Went in to Paradise Bike Shop on 2/13/26 to have my bike repaired. I was totally blown away at the Fast, Friendly Service. The Guys had my bike fixed in like 5 minutes ! My neighbor said my front tire was worn, and when I asked the repair guys, they said my tire is fine, and no need to replace! Any other shop would have charged me for a new tire ! My grandson's bike needed the chain fixed and new brakes. Arsenio explained everything that he saw upon initial inspection and said he would take it apart and call me with the total. Great service, they went above & beyond expectations ! Selection was great! The time that was taken to interact with me as a potential customer was awesome. I went into several bike shops and looked over many articles on bikes and reviews before I went into this shop. I'm sure if you are reading this review, you are doing your research too. My experiences with other shops vs this one, well let's just say I wouldn't recommend any other shops in the area! There were friendly and informative people at this location who took their time to answer in detail what ever questions I had. I'd say for someone looking for a good quality bike, you would find great value in working with the team of people at this bike shop. It's a small shop making big waves around Cape Coral! The owner is involved in his community and cares about each customer and your personal needs! I was completely satisfied with my purchase and the way I was treated throughout the process! There was no "sales push" which was a nice change, at the same time there was just the right amount of engagement with me as the customer. No- buy, this, buy that, and adding up more and more stuff to my bill. The process was straightforward and simple. Wish I could leave no stars because this place does not even deserve the one star I'm forced to put for this review. Walked in and asked for a tire to be filled with air and they refused to assist a customer to simply inflate a bicycle tire. Can you believe that? They claimed it can explode!!!!! Are you serious.... It's a bicycle tire and you are a bike shop. What kind of answer was that? Poor to no customer service skills of any kind. I recommend going to Walmart across the street or any other place but this. Highly recommend! I've been to the other bike store in CC and when I brought my bike in for a flat tire they tried to sell me a bike. Many years ago I bought a bicycle from Paradise Bicycles and always felt no pressure. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. They didn't try to sell me anything other than what I went in for. Fast forward to a recent trip in to Paradise for a broken spoke. It started with a pleasant and friendly phone call with Brett, which brought me in for the repair. After some common sense on my part I realized that new rims were in order. Riding 15-20 about 4-5 days per week led to my black spokes rusting. So at $2 a spoke x 36 made sense to replace the rim. Plus the bike already had some age to it. Arsenio, the mechanic, explained to me about my choices. He even allowed me to look at the computer while he was explaining. I could clearly see what states had the rims in stock and which didn't. He never tried to upsell me or bullshit me. He actually made me feel very comfortable. I ordered new rims for front and back. Which came in a day early. He was kind enough to rotate my tires as well for no extra charge. Going above and beyond. Because we all know it's the little things that matter. When I got home I put my bike on the trainer. That's how I store it standing with no kick stand. Well, the skewer didn't fit. I called the store and they said no problem, just bring in the trainer and we'll find a skewer that fits. These guys have lots of patience! With a whole drawer full they found one that fit best. So my whole experience with Brett and Arsenio was fantastic!! I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a new bike or work done. Great job guys!! Keep up the good work. read more

I brought both of my wheels in from my Schwinn 10 speed to get fixed. The one leaked from the day I got it back. The front tire I changed my own tube after theirs failed. The rear one required a lot of work to remove and I'm upset about that. They don't seem very interested in the outcome of their work! I've been thinking about this for a long time. I took my bike in for a tuneup. Cost me hundreds of dollars. I got it back with the wrong color chain that I was told I needed to replace despite having no trouble with the one I had. I was told part of the price was for adjusting derailers after replacement of cables and housing. They weren't adjusted, I had to do it myself instead. Cable housing ended up cracking in one place (was NOT replaced). Old brake pads were not replaced. It's not like they would have been any kind of a big ticket item, and they could have called me if they thought they were. The main chain was not in the proper race guide when I got the bike back. Obviously they had no clue and weren't paying attention when they took the old one off. Overall, I'm amazed at the con job and ignorance. If you need to fix a flat tire I'm sure you'll be fine. If it involves something that you want an experienced cyclist involved in who is not a con man, go elsewhere. I had gone there almost 20 years ago and foolishly thought I would be dealing with the same people. I can only guess it changed hands and this guy is benefiting from someone else's reputation. Terrible communication skills. I ordered a part through Paradise on May 2nd. (The employee informed me that the part was available on Amazon.com for a little bit cheaper, but I went ahead and tried to support the local shop instead of Amazon - who needs no help growing... I appreciated very much that he told me about the lower price). He told me it would take a little bit longer than normal, "7-10 days". I told him it was fine and 'that's not a big deal'. I called on friday the 11th, hoping it would be available for the weekend - no dice. The employee insisted, "No, its not here, we will call you when it's in." No problem! still within the 7-10 day window I was told. Fast forward THREE WEEKS. I call again on JUNE 1st to check on the part. I am told I will get a call back. An employee calls me back and leaves a voicemail saying "It looks like we didn't place it on order because it wasn't available...". I call back the next business day and the employee says "it's on order, it should be in soon - we will call you when it's in." I have a familiar feeling... Unhappily, I say 'ok please call me when it arrives.' I called last week sometime, don't remember the exact day... would be the last week of July/first week of August. The employee ASSURES me that the part is in as soon as I start talking about it. This kind of threw me off. Special order part arrives enough to be memorable to the employee and I was never called about it. I say to him, "I ordered it months ago. You never called me. A month later I call and you say it wasn't ordered, but now you ordered it, and "we'll call you!" and here it is coming up on three months now of me waiting on it and you never called." The employee says "... Right, well, it's in." Are you kidding me???? Overall, I was so disappointed in the customer service and lack of caring for a customer's needs and FOLLOWING UP WITH WHAT YOU SAY YOU WILL DO. I could have called and called and called, but I shouldn't have to when working with a reputable business. It was never my job to call about it, even though I had to call FOUR TIMES over the period of months. read more

Small bike shop on Del Prado with excellent customer service. This place is set up to do extensive repairs and tune ups. The two gentleman men working the shop are well equipped and eager to assist the customer. We had four new tires and tubes installed as we waited and also had one spoke replaced. Nice guy on the phone said the owner (Cape Coral) would call me back when he returned. No call, so I called the next day and he was there but with a customer. Never called. Paradise Bicycles has the best selection of bikes, gear, clothing, and accessories in town. I primarily use a road bike and the mechanics are always great, especially Jason, Tyler and Arsneio. Jonathan suggested a pair of gloves that really helped my hand pain: Specialized Grail; the pad is in the center evening out the palm and designed by an orthopedic physician and they really helped! He also has a lot of tips for riding efficiency, power, etc. I have had good experiences in all departments and known them for 5 years. I took a bike in, and was met at the front by someone who didn't really listen to what I was there for. I was quoted a price before I could explain. That said, I did speak with a bike tech about my bike. Maybe I was grubby that day. Or maybe it was because I'm not so young ... I felt I didn't get very kind attention I did leave my bike there. It did get the tune up it needed. They did a good job. I just felt they weren't kind. I felt they were (and I mean all of the staff there) "agest". In other words, since I wasn't a younger person, they were rather rude. I won't be going back. I have other bicycles that another shop I found is now helping me with (2 other bikes). I hope they'll see this and understand: just because a customer isn't young - or if they're a bit grubby (I'd been gardening before I went there), doesn't mean that customer is any less valuable than anyone else.
