Alex was incredibly helpful and well organized. He took the time to visit my realm of chaos, I mean, house, and explained the many services his company could offer to reduce my stress load. We settled on what I *thought* was needed, and he sent a rough estimate within a couple hours. A big relief! However, my circumstances changed abruptly, and I needed to cancel the move. As I had no idea If I would be moving within a couple months or a couple years, I couldn't in good faith postpone. Alex was completely understanding. Through the entire process, from first contact to an unfortunate need to cancel, he was courteous, upfront about all matters, offered helpful suggestions, and very pleasant to work with. My only issue, falls entirely on my shoulders. They do offer a refund policy, but it was me who misunderstood the details. On their site, it clearly states that a refund will be granted only if canceled within 48 hours of booking. I had read it as before 48 hours of my move. That's not on them, my fault. Paradise Movers are fanfriggingtastic! Wow! I needed a small move, from an apartment in Woonsocket, that I was "camping out" in for six months (while waiting for my new, endlessly delayed double-wide to finally get finished and closed on), to Chapachet. That day finally came, and I contacted quite a few movers, who quoted outrageous sums, and dates available weeks and weeks out. I was fearing poor old me would have to drag the stuff, car load by car load to my new place. But then Paradise Movers came to my rescue! They received my request for quotes on the Yelp "Request Quotes" thingy, emailed me with a VERY fair rate, and could schedule it exactly when I needed it. Yay! They confirmed my move 3 or 4 times in the meantime, showed up on time, got right to work, and had me loaded up in a half hour! The drive was 20 minutes, got to my new place, and the whole thing was completely done in 90 minutes. The two movers were really nice! Both were communicative, responsive, careful, and efficient. They did everything with a bubbly attitude and smiles on their faces. They were freaking great - even with my packing job being way less than stellar. Paradise, indeed! I can't rave enough about how great this moving team is! Vlad accommodated my last minute moving requests (12 hours between my request and their showing up!) three separate times for three separate jobs in the space of 2 weeks. Alex and Marcus were amazing! Tireless and friendly--even in 95 degree heat! We needed help cleaning out a packed basement and garage, then they helped pack and move my friend's condo stuff to their storage space, THEN helped same friend transport remaining goods to a donation center. Honestly, I texted Vlad late on Friday night on two occasions and both times he responded immediately and had the movers there early next morning. Just unparalleled customer service. We used Paradise moving for a long distance move from Bos to VA. I cannot say enough good things about Paradise moving. I requested a quote and received a response from Andrew (the owner) within minutes. The quote we received is a flat rate and there were absolutely no hidden fees. Andrew worked with me when I had to change the date with no issues. Not only that, but we ended up having a heavy buffet table added to the load last minute and Andrew sent the biggest truck at no extra cost. The men who came moving day (Daniel and Marcus I believe) were absolutely great. They were polite and extremely helpful. The load we sent was to VA at my mom's house. My mom also used them to move extra things around the house, which they completed quickly. I paid the amount + tip to Andrew over the phone, who told me to make sure my mom didn't tip as well so we don't end up paying twice. I moved yesterday in-house to another apartment in a 22-story building. I packed and unpacked, they moved my furniture, etc. setting electronics up, etc. It was excellent service provided without a problem. I worked for a premier moving company so I've seen the best. I have an upright piano that they moved into my second-floor apartment on a very hot day. There is a very tight stairwell in the building, which they managed to negotiate without damaging the piano (or the building)! The movers were friendly and very careful with my piano. Finding this company on Yelp was like hitting the lottery. These guys are amazing! I moved from a two bed apartment to a house and had a king sized mattress, split box spring, frame, small dresser, 3 seat couch and loveseat and a bar moved by them.
