Paying around $9 per person for a single family go-kart ride felt expensive for what you get. The family go-kart itself was also much slower than we expected, and the ride was pretty bumpy, which took away from the experience. Overall, it's not a bad place to visit, but I think the pricing could be more reasonable for the experience.

The 18-hole course took us a while to finish, so we definitely felt like we got a good amount of entertainment and were tired by the end. While I do think the admission price is a little expensive, the overall experience made it worth it. The course was clean and well maintained, and I also noticed that parts of it were handicap accessible, which is a nice feature. Overall, I'd recommend Pirate's Cove if you're looking for a fun activity in the area. The price is my only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

So, two people in our party had to pay full price for no rides. There was a long wait at the front to get into the park, because only one employee was working. Not really sure what they were doing because they gave us a wrist band for the water park even though we only paid for the theme park. We were as confused as they were. We went during Thanksgiving week so the weather was cooler, but there wasn't much of a wait for any rides. Our daughter wasn't tall enough to ride everything (only 38"), but we still managed to have a good time. They have a lot of rides for the smaller kids. My wife and I enjoyed the roller coaster the best. We took advantage of the low wait times and rode the roller coaster several times. Definitely worth checking out.
