I have more than 10 years of experience in wound care and taking care of a double amputee as well as doing the Hoyer lift. I was told someone would email and call me even if I didn't get the job. Nobody emailed me nobody called me I called them nobody answered. I thought the staff was nice the place was clean the residence outside they were playful and friendly. They probably didn't call me back because I told the front staff that a man in a wheelchair started to roll away he kept saying he wanted to leave and they asked if a staff member was outside guess someone is supposed to sit with them and no one was.

I applied online, but the receptionist told me I had to reapply in person on paper. After taking 10 minutes to fill out all the pages, I was then told to wait another 20 minutes for someone to come see me. After 20 minutes, I was told to go home and somebody would call me to reschedule because they were busy. I got a phone call a couple days later about my application, and they said they would reconnect with me in a week. It overall seemed so unorganized and not respectful of my time whatsoever. Do not apply or waste your time here.

Memorial City Health and Rehabilitation Center - Supposedly a bariatric bed. Notice how the mattress doesn't fit the bed frame. Asked and was never corrected.

This is a terrible horrible inhumane place to have your loved ones or to be employed with I seen…read morefirst how they treat the residents in this facility. I was employed there for a while and I was targeted because I would speak up against a lot of work place bullying and resident neglect.. I was not liked by none of the management staff..The "ADONs" on all the units don't care if your loved ones live or die and it's really sad..I've been a CNA for 8 years and this place is by far the worst place I've even seen..I've had conversations with many of the families that would come visit their loved one about reporting this facility to the state..the food sucks the residents will tell you how bad they dislike the food the meals would came late majority of the time and it's always nasty and cold and don't even follow some residents food care requirements some residents will try to run away because they hate it there..The management staff are y'all sleeping with each other behind closed doors they target certain employees (pretty females) the bully and mistreat them over how they look not to mention the nepotism in this place is crazy how they talk to staff residents and family members is unbelievable and unacceptable if you have loved ones in this facility I would advise you to get them outta there they are being abused neglected overall mistreated especially on unit 300 I wouldn't put my worst enemy in this place..oh make sure when you go visit your family member that u check to make sure they don't have 2 diapers on and make sure they get the right medication because at Memorial City they give the residents each others medicine..When I was working there I promise you I was taking care of the the residents as if they was my family I don't like the mistreatment of ppl in no type of way and I'm leaving this review to give yall some understanding about this facility it is a 0 star rating it's no good it's no good and I hope they get better management bcuz wymona(DON) is not good she doesn't care about how ppl are treat both ADON APRIL AND TRIMISHA don't care about your loved ones they sit in the conference room all day talking about the nursing staff with no concern about the health and welfare of the residents..this place needs a change in management because NOBODY CARES this place needs to be reported for negligence..Not to mention the fact that it's never no clean linens to care for the resident I had to dry a resident off with a gown after her shower do to the lack of supplies this facility has wipes are even limited to 1 pack per employee for the shift IMAGINE THAT not having the appropriate amount of supplies to provide the proper care that the residents deserve and families are paying for it's really sad to even see this happening to elderly people it turns my stomach put 1 star because it's required when writing a review but baby I wouldn't give this place NOTHING

My grandfather in his late 80's was transferred here to rehabilitate after a hospital stay. He has…read moresevere COPD & is on oxygen and needs nebulizer treatments several times a day. When he arrived here, he was given a very noisy oxygen machine which popped error codes 24 hours after being on it & was still not given any nebulizer treatments. He was in bad shape. Their pharmacy was also out of one of his COPD meds so he was off of that too. He was gasping for air & in the worst shape I've ever seen him in. We brought up concerns of this oxygen machine & lack of nebulizer treatments so the oxygen machine was finally switched out. We had to constantly push for the nebulizer treatments as the nurses were not consistent with giving them. They never gave him 2 of his other prescriptions that he absolutely has to take daily & never received after being there 3 days. The only did PT in his room once & only did arms (he was there to start walking on a walker again). They didn't give him morning meds because he was sleeping. He still hadn't received them when the day was halfway over. The nursing staff has attitudes when you try discussing anything with them or when asking any questions. This place is FILTHY and in need of both a deep clean, repairs & paint. So bad that the gas station restroom next door was a better option than using their restroom. We couldn't get my grandfather out of his bed area to be discharged because his roommate's wheelchair died in front of the bed area. There were dirty, wet sheets in the doorway when discharging as well. The place was nasty. My grandfather is in better shape at home than this place as he is back on his regular medications. I was the one who helped him walk again. The staff there did nothing to improve his status. It's such a disappointment.

They have caring staff and they work together to resolve any issues. Great therapy teamread more
