We attended Schnebly's Mother's Day brunch and left extremely disappointed. Our group spent over $350 expecting a premium holiday brunch experience based on the advertising, but unfortunately it did not come close to meeting expectations. The food quality was underwhelming for the price. Buffet stations were frequently empty and took a long time to be refilled. The chicken paella was so salty it was nearly inedible, and the fried chicken was dry and lacked flavor. Overall, the food felt more comparable to a basic hotel breakfast buffet than a $65-per-person Mother's Day event. Service was also lacking. Our waiter rarely checked on our table, and we repeatedly had to get up and seek assistance ourselves. Several aspects of the event felt misleading. There was no clear indication during booking that the event would primarily be outdoors. We were seated in one of the elevated booths in the back where the fans provided very little airflow, making it uncomfortable. The advertised "live music" consisted of a single performer who was barely audible from our table. To add to the disappointment, the waterfall walkway was closed, which was one of the features we were most looking forward to enjoying while visiting the property. The only bright spots were the woman working at the front, who was kind and professional, and the employee at the omelet station, who was friendly and attentive. We chose Schnebly's for a special Mother's Day celebration because we had high expectations for both the venue and the experience. Unfortunately, we left feeling that the event did not deliver the quality, service, or value that was advertised. The most beautiful winery on the east coast!! It was like a tropical resort! Such colorful flowers, plants, waterfalls, fish ponds, I absolutely beautiful outdoor scenery. It made the wine that much better! Overall of everyone you tasted, which was eight or 10 of them I really liked about four of them. Some of the other wines were just not that great however, these wines are not made with grapes so you have to change your mindset when tasting them. My absolute favorite was the avocado wine. It was so good, I bought a bottle! The pineapple wine, and the lychee wine was also very good!! My husband loved the chocolate passionfruit wine. The tour of the grounds is actually even better. It's huge and they teach you about the making of the wine with different exotic fruits and not grapes. It's also attached to a brewery so you get a chance to visit that as well. I have been here more than a handful of times but I always have such a great time that I tend to forget to write a review. If you are trying to enjoy a wine tasting experience with friends, this is the spot to check out. You get to try 5 different wines of your choice. It is so nice because the bartender, Christian goes over in detail each and every wine that you try. Christian was very nice and attentive throughout the tasting experience. Every time I have come to do the tasting experience it has been phenomenal. My favorite wines I tried tonight was the coco vino and the lychee wine (non-sparkling). We had to buy a bottle of the coco vino for a lovely beach day. It's nice that you get to take your wine glass home with you, more to add to my collection! I truly recommend it to anyone who is a wine connoisseur. We came for the wine tasting and had a reservation for dinner afterwards. The food was good although, there were a couple of options that were not available. We wanted to start off with a charcuterie board as an appetizer and it was not available. My cousin wanted the portobello pasta and my friend wanted the brisket burger and they were also unavailable. I had the firecracker shrimp and I loved that it had spicy mayo drizzled on top. Parking is great here. The service is good, our server Isabelle was nice and very apologetic for the inconvenience of some menu items not being available. Even though some items were not available, our experience was still a good one. There is also a brewery in the back which I have been to before and I like it very much. They have a good restaurant and a set menu for $45, and I got the ahi tuna tartare, blackened mahi mahi with black bean rice, and fried churros with vanilla ice cream. I loved it all. Then I went over to the wine tasting room and sampled five fruit wines. They don't use any grapes, only other fruits, so it's a unique winery. The five samples were $25, though, so it's a bit crazy price wise. They have a brewery and tour on site too. The place is also beautiful and worth a stop if you are in the area. 4 stars is mostly due to pricing... $25 for a tasting is the most I've ever paid and that includes Napa/Sonoma, France, smaller place in Michigan, etc... read more

Schnebly is a fun winery to visit in South Florida. Quite different and odd as Florida doesn't have the correct climate to host wineries. However this one is different because they make fruit wine (which Florida is able to produce) rather than regular wine. Cute little activity with friends! Got a deal on Groupon for a tour + tasting. The staff, particularly Rui and Cristian were great. Rui was our tour guide and explained the fruit wine process, showed us their brewery area for beer as well. Cristian was our bartender during the tasting and he explained all the wines - giving individual suggestions to each of our desires. They have a restaurant and some games and mid-bar food in the back too if you're hungry and don't want to search outside the property. I definitely can see the appeal for a wedding venue here as it was mentioned that weddings do occur here. read more

Still beautiful, but some of the charm has faded with the changes. I've always loved Schnebly Redland's Winery and hadn't been in years so on my recent visit, I was excited to reconnect with the place. Maybe it's nostalgia or just getting older, but some of the recent changes took away a bit of the magic for me. The staff is still friendly and helpful, no doubt. But I got conflicting directions on how to get to the brewery, which led to some confusion. Once I found it, the brewery seemed like a cool addition, but I wasn't a fan of the vibe shift, it's open to minors (understandably, they can't drink), and they charge a cover unless you've done a wine tasting. Between the younger crowd and the new format, it just didn't feel like the same place I remembered. One big change that really stood out: the restaurant now occupies the space where you used to be able to sit at a table with a bottle of wine and enjoy live music. That used to be one of my favorite parts of Schnebly. It was intimate, relaxed, and unique. Now it feels more commercial and more "Miami cliche," and less "hidden gem." That said, it's still a beautiful venue and worth visiting, especially for newcomers. But for those of us who remember its earlier charm, it's hard not to feel like some of the magic has been lost in its expansion. read more

It was my friend and I's last day in Miami and we decided to go spend it in the Homestead area. We had just gone to Robert Is Here Fruit Stand and realized this winery was very close by. When we arrived, we noticed a food truck in the distance, and a beautiful house right in front. The inside is big with nice tall ceilings, and dim lights with a cool vibe. We sat at the bar area where our server informed us about their wine tasting deal of five 1 oz samples for $25, which we ended up going for. He was very knowledgeable on the different flavors and with giving us advice on what we may like. They have a lot of topical flavors and unique options like avocado and chocolate strawberry which changes flavor from initial sip to swallow. After a couple minutes we noticed their outside area and migrated there. It was really pretty with a waterfall and tons of greenery. It is a wedding venue so if you're looking, this is a great option. One nice surprise is that you do get to keep the wine glass. Also, there is a brewery next door. read more

When you have a free weekend while in Miami, take an hour drive south to Homestead and experience this beautiful winery. It is beautifully landscaped with palm trees, tiki huts, lush tropical plants, a koi pond, and a pretty waterfall! There is a nice walkway around the winery and it is wheelchair friendly. Take the tour to learn how they make their exotic wines without grapes. They use mangoes, lychees, guavas, avocados, and other exotic fruits. Check Groupon for special deals for couples and groups. There is a gift shop where you can buy table wines, including guava, lychee, a rose wine, balanced with aromas of plum, black berry, blue berry, and exotic herbs. Wines pour freely during weekend events that feature live concerts and karaoke. We went on a Saturday evening and we had a great time. We did the tour, the wine tasting, and bought wine to take home. Our favorite wines were the Lychee Dulce and the Kiss of Passion. We had dinner afterwards at the winery. We had Skirt Steak, mashed potatoes, tostones, Bao firecracker shrimp, and Sangria. Everything was delicious. Service was good. There was live music also. There was one problem that I need to mention as it was very annoying and that is the flies! I was served with a fly in my Sangria! I don't know if there is something that can be done or if it is just a Florida thing but there was a lot of them around the open air restaurant that evening 04/05/25. Here we go? What an experience we endured coming to this venue. It was a bit further than anticipated however I wanted to check it out.. Winery was located in the valley somewhere lol. I thought we were never gonna get there. Arriving to the location wasn't much parking so we parked on the grass. From the parking lot we walked to the front which was beautiful. As we walked through the doors on your right hand side you have a little store to purchase small snacks and souvenirs samples. On the left there was a sitting area very limited and in the middle was the bar area . We had already scheduled tasting for 2 hrs which by the way was amazing. Sample tasting wine we had 8 choices . Out of the 8 wines I only like 3. Bartenders were very comical ,friendly and helpful with the taste choices. With the wine testing we received a small cracker, cheese and cold cut platter. After taste testing we took a tour of the winery and had lunch . Sorry to say lunch wasn't all that great. I guess my expectations were a bit to much for the lunch. We toured the winery let the kids play in the game room which was located behind the winery.. This was a days adventure. My experience at Schnebly was such a treat! I've been wanting to go forever, and was finally able to do it after finding a deal on Groupon. My husband and I did a tour and tasting and loved it. I love going to wineries, and this one was the most unique. I learned a lot during the tour, and the winery itself features a beautiful waterfall. Even as a south Florida local, walking around Schnebly gives the feeling of being on vacation. It was relaxing and so much fun. The owner even crashed our tour and gave everyone coupons for a future visit. After the tour was the tasting. The wines were amazing! They use all tropical fruits, and you won't find this type of wine anywhere else. We decided to be adventurous and try the avocado wine, which surprisingly became one of our favorites! I loved every single wine I tried. The pricing for the bottles is very reasonable too. I removed a star because of the service. We sat at the bar in the tasting area as instructed after our tour, and got no service for a long time. We watched several parties who were seated after us get served before anyone even approached us. We got one of the bartenders' attention and he said he'd help us in a second, but even he took forever to come back to us. We ended up sitting there with nothing for probably a half hour. They also didn't bother to clear away the dirty glasses and plates from the party before us. Once we did get a bartender he was very nice. The restaurant was also an issue. We planned on eating after our tour and tasting. There was a super long line at the restaurant, which we figured was normal around dinner time. We waited about a half hour in line, finally got to the host stand, and they said they were only seating people with reservations and didn't have any walk-in space. I get that things can get booked up, but they should've had a sign or otherwise notified those who were waiting in line so we didn't waste our time standing there. We along with several other parties were turned away after having stood there for a really long time. Also, we planned to go that night specifically because it was Latin night and the website said there would be dancing, but we didn't see any, which was super disappointing. It was part of the reason we made the 1.5-hour drive. Overall the place is beautiful and the wines are delicious. It has a ton of potential to be a great spot, but there's definitely a bit of refining that needs to happen. I'd be willing to give it another shot. read more

We drove a long wayyy to check out Schnebly Winery. When we arrived, my party was impressed with the size of the winery, but that's where the excitement ended. Once inside, it was buzzz kill right away. The host at the door basically told us that if we weren't doing the wine tasting, we could just do whatever we wanted. We mentioned it was our first time, and he said, "Okay, go ahead to the restaurant, and they'll explain how it works." When we got to the restaurant, the hostess, who was on her first day, couldn't really explain the difference between the restaurant and the wine tasting. We decided to sit and have dinner. In hindsight, I really wish we had done the wine tasting instead. The server did a great job explaining everything, and we ordered a bottle of the lychee wine, which was amazing--we ended up having three bottles at the table! We also ordered the octopus, but it was so cold and chewy that we had to send it back--it was outright awful. The shrimp wasn't bad, but after tasting the octopus and shrimp, we decided not to order entrees. Overall, the place has a different vibe from what we're used to in Miami. While the wine is definitely worth trying, I wouldn't recommend coming here for the food. read more

I'm going to put it plain and simple. The lady at the register was extremely rude. The service was poor. Waiter had no personality. Not friendly. Extremely robot like. I will not mention anyone by name but they should seriously consider having a serious talk with all of their staff. In addition, they run out of charcuterie platters basically as soon as they open, as they want you to dine in their expensive restaurant. We had to order Brie cheese and they didn't even have the courtesy to open it up nor bring us a knife. I've frankly never seen anything like it. We weren't impressed with this winery. We got there and walked around, but it seemed disorganized. I dont know if they were setting up for some event, there was just employees moving chairs and furniture around. None of the employees greeted us or even acknowledged us. The wine tour is just them taking you to where the wine is made not how it's made. There's a restaurant here somewhere, but we never saw it. We ended up sitting at the bar to do the wine tasting. That started off weird. We had a female waitress who said she would be taking care of us, but then she left for about 10 mins and then another male waiter came over and said he would be taking us over. I wish I could give the winery itself four stars and the restaurant three...I was a bit disappointed at this establishment. We had a wine tour, which was fine, and a tasting of some cider, which was actually very good. It was time for the wine tasting and we were sat outside. However, no one came to serve us, so we went back inside. The tasting felt impersonal, and it seemed like we were forgotten a couple of times. No crackers were provided and we had to ask for water refills several times. Next we went to the restaurant. After being seated, no one came to give us water or silverware. I had to ask if we would be served. We were seriously considering getting food at the brewery, but we had been looking forward to eating here. We were probably here around two hours total, and most of it was waiting. No one ever asked if we wanted drinks, and we had to ask for silverware. We also had to ask for ketchup and the check. And by "ask", I mean we got up to find someone. I was very disappointed in the service. The food was delicious (the tuna tartare was probably the best I've ever had) but I can't get over the service. For the price, I would expect it to be better or at least some communication about any delays. It's also pretty far from where we were staying, so the distance made it more disappointing. read more

My experience at this restaurant was deeply disappointing. The venue is beautiful and clearly has great potential, but unfortunately the service and food quality did not meet expectations. From the beginning, the service was poor. Our drinks were not brought to the table in a timely manner, even after we asked again. The children's meals arrived burnt, which is unacceptable. The presentation of the dishes was also underwhelming. What was most concerning was the attitude of the manager, Ernesto, who was also our server. Despite expressing our dissatisfaction, we did not receive any apology or explanation for the poor service. The restaurant was not busy, so there was no apparent reason for what happened. The overall treatment felt distant and unprofessional, as if we were asking for a favor rather than being valued customers. I do appreciate that Chris, a manager from another department, approached us with a far more professional attitude. He was the only one who offered appropriate words and showed willingness to listen. The wine was excellent. However, the Moscow Mule was very disappointing: it was not served in the proper glassware, and the vodka was barely noticeable, completely overpowered by the ginger beer. Saturday night is Latin night and I had a blast dancing! I think the food is over hyped and I personally think it's ridiculous that even when you have a party reservation you have to pay for entrance fee then the food and wine. The wine is really good and the brewery side is pretty fun but Over all the area is very pretty, and a great time but didn't have the best service. Asked our waiter over 4 times for a drink we ordered and we never got it, one of the waiters didn't want to serve us because we were too big of a party, I didn't feel like they were super attentive.
