but made to taste okay with the Cajun seasoning. Pretty pricy for what we ordered. The place wasn't busy and easy to find seating. It appeared clean.

Turkey burgers have consistently disappointed me when I've had them in the past. But the "Give Thanks for Turkey Burger" from Burger Dive in the Rosedale Mall did not disappoint. Delicious!

Visited Potluck on a Saturday around 1:30 in the afternoon and decided to try some of the State "Fare" foods, including these Burger Curds from Burger Dive. This review is a reflection of their burger curds and not their regular menu. Wow. I didn't know what to expect with these "curds"- are they cheese? Burger bits? They looked cool either way. We grabbed two orders and they combined the order into one container which was nice. These Burger Curds are cheese curds covered in seasoning, burger pieces and pickles. They were awesome! The seasoning on these were fantastic, they tasted like a well seasoned patty. The pickles were a great touch as well. I wish these would've come with ketchup but otherwise tasted great. If this was a normal menu item I would definitely get them again.

    Looks better than it taste!

Terrible service waiting 30 minutes for some cold chicken tenders. They weren't busy at all, just a bunch employees talking in the back!

This place is an absolute GEM! I have had a lot of burgers in my time but the house burger here was the best burger I've ever had in my life!!! Seasoned to perfection! I would love to go to the actual burger dive restaurant in st Paul and have more menu items!!! Definitely recommend if you are a burger snob like myself!!! :)

    Takeout lobster roll

I've been to the one of off Randolph and I really enjoyed their House Burger. Now you might think I'm crazy because I didn't order a burger here. I ordered the lobster roll and I can tell you, I was not disappointed. I ordered the lobster roll to-go so they did not put it all together for me. In my takeout box was a beautiful toasted and buttered top split bun, a pickle spear, wedge of lemon, a small bag of original kettle chips and the lobster in its own container. In my opinion, they give a healthy amount of lobster. Inside, I found chunks of lobster tail and whole claws. The sauce that cover the lobster was not overwhelmingly creamy or thick. There were small pieces of diced cucumbers that added a nice crunch to contrast the soft lobster. Once you squeeze the lemon over your lobster meat and put in on the delicious bun, you're all set! The only thing I wished was different was that the lobster was chilled and a bit cold. I'm assuming that since I ordered it to-go they didn't heat up the lobster. If the lobster was heated up a little bit, then it would have been perfect. Don't be shy to order a lobster roll instead of a burger. I'd certainly do it again!

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Good selection on food. I really liked the cheese curd jalapeño. The burger was also very delicious. If you're in the mood for burgers, I would recommend this place.

Such a cool place! Feels like a neighborhood gem. Loved my burger. Fries crispy, drinks cold. Waitress was adorable.

Sadly I wasn't able…read moreto try their food, but the food from the @tipsysteer looked delectable in any case and I will need to visit again to give it a try. Aguavarita: This was a Gose that had agave and guava added which gave it a nice balance. The tartness from the core Gose sour style leveraged the sweetness of the agave / guava to taste nearly like a margarita. Hazebiscus: An extremely fruity and juicy Double Dry Hopped IPA. The use of this year's Pink Boots Blend (HBC 630, Idaho Gem, Loral, Talus, and Triumph) gave off raspberry and red currant on the aroma with a huge blast of grapefruit, citrus, and raspberry on the flavor. A medium hop bitterness rose in the finish. Very enjoyable DDH IPA in addition to $3 per pound of the hop blend donated to the Pink Boots Society scholarship fund (which High Pines used 44 pounds) Home Improvements: A black lager with sales being donated to Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity. Medium-thin body with a lot of roastiness for a lager. Pitch black, bitter, and refreshing. Beyond the roastiness, there are medium-low dark chocolate and roasted coffee beans on both the aroma and the flavor. Still refreshing on the warmer summer days.

The space is quite large with open seating - something I'd expect is great for a large group. I asked if we could combine some tables and the staff said they'd do it for us. We ended up having a table for 8. While more people in my group showed up than expected, we ended up adding a few more chairs. With the open seating and lots of tables available, we thought it would be fine. However, the staff didn't seem to be too happy with us. Our group had not gotten together in a while, so a couple of us had switched chairs to talk with different people. The server said in a very rude way, "You guys need to stop switching seats. I can't keep track of your orders and you want this on separate checks, right?" We had never asked for separate checks and I would have offered to pay on one check if it made it easier, but she left right after saying that. Towards the end of our stay, after paying and enjoying some last minute shakes (around 9:15pm, they close at 10), the same server started putting away the metal chairs VERY loudly and carelessly while we were still finishing up. We all watched her throw the chairs on top of each other as we stayed silent because we couldn't hear each other over her stacking them. We took the hint and left. Everyone inside the restaurant followed after. I assume because they, too, felt awkward as she was loudly cleaning up. The food was mid at best, the beer selection and unique combinations are great, but the bad service made the experience miserable. I didn't notice the server treating any other guests as bad as our table, so I am just not sure why she treated us the way she did. I definitely won't be back.

I started with the tequila and mezcal Old Fashioned, and it was fantastic. It was well-balanced, beautifully presented, and garnished perfectly. The food was equally impressive. The wings were delicious--crispy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. My only small note would be that the celery was a little limp. The Caesar salad has officially been added to my regular rotation. The jammy egg was cooked perfectly with a rich, yolky center that was still easy to slice. The Parmesan crisps were thoughtfully sized, adding great texture without being so large they scraped the roof of your mouth. The salad was evenly dressed, making every bite flavorful. Overall, excellent food, outstanding cocktails, and warm, attentive service. I'll definitely be back.

The restaurant itself is really beautiful and it's also very big. I guessed 200 seats plus patio. The space is very elegant, and clearly a lot of attention went into the design. I would describe it as kind of modern steakhouse vibe. Dark wood, faux fur and leather finishes, etc. Elegant. We were seated at a booth by the bar with a big window view of the patio and parking lot. We were immediately slightly offput because the marble ledge separating the booth from the window was dirty - grease and little food crumbs. Not the best first impression. The booth and table were both clean though. Our waitress, Ash, did provide good service but I would say honestly she was a bit too attentive if that makes sense, and she was also too chatty for us. There were several times when she lingered at our table to tell us something we didn't inquire about or to just talk about something. It was a bit annoying honestly. But the service itself was good. We were also visited by a manager during our visit. We each got a mocktail (it was lunch) but they have an impressive drink menu. I got the Red Rose which was really tasty, and my husband got the pineapple drink, which he also said was good. -We ordered the chimichuri shrimp appetizer, which was pretty banging. Four really large shrimp, each on its own piece of bruschetta, doused in chimichuri sauce. Even for me, with a low spice tolerance, it was just the right amount of spice and it was really really good. -We also got a round of oysters. The oysters themselves were fresh - no complaints there. When they were delivered to our table, the person did not tell us which variety was which (pretty standard when serving oysters at any restaurant). Because we eat oysters a lot and one of the varieties was sweet petite, it was fairly easy to tell which was which. But in my opinion, there should have been information given when the oysters were served. The other big issue was the shucking. Some of the oysters hadn't been fully separated from the shell, and we both found ourselves picking bits of shell from our mouths. We actually had a little discussion about the $6 price tag. I felt it was reasonable, my husband felt it was high. But for $6 apiece, the oysters need to be shucked properly and these were not. Ash also made a point to tell us all kinds of information we didn't ask for about their happy hour, which includes $3 oysters. That would be a steal if they learn how to shuck them. -I got the half french dip sandwich, and I was really glad I just ordered the half because what I was served was totally a whole sandwich in my book. The accompanying fries were delicious, crispy, deep golden brown and hot. The au jus served with the sandwich was slightly on the salty side but not terrible. And I do realize it's au jus. In all it was a pretty decent sandwich. -Hubby got the sea bass sandwich, which was also pretty tasty. I'll be honest and say that I think the entree sea bass would have been better. The fish was so good that I don't honestly think you needed the bun. But it was really good and fresh and delicious. We skipped dessert. In all, a pretty solid dining experience and the food was very good. But it was the minor things mentioned that bothered us, so 3 stars with room for improvement upon our return.
