We hired George to help us with our G-ma's house when she lost her cookies bedside. He did do a great job, considering that it was grape juice, and about 3 days later by the time he got here; DAY 1: Several passes with the Home Depot ramped-up RugDoctor didn't work well enough. DAY 2: Found George. DAY 3: George arrived, worked magic. I'd like to say the stain is completely vanished, but it's not. We were in desperate need to get our carpets cleaned before renting out our home. We've had some bad carpet companies in the past that have done a mediocre job. We didn't have time to call several companies so Yelp helped us figure out who to use. We called Paradise Carpet Cleaning, the receptionist was helpful and polite. She got us in on the date we needed and at a time convenient for our hectic schedules. She told us Carl would be doing the job and that he would call us before coming. Carl called us to tell us he was on his way and arrived a little earlier than we had expected. He saw that we were still scrambling to get everything off the carpet. He tried to bump up the job after us but that customer wasn't available to do it earlier, so he told us he'd go grab a bite then come back in about half an hour or so. He was very understanding of our situation, polite and personable. When he returned, we were pretty much ready to go, he measured rooms, gave us tips for our rental and even suggested a moving company. Our kids had left some pretty bright stains on the carpet and Carl got them out. Our carpets look like new and very presentable now. We were impressed by Paradise Carpet Cleaning level of customer service - above and beyond!!! After the job we were given plastic booties to cover our feet and not soil the carpet. Carl even suggested we put wax paper or plastic underneath any furniture legs before putting them back on the carpet. We mentioned Yelp but the receptionist had already made note of it on our file so Carl had already adjusted the price by 10% off. Thank you Yelp for helping us out on such short notice! George came over on time as scheduled and he was extremely professional and friendly. He got the job done without delay and explained everything he was doing step by step. It should be noted we had a 4x8 area rug cleaned by them So not a huge job but he got it done with extra care. I appreciated that he also looked at some other "natural material" rugs on site that we have and he referred us out to another reputable business to have them cleaned by someone who specializes in cleaning wool (different process). Made an appointment five days in advance for 1pm on a Monday. I received a call at noon from George's brother, Carl, saying he was in the neighborhood and asked if I was ready then. I told him that unfortunately I was still at work and wouldn't be able to make it home until our scheduled time of 1pm. He was pretty put off by my reponse and told me "Ok, I guess I'll just wait around". 1:30 rolls around and no sign of Carl, so I called him. He told me that he was at another house and wouldn't be able to make it to my house for another 15 minutes, which couldn't work for me because I had to drive back to work. His response was "my brother doesn't pay me to sit around and wait so I had to take another house". I called George, figuring he would like to about his brothers poor customer service, but he just told me that I should have told him I was on such a tight schedule. Not impressed by the customer service. They could not care less about your time just as long as they get paid. read more

My carpets were pretty dirty and he was able to get me in on a moments notice ( literally) My carpets look brand new!!!! I wouldn't have anyone else provide this service than George. I think he communicates effectively what he can clean and what he can't clean. I have a male cat who sprays a LOT. George was able to get out 99% of that odor from that. He had explained to me, honestly, that there may need to be more work done in a few months to try to remedy the situation, which I really appreciated. I don't mind the time or money it would take to fix the situation but I appreciate knowing George will work with me to get things fixed. After years of using another owner/operator carpet cleaning company it was time to move on when the business was passed into less able hands. We are fairly picky about how our carpets are cleaned and have pretty high expectations. George, honestly, met those expectations. There was no "wet dog" smell form our sweet pup while he was cleaning, all spots were removed and after he left, the carpets dried to a lovely, soft texture within a few hours. The carpets were not over wet and there was no smell or trace of any chemical after he left. I have since recommended his company to 2 other families and will continue to spread the word about George. My only suggestion would be that he leave some booties for home owners who have stairs as the stairs tend to take longer to dry and you HAVE to walk on them to get to the bedrooms. read more

I wanted to have my carpets cleaned but I was afraid that some old pet stains would become more apparent if they got wet even though I had cleaned them previously. I talked to George about this on the phone and he was very helpful. I opted to go with the pet pre-treatment along with the carpet cleaning. It didn't get rid of the smell if you get right up to the carpet, but I didn't expect it to. I think the pet treatment may have kept the scent down when the stains got wet but they did become more noticeable if you were looking for them (Actually, it made it easier for me to go back and find the stains and treat them properly with an enzymatic cleaner after the carpet had dried). I don't look forward to the awkwardness of strangers coming to do work at my house but George was friendly and professional. In this case, I was even less excited because I had to show him all the pee stains my cat has left around the house. But he didn't judge and even told me about some strategies he had used with his own cats to help prevent "accidents". Overall, the carpet cleaning services were above average, prices were reasonable, and George is helpful. read more

I got to meet George last week to have some carpeted rooms and stairs cleaned in our home. He arrived promptly at 8:00, quickly measured the rooms we wanted cleaned (measured around the furniture), calculated the price based on "cleanable" space and got it done. We had some stains at the top of the stairs which didn't come out the last time we had the carpets cleaned, but George got them out without an issue or even mentioning them. He made sure to give me the Yelp discount--I only mentioned Yelp once during the initial scheduling phone call.
