The laundry room is nice with professional size machines. And they even have ones dedicated for pet laundry so you don't have to worry about getting fur on your clothing. The machines do not take money, you pay either by card at the kiosk or by downloading the app, which is actually awesome as it lets you follow the time left....pure genius in my book! I did meet a few people while in there and every one of them were extremely friendly and had been there for a long time. They had nothing but good things to say about it so that in itself makes me feel like I made the right choice. It is an Adult centered resort so there are no children running around all hours, not that I have anything against them, but when I'm glamping I want to enjoy the peace and sounds of nature. But they were charged 350... assuming it was a misunderstanding we paid because my parents needed to park so I could talk to the owner next day. Well I finally got to speak to one of the rudest people I've probably ever delt with, and he informed me that it's 50 a night and the weekly rate only applies if you stay more than 10 days... I said to him... I don't think a week means what you think it means, but he asked if I knew where he's been all day and I said... no, do you know where I have been all day? He yelled at me and hung up.... So anyways. Don't recommend staying here haha. The host was super nice but the owner informed me that he was going to bitch her out for not handling this herself and apparently he did because my wife got a text from her saying as such. She was awesome really, but the owner is a piece of work. This place also operates under the alias "brazos river retreat rv" as well.
