One downside, early morning departure.... coffee...and more coffee. the capt and the 2 of us were on a big white "flatsboat" ....Roomy, with a big outboard motor. A short run up the coast. flat as glass water and we were fishing for Tarpon. The capt hooked up the bait and cast out for us.... I did not have any luck but my man hooked up on two huge ones that put on an amazing jumping display before they broke the line. My luck came a little later in the morning when we were fishing near the shore in the mangroves and i hooked two beautiful snook. Great trip on the water, fish fought, suntan worked on.... then a well deserving nap when we got back to the condo !

I have been on many guided trips but I have never been with a guide who was so committed to ensuring you were catching fish and helping us in every facet of the adventure. One of the boys said something about catching a shark and Captain Lynch asked me if we wanted to go and try to catch a shark...I said heck yeah and we went out to an area, he poured some kind of liquid in the water and after about 20 minutes we had a shark on! What a fight and what an adventure we had. If you are looking for someone who checks all the boxes Captain Lynch is the right choice! We never checked any spots. Just a ride. I caught 2 - 9 inch fish and my cousin didn't catch a one. There were 10 people on the boat that holds 40+.That was a sign of a poorly operated charter. I believe approximately 8 fish were caught in total today. All 9 or 10 inch fish! The encounter today was spot on regarding other negative reviews. I've been on many charters over my 66 years. The Sea Trek was by far the very worst experience. Not sure how they remain.
